Just before the Football World Cup, Jeanne Arthes is launching two fragrances for men named Silver Goal and Golden Goal. The design of the flacons and outer cartons is also signed by the house of Jeanne Arthes, while the massive glass flacons are illustrated with the world of football and feature images of a ball touching the goal net! Golden Goal is the fragrance for the man of the game and Silver Goal is the fragrance presented as the signature of the champion.
Golden Goal is an aromatic fragrance full of freshness, for the masculine man who stands out. Citrusy green notes of bergamot are combined with aromatic notes of cardamom and caraway. The heart adds lavender enriched with precious spices resting on elegant woody notes of vetiver and cedar. The perfume is available as 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
The fragrances premiered in 2013 at Cosmoprof, and have been on the market since 2014.

The bottle sold me on this one, I figured worst case scenario I could give it away as a gift to one of my soccer-loving friends. I’ll get right to it, this is an inexpensive JPG Le Male. A new, non-beastly formulation. It has that strong lavender, cardamom vibe that Le Male has. I find this one lacking Le Male complexity but it is much more hot-weather friendly because of the extra bergamot blast and considerably weaker sillage. Longevity isn’t the greatest either, not compared to an older Le Male formulations that would stay on your skin overnigh. For the price, not a bad choice if you’re going to be wearing it out on a hot night to the club or to your soccer game. That being said, I don’t think I’ll be buying another bottle of this once it’s gone.
