British girl – band Little Mix launches its first perfume called Gold Magic, in the spirit of their hit single Black Magic. The fragrance comes out at the end of July 2015. Described as spellbinding and naturally beautiful, Gold Magic includes playful fruits, powdery violet and sweet hypnotic musk.

The composition opens with a splash of fruit that includes lemon, raspberry and apple. The heart is refreshing and sophisticated thanks to powdery and velvet violet and watery accords of watermelon. The base is musky and warm, sweet and hypnotic.
It is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum

This was the cheapeast perfume i smelled today and was my most favourite. Smells soo fresh couldnt stop going back to it but the sales ladys insisted i test others. Will defo be buying this

Not many people have actually given this great perfume a proper review which is sad 🙁
So I’m going to say I love little mix, but this review is totally unbiased and does not reflect my love for the girl group. I actually really like this perfume.
So as a lot of people have mentioned this perfume starts with this really harsh lemon smell that is almost detergent like. I personally wouldn’t compare it to lemon detergent liquid, but yes it does have a very strong citrus lemon open which I realise not everyone likes and it’s an acquired taste.
Once Gold Magic sits on the skin for a while, some of the other notes begin to smell more prominent. After about an hour I really get the raspberry, apple and watermelon in the middle notes. During this stage it really smells like raspberry lemonade in my opinion. The dry down is just really musky with a mixture of violet notes. I wouldn’t have been able to individually pick the note as violet without reading it, but you can definitely smell something floral with the base musk.
This scent is rather short lived unfortunantly lasting about 4 or 5 hours at most. It isn’t terrible as there are some celebrity perfumes that dissapear completely after less then half an hour on the skin and even some designer fragrances have worse lasting power then little mix, and these designers happen to be more expensive.
The initial blast which is really citrusy I find is rather strong and could get in people’s faces, so I’ll give the initial silliage a 8/10 and then it does down to a more closer scent on the skin with a projection of about 5 or 6 out of 10.
Gotta quickly say I love the glass bottle. It looks so sophisticated and doesn’t look cheap at all. I’d expect a glass bottle like this for a high end fragrance not a celebrity perfume. Just a quick mention I find this similar to Circus Fantasy by Britney Spears as both have this strong citrus smell and set down to smell like raspberry lemonade.
I personally think this can be worn at any time, others have said they think it’s best suited for night, but I have worn this during the day and very much enjoy wearing it whenever and I’m a guy. Again because of the citrus note a guy could easily wear this as it is very citrusy and fresh for the first 2 or so hours and a lot of men’s colognes do have citrus notes and do smell fresh.
I have to say this is a good job for the first perfume by little mix. There are definitely improvements which have been made in their next perfume Wishmaker which I will eventually get around to reviewing.

Smells like a mix of lemon disinfectant and old lady perfume. It smelled nice enough but after about 2 hours the scent has totally gone no matter how much you marinate yourself in it. This was NOT worth the money I paid, £27 for 50ml. And it was not worth having to walk past the bitchy, rude, morbidly obese sales assistant who was guarding the celebrity perfume shelf.

I ordered this straight away as a blind buy when it came out here in Australia. However, once I opened the bottle and sprayed it on my skin I was disappointed. The overall smell of the perfume smells like an air freshener rather than a perfume, however remember that this is my opinion. The longevity of the perfume wasn’t to great either, overall I wouldn’t repurchase.

I smelt this perfume yesterday and I didn’t like it which is sad coz from what the bottle looks like, I was expecting something a little more sophisticated. The bottle and box is nice but it’s a shame the scent doesn’t match up 🙁

All I can smell is the citrus, which makes me cringe – it’s a bit dish detergent-esque. Shame because I love the bottle and hoped for something a little more sophisticated.

It’s one of those perfumes that changes on me, the really soft violets dominated when I first brought it, I got tons of people saying it smells gorgeous! I sprayed again a few months later and it’s more fruity than before, like a very delicate watermelon with a background of apples.

So I just so happened to get my hands on a bottle of this before release. OMFG it is amazing !! The box is better in person and mine just happens to be slightly more amazing as mines is signed by all four girls !!!! Love it so much !! It is 1 of 100 boxes signed at an event. The bottle is very elegant and pretty. The smell is amazing though. The top is very apple on first spray then it goes into the raspberry. The middle has a nice watermelon floral smell. The apple can be detected in the middle but very faintly. The base is a warm musk and I pick up the lemon in the base more than the top notes. All in all the girls have done a great job. The projection of this is good. Not too much and not that close to the skin that it is undetectable. The only thing that lets this down is the fact it is a little bit heavy on the lemon & it only really lasts about 4-5 hours on my skin. Still a great scent though. Little Mix this is a great first fragrance and I give this a 10/10 due tot he amazing smell and the fact the box is signed by the girls ! xo
