Custo Barcelona is launching a new women’s fragrance Glam Star just before the winter holidays season 2012. It is inspired by the glamorous parties and fashion runways of New York.
The scent is soft and fresh yet seductive. It belongs to the chypre fruity perfume family. Notes of pear alcohol blend with citrusy aromas of tangerine and bergamot in the top. The heart reveals jasmine and musk, along with a fruity blend of strawberries, raspberry sorbet and black currant. The base includes sandalwood, cedar, patchouli and vanilla. The fragrance was created by Alberto Morillas.
The bottle design is anything but subtle – there are golden colors, shimmer and gemstones. It is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

I bought it blind and it isn’t bad but nothing exciting about it, blahhhh scent that is soo forgettable. A mix of everything, a bit tropical, probably ok for summer it has no character , no finesse.

I dont hate the smell but its just not for me. To me it smells like patchouli with some tropical fruits. Also i find it a little bit too heavy. It reminds me of some perfume that right now i cant remember, i think some of Escada.

Bright, youth, bottle super interesting, resistance is not bad. Not a masterpiece, of course, but it is worthy.
