Description

Giulietta was presented in 2009 and inspired by love story between Federico Fellini and actress Giulietta Massina. The fragrance incorporates Bulgarian rose, ylang ylang, green apple, pink tulip, lily of the valley, palida iris, vanilla orchid, lilac, heliotrope, cedar, musk, amber and sandalwood. It is a sweet, floral memory of the love pair’s journey to Corsica.

Sweet apples with a little musk added in. Stronger than you would think. Great to wear when you feel in casual mood but want to feel a little more upscale. I use it as a travel scent…on the plane as it is not too strong to distract or annoy anyone on the flight. Just a sweet global feel of a scent. I just have the roller-ball and the small size spray, which for me is just fine. I can’t commit to a big bottle on this one just yet.

This scent immediately reminds me of making pomanders at holiday time – oranges with cloves and vanilla, after which it broadens into the floral notes. It finally develops an almost medicinal and minty hue I find refreshing and uplifting. It remains soft throughout and gives me a sense of coziness.

Is it just me or what? But This smells like rotten fruit on me. Not a fit for my body chemistry

This turned into pure soap on me, it was terrible. I actually gave my sample away, I hated it so much. I’ve since discovered that I do not like the scent of ylang-ylang, but still, it was awful on my skin. (Ylang-ylang + green apple = soap, definitely.)

I like this scent on the paper.
But sadly, this scent turn super powdery and too strong on my skin.

To be specific, I own the rollerball of Giulietta. It’s a clean, soapy, faintly sweet scent. It also disappears from my skin nearly instantly. I can push my nose straight into my skin – nothing. (Meanwhile, the sample of Flowerbomb that I sprayed on my other arm is still going strong.)

This was my signature fragrance in high school. Smelled beautiful and soft. Giulietta is pure romance in a bottle. It is exactly what you would expect a Tocca fragrance to smell like lol. It reminds me of getting dressed in the morning. Light is streaming through the windows, and the walls and linens are a soft white color. Yellow tulips are sitting in a porcelain vase on the windowsill.
It is sweet, but only slightly. No where near a cloying LVEB sweet. The sweetness seems to come from the ylang-ylang and green apple. It is a very soft, natural sweetness: one you might find in a fruit if that makes sense. It’s about as sweet as a banana. It is very juicy-smelling from the green apple. It has also a very soft and pretty creaminess from it. Didn’t find this soapy at all, but I could get why people could think that way. It’s more like a tasty fruit. The silage is very soft though, and the longevity is pretty weak. Giulietta probably lasts about 1-3 hours.
I know people think that this fragrance is inoffensive, boring and generic. I agree. But it’s not necessarily a bad thing. Giulietta is something you would wear if you want to smell nice, no one dislikes it. It’s great for an everyday or signature fragrance. It is very safe and romantic. Men love this. This would be perfect for sweet, feminine young women with big imaginations. It’s generic and popular in the way that everyone loves sunsets or every young girl wants romance, if that makes sense.
One tip to whoever is interested in this fragrance: test it out in-store before you buy! I have found that if you don’t have the right chemistry, it can somehow smell sour and tangy on your skin. Some of my friends have borrowed this, and it smelled slightly foul. Others smelled absolutely dreamy. It should smell fine the majority of the time, but I would suggest making sure to prevent any regrets. If you have the right personality and chemistry for this fragrance, it would smell heavenly on you.

My friend told me this was her favorite Tocca, so I had to try it. I can see this for her, as she is very quiet and dresses conservatively. I like my perfumes to be a little louder, so Giulietta was a disappointment for me personally. It lays very close to the skin, no sillage on me at all. And it’s virtually disappeared after 2 hours. Boo.
How does it smell anyway? I’d say that the lilac accord and the apple accord are blended together so thoroughly that they no longer smell like apple or lilac, but it’s own new thing, a very soft clean shampoo floral.
I’ll keep looking for MY perfect Tocca and leave this to my friend. I think it might be Liliana or Colette for me.

Seemed promising when I sniffed the bottle but ended up smelling like your average drugstore shampoo on my arm. Meh.

Hairspray opening, then a soft and sweet GREEN apple and floral mix – I do smell a lot of lilac and lily of the valley. Very innocent smell. Unfortunately a weird tang and a dryer sheet musk begin to swallow it up after that. Dislike.

This is a perfect example of how I feel sometimes rollerballs can smell so different as opposed to sprays (or dabbers). I have this in the rollerball form, and I am not a fan of this on my skin..in rollerball form. But then I got a spray sample of this, so this is my review for the spray version.
Anyway….in spraying this, I get a creamy fruit scent. I used to work in a candy/ice cream store as a teen, and we had handmade pistachio ice cream, and that is what this reminds me of. I realize there is no pistachio nor creamy notes, but, that is what I get on my skin. Also sort of like that old-fashioned pistachio salad, with the marshmallows and pineapple and whipped topping. Very much a skin scent, not heavy or overpowering. But I literally smell none of the notes listed here. Which I suppose is a good thing, being apple is a very tricky note on my skin. The woodiness comes through a little bit on the dry down, but..this mainly stays the pistachio ice cream smell to my nose/on my skin.
But..oddly enough, after wearing this for some 6 hours, I noticed a terrible stinky deodorant smell. Ever smell a deodorant that just smelled bad and potent..? That is what this turns into after several hours on my skin, almost intolerable. At first I could not place what it was, I was thinking possibly the hubby bought a stinky new deodorant and I did not want to say anything, but then I smelled the inside of my elbow, where I sprayed this, and Giulietta was the culprit. Sadly, this is now officially a dislike for me. 🙁
In the grand scheme of things, I really do not want to smell like an ice cream cone or a fruit & pudding salad for hours only to morph into a really bad stinky deodorant.
But, this is the spray, so this makes me realize I need to test my rollerball again, perhaps test it in the heat of summer, as well. The rollerball does smell different to me than the spray, so I will revisit my rollerball someday…Fingers crossed!! 🙂 xx

Disappointed. I was promised that this smells just like Bath and Body Works Butterfly Flower, which has been discontinued, but it doesn’t. Butterfly Flower is mostly mimosa. This scent just smells like soap or baby powder scented deodorant to me.

It’s a nice fresh cut sweet grass scent. I like it. However, it’d be great if I could detect green apple on my skin.

If a Harry & David pear took a shower with zest soap, then wrapped itself in a warm towel fresh from the dryer, heady with fabric softener, it’s name would be Giulietta. I blind bought this at TJs in a gift set and it has turned out to be the absolute best fragrance purchase of the last 5 years for me. This is the scent I’ve been wanting for eons. Something powerfully fresh but still feminine, fruity yet mature. And for it to be so affordable… I’ve struck gold. I only wish it lasted longer on me.

    * Update 3-18-18 This is sweet, delicate floral bliss! I smell delicious green apple blended with lilacs and a smidge of herbal tulips. So, so lovely. Fresh, fun and interesting. Springtime perfection! Projection seems low. Pity, because I wish everyone could smell this little beauty.*
I got a small travel size bottle of this for a steal online and was super excited to receive my first Tocca fragrance. And the name…Giulietta. It sounds so lovely. That being said, I am somewhat underwhelmed. It smells nice if a bit boring. I received this bottle in the fall, I am hopeful that this will smell better in the spring or summer since it is very light, fresh and a bit apple-y. That’s really all I can smell….green apples and a soft floral water.

There’s a note in Giulietta that I don’t like. I looked up notes on perfumes that I think smells similar to it and can’t find the culprit. It’s just a relaxed soft fuzzy scent. Giulietta is fairly linear and sweet.

  17. :

    3 out of 5

Giulietta is such a soft and tenderly creamy scent. Lilac is the main note, sweet and light and not overwhelming or old fashioned. In the beginning it’s blended with a very natural fresh green apple. There is also sweet vanilla orchid blended with cuddly musk and a hint of ylang ylang.
Lily of the valley is usually my least liked note, I generally find it screechy and soapy. I can sense a hint of LotV here, but surprisingly I don’t hate it. It’s creamy fresh and fits well with the lilac. Me liking lily of the valley is really rare and says a lot about how nice the scent is!
The drydown is a delicate sweet mix of vanilla, musk, lilac and some heliotrope.
This perfume could be a bit stronger and longer lasting, but it’s really nice if you like soft florals. I don’t feel like it’s the right scent for my personality, but I like it a lot and I find it quite original.

So delicious at first the green apple was strong and normally i don’t like green apple but this was a delicious green apple. I was in love, THEN about a minute later it just smells like pure soap, like I just got out of the shower and maybe washed with Irish Spring. Projection is very weak to.

This perfume is me and my best friend’s signature. Wore it on her wedding.
Imagine the teal calm ocean meets the warm peachy shores during sunset.
It is a perfect balance of warm and fresh scents. I really got complimented by my boyfriend on our first date. I can see wearing this on a truly romantic date on a veranda on some far away island.

  20. :

Giulietta is elegant and romantic without being stuffy. I know apple is often scorned, but I’m a sucker for good apple notes and this one really shines. It isn’t synthetic or loud, just crisp and subtly sweet. The scent is rather clean but feminine with a creaminess at the end that just seals the deal for me. She is perfect for the day into the evening, work or pleasure, and while she isn’t as lasting as some perfumes, she lingers on you just like a hug from someone dear.
There just isn’t anything to not like about this lovely fragrance. Soft, tender, but captivating. I don’t find many perfumes worth paying full price for but this one is so beautiful and dear I don’t mind it. She suits me so well and because it’s not as popular as other perfumes out there, I think it works as a signature.

I got Giulietta through Scentbird during the winter.
It is a pretty fruity floral that I think will be better suited to warm weather.
Both of the Tocca scents that I’ve tried are uplifting, and office-safe, and seem to be made of good quality stuff — no sharp alcohol or fake sugar. For me, Guilietta isn’t quite as special, nor as long lasting, as Florence.

This scent reminds me a lot of a green tea-spiked limited edition version of Butterfly Flower(B&BW) that I own, but smoother and more expensive-smelling. A bit more of a natural scent, as well. This is a clean, semi-sweet, shampoo-tinged fruity-floral that SEEMS to dissipate quickly but will still inexplicably be on your skin the next morning. I think because it’s such a natural and clean scent, you get used to it more quickly. You may not smell it, but assuredly, others do. I usually prefer florals that are fresh, clean, and a little dry(little to no fruit), but this scent is so beautiful that I couldn’t resist stocking up with a full bottle. It has quickly become a favorite. To my nose, the dry down smells of(in order): Lilac, Green Apple, Ylang-ylang, and heliotrope.

    Beautiful.
I picture this on a woman who is on always rushing for time, late to be anywhere anytime, and out of breath when she gets there.
“So sorry I’m late!” is followed by the swift chilly breeze she brings in from the cold outdoors. Adjusting her scarf, this smell wafts from both the breeze and herself. Her eyes light up with a smile when you smile at her.
    “It’s okay…you smell super good!”
Super good is all that comes to mind because at this moment she has made you dumbstruck with this wonderfully bright, clean, romantic smell.
“Oh, I just showered!” she smiles.
Yes, she is the type who forgets she casually spritzed this on before dashing out the door to meet you for your coffee date yet smells and looks impeccably perfect.
This is just beautifully clean. Like you’re wrapped in clean bubbles, soft flowers, and fluffy white robes. The apple is very apparent. I just love that initial burst. Like the girl who bursts through the door…
I’m sorry if that story was ridiculous but this smell is just so perfect for any time. You’re bound to get compliments. It is soft after an hour. But that’s okay for me.

When I use this the words “feminine” and “pretty” come to mind. This is an ultra-feminine smelling scent, if you can categorize a fragrance by gender. It’s a pretty, lilac floral and apple delicate veers-on-shampoo-like scent. Has a similar feel to body sprays a la Bath and Body Works/Victoria’s Secret, but if those sprays were kicked up a notch in elegance and composition. Pretty pretty!

  27. :

Super green, but very classy. Certainly captures fresh and feminine, but has got a bit of an edge to it too.

  28. :

This is a lovely, unique, feminine fragrance that’s very easy to wear. Of the nine Toccas I have tested properly (i.e. multiple times) this is a favourite, jostling for the top spot with Colette.
Giulietta is fresh and clean, yet a little bit rounded, with a soft sweetness. The Lilac and Apple is a delightful pairing. I have many other soft feminine fragrances, but none with this unique scent signature.
So I’m surprised Giulietta does not have more ‘Loves’. I suspect sometimes it’s because of reviewing too soon after application. Some drydown time, and a few experiences of being told how nice you smell, are needed to realise how good this is!
I do understand the occasional reference to shampoo, but it’s superior to that. It’s wearable in any situation and I’m always pleased to catch a whiff of this on the breeze.
Longevity is reasonable – several hours.

I love Tocca as a brand. Spring, summer and early fall; a bottle of Florence is on my perfume tray. This one was a gift from my daughter so I pretend to love it, but I really don’t. On my skin violet, heliotrope and hyacinth = Bank of England.

  31. :

    3 out of 5

I will start by stating that this is a nice fragrance and one that I feel has its own unique place in ones fragrance wardrobe.
I am wearing it today and I must say that I prefer the drydown (approx 4 hours in) than the initial notes. My boyfriend is not such a fan of this and I think I know why… It has quite a mature feel to it. not that there is anything wrong with that but it does lean a little on the older lady side of things. That being said, I love the apple added to the floral as I think it makes it unique within the fragrance world.
This one definitely has good staying power and throw so no more than 3 spritzes for me in the morning.
I think this is perfect in Spring and Autumn (although here I am wearing it in Winter :p )for women who don’t want to feel too teenagery with all the candy fruity scents but aren’t a fan of heavy florientals (flowerbomb, Chanel no. 5 etc.
I appreciate a juicy floral like this and think it deserves a sniff at a counter. Would not recommend blind buying this one.

What a beauty of a scent.
It has a romantic feel to it.
I picture wearing a long flowy dress in a field of flowers.
Opens up with a burst of green apples and then gentle floral starts to peak up.
This is one of the options I have to wear to my earthy wedding.

  33. :

This one is hard for me to describe. I can only say that I really like it. 🙂 I cannot distinguish any particular notes. This is one of the ONLY florals I have in my collection (I dislike florals!), and I wear it often. I think of it as my go-to scent when I want to feel pretty, feminine, naive, safe – along with Colette.

“For never was there a story of more woe than that of Juliet and her Romeo” ….
This is Juliet from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. I think the fragrance is meant to evoke the Juliet Balcony in the city of Verona. This smells of a garden in an Italian villa. Tulips, roses, heliotrope, lilac, lily of the valley, iris and orchids, very very floral. A green apple scent as the fragrance begins and then it progresses into a flowery scent before it becomes sandalwood and amber. Very nice. It smells expensive because of the rich composition of flowers, not too far from smelling in the same league as Amarige by Givenchy. It smells vintage 1990s, it has a soothing aroma that lasts for over 5 hours. It blooms in spring time and summer and it has a romantic touch. Every time I smell fragrances by Tocca I wan to applaud whoever created them. They really do a marvelous job of fitting the fragrance with it’s name. Cleopatra smells like I imagine Cleopatra smelled like and this one is Juliet, youthful, passionate and in love wit her Romeo.

A pretty, softly whispering perfume. This opens on my skin with a lot of fresh, sweet apple, before a heart dominated by buttery ylang-ylang and followed by some rose, before fading away into freshness. I found this to be predominantly ylang and apple on my skin.
The scent reminds me of something that Valentino would create, as it has an understated sort of femininity and elegance. I feel like this is for the sophisticated woman who wishes for her perfumes to purr and not roar.
Lasting power is for about 3 hours, although it gripped onto my skin as a skin scent for a further two hours after that. Soft to moderate sillage.

  36. :

    3 out of 5

At first spray I thought this one smelt so strong and generic. Is that the apple note? Blah! After a short while and it dried down, oh my god, it transformed! I’m getting some of the lily of the valley and lilac now. This turned into such a beautiful, and delicate floral on my skin. It fades soooo fast though, what a shame. I was almost in love.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

Smells lovely when first sprayed, but the sillage and longevity are really hopeless. I have a 5 ml spray mini of this and I used up about half of it in one day. Needs to be reapplied every hour or so, at least on my skin. A pretty fruity-floral, but not worth it – there are many celeb cheapies that could outperform this.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

It goes on kind of like bubble gum! Maybe it’s the apple? Then it begins to dry down and I smell a lot of heliotrope, iris, sandalwood, and rose. It’s pretty and sweet and powdery and a little bit spicy! I really really enjoy this one. It’s not quite as fresh as I was expecting based on the notes, but I love it! It’s really sophisticated and the bottle is gorgeous! I never really considered Tocca fragrances to be anything I would be interested in before I tried Giulietta. Now I’d like to sample more!

  39. :

    4 out of 5

This one is my favorite out of all the Tocca scents. It’s very soft and feminine. I love how the vanilla and musk tone down the floral in it. Makes it creamy. But, as with most all the tocca scents, they don’t last long. I like to pair it with my Chanel Eau De Tendre. My husband just LOVES it !!!

  40. :

    5 out of 5

I kept trying to like Tocca, but always found the scents to be boring/generic with pretty bottles. Recently, i gave Guiletta another shot after receiving the lotion as a gift. Surpringly, after wearing a sample out for a night, I found I loved the way I smelled and so did my boyfriend. It didn’t quite feel sexy and nocturnal but it felt clean and lovely. It gives off more throw than you’d expect and stays pretty soapy throughout the dry down. I’d describe this scent as freshly-showered-girl. Not a bad thing to smell like all day 😉

  41. :

    5 out of 5

This is a scent that’s really “just nice”! It’s safe – not a bold, daring sexy scent – just clean, feminine & pleasant. A great one for work, or as a fresh signature scent!
Most scents with apple have a synthetic ‘shampoo’ thing going on with my skin chemistry… Giulietta is a smooth, fresh scent – mainly green apple & lilac, as the note pyramid suggests! Instead of being something very airy/ozonic/sheer and fruity – it’s a very dense, concentrated fragrance! Really unique, actually, and much different from DKNY Be Delicious, which is what I ASSUMED it would smell like based on the note pyramid. I love that this scent is one that I am *always* in the mood for! It’s even great to comfort you – if you’re feeling sick, or tired, the crisp (albeit slightly musky) apple will bring you right back to life, in an uplifting, non-cloying way. So hard to find that, in my opinion. An immediate full-bottle purchase!
Polite & ladylike, very poised and simple. Beautiful! Definitely one of my favorite scents for wearing early in the morning.

“Giulietta is named for Giulietta Masina, the wife and life-long love of Italian director Federico Fellini and was inspired by their holidays on the island of Corsica. This begins with a delicious green apple aroma, sweet and crisp, surrounded by the soft ephemeral scent of pink tulips and sheer roses. As the heart opens, ylang ylang adds a sun-drenched floral fullness to more classic powdery notes, like lilac and heliotrope. Hints of soft vanilla kisses and beachy breezes follow until the warm sunset over the sea is discernible in the close of cedar, musk, amber and sandalwood. This is like a perfume portrait of a perfect day, spent with someone you love.
    Sillage: average.
    Longevity: good.”

  43. :

This is a very pleasant scent, but both silage and longevity are low. The opening is green apple and mixed light flowers, but the apple evaporates very quickly. The midnotes are vanilla and amber. Base notes are vanilla with a little white musk. Tocca offers small roll-ons of this as part of multi-fragrance sets at very affordable prices. This would be a real winner for me if it just lasted longer.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

This scent is very old-world feminine. I find the name very fitting, as I could easily see an Italian lady wearing it. Very floral with quite a bit of musk. It smells like springtime and foreign films. I love it!

  45. :

I’ve always wanted to own a Tocca perfume. The bottles are just breathtaking. This particular perfume is the only one in the line that I liked, besides Cleopatra. If I could describe this fragrance in one word, it would be clean. That is all I can say about this fragrance. I can’t pick out any of the notes. It smells like clean laundry. Fresh, delicate, feminine. This is the scent I wear when I just want to smell nice. If you want a perfume that grabs someones attention, I would pass on this one. Pretty, but not memorable.

  46. :

I bought this scent as it reminded me of Vicolo Flori, by Etro. Vicolo Fiori has zero longevity on me and maybe that was because I was wearing the EDT vs the EDP, but I bought this one because the Tocca scent lasted much longer.
I will say that it is not better than the Etro Vicolo Fiori, because of the powdery notes, but it is a nice scent it it’s own right.
The top green/fresh/floral notes dries down to the powdery/woodsy/heliotrope bottom notes. I just bought the EDP of Vicolo Fiori and I hope that it works on me in the longevity/sillage departments.

  47. :

    4 out of 5

The top notes (especially the apple) were so lovely but so very short-lived. Far too fleeting–seconds, in fact. After that, the fragrance was just a lightweight sweet floral. Moving on…

  48. :

    5 out of 5

This is a bit soapy, and green, in a good way, it smells nice but to my nose too much like a shower gel..it is real light though, too light to purchase …it reminds me of the Eaux Fraiche we bought in supermarkets in France when I was a girl..fresh, light, pretty, youngish.,a medley of soft floral notes….I agree it would make a nice gift for a young woman. Or someone who likes very light scents…not my favorite of the Tocca line..

  49. :

    3 out of 5

Delicate, floral, definitely smell the apple. I wouldn’t call it air freshener, but it isn’t very distinctive either. The silage and longevity are terrible. I think this would be a great perfume for someone in high school, maybe for a cool aunt with money to burn to give as a gift. I don’t think it is possible to overspray this.

  50. :

Giulietta really is a gem. The apple gives it a crisp freshness and the florals a soft femininity. I’m not one for bottle collecting but you can’t deny the bottle is beautiful. To me Giulietta is a springtime fragrance perfect for days out while wearing a white cotton dress.

    Understated elegance.

  52. :

    5 out of 5

I really wanted to love this … admittedly because of the bottle and back story. I did not get ANY green apple and picked up mostly on the base notes of amber, cedar and musk. It is a delicate fragrance which disappeared almost immediately, and while it lingered grew a little too sweet. It’s pretty, really pretty, and soft, but not for me. It does speak to a budding romance, but more like Romeo and Juliette, not any sort of adult relationship.

  53. :

    5 out of 5

A really pretty fragrance. No, it doesn’t have the lush, sophisticated, unfolding and mysterious layers of some frgrances, but sometimes a person’s mood doesn’t call for all that. It has a bright opening that’s fresh and optimistic. It’s subtle with a nice blend of fruits and florals that dry down to a really nice papery smell. The lilac, while not pronounced is there and gives it a bit of a provincial feel. The staying power isn’t strong nor is the projection. It’s just a really nice fragrance and comes at a relatively good price point. I’m glad I have it.

  54. :

Bland, lightly sweet inoffensive floral. Not me, which is too bad because I love Giulietta Masina ( for whom this was named ). I could see this being a great 16th birthday present for a girl who likes a floral because of the beautiful bottle and association with Fellini/ Masina.
Go elsewhere if you want something that stands out.

  55. :

I purchased the rollerball of this, until I can afford the perfume.
I am in LOVE with this scent. I’ve searched high and low for a perfume that smells like Caress soap bar (pink, original). Although it is not a dead on dupe, it’s pretty darn close: Feminine floral, with a delicate musky spark, with *jjuuuuusssst* a touch of fruit. Smells so fresh and ladylike. I’m so glad someone recommended this as a caress dupe because it is very reminiscent of the scent. It is EXACTLY what I was looking for for the spring. Exactly
On to the bad part. Longevity, strength and sillage SUCKS. Majorly! I got 1-3 hours on skin, and about the same on clothes. I love it to much, I’ll keep repurchasing though.
Highly recommend this as a ‘meetings’ scent or for the girlies/guys who want to smell delicate and feminine.

Ordinary sweet floral. No longevity after repeated attempts and applications. Synthetic notes.

I’ve always wanted to fall in love with a Tocca fragrance so that I might be able to own one of these beautiful bottles – which are works of art! I’m not sure how I missed Giulietta, but I picked up the rollerball version at Sephora recently and knew that it was the one for me; I just brought home a full-sized bottle today and I’m thrilled with the scent.
The fragrance is truly beautiful; it’s nothing overwhelmingly original, though I can’t think of another scent to compare it to. I get mostly apple and lily at first – and then the vanilla and sandalwood warm things up a bit after a few minutes of wear. There seems to be a fair amount of white musk as well, if I’m not mistaken. It is clean, powdery, fresh, and sweet. Almost a mix between Prada’s Infusion d’Iris and D&G Light Blue. Mesmerizing.
This scent really floored me – in a good way. My sniffer was a bit exhausted after trying to find the perfect holiday gift for my future sister-in-law (who is very hard to please), and one whiff of Giulietta literally put a smile on my face. I knew at that moment I’d have to add it to my collection.
My only complaint is that the label on the bottle is kind of an eyesore. It’s crooked and looks like it was thrown on haphazardly, but the lid is heavy and ornate and probably beautiful enough to make up for it.
Sillage is minimal, but I sprayed it about six hours ago, and it’s still going strong. Projection is limited, so it’s office / daytime friendly, but still romantic enough for an evening out. To those of you who think it fades too quickly, check with someone close to you; I received compliments on this throughout the day after I thought it had become undetectable.

Edit: This is incredibly similar to Bath & Body Works’ Japanese Cherry Blossom, albeit a bit softer and with a touch less cinnamon. If you’re a fan of the aforementioned fragrance, you’ll probably adore this one as well.

I was really liking this scent, fresh, light and clean. I get more soft lilac and tulip and a honeysuckle smell. It smells almost liquid and juicy but I don’t get a strong apple smell, just some crispness in the background.
I was really enjoying the fragrance but in the back of my mind it reminded me of something and I couldn’t quite put my finger on it.
Unfortunately I realized that for a while it does smell a bit like Off spray on bug repellent.
But I decided to stay with this one. Afer a couple more hours that bugspray scent went away and the Giulietta scent was really beautiful and light and it was still on my skin when I woke up this morning 10 hours later. it’s super soft and light now, reminds me or a morning in Rome- aahhh. As with many perfumes, you have to wait for this one to expose its real beauty.

Giulietta is crisp, clean, cool and subtly sweet. Perfect for spring. It’s simple so there’s not a lot of thought required when wearing it. Highly recommend to anyone who loves simple, pretty, clean scents- especially apple lovers.

brief apple note then some nasty flower which ends up smelling like sweaty skin, that’s not what I want to smell like after a shower so I had to put another perfume on top of this nasty scent.

A very soft sweet scent. Quite pleasant. I can smell the rose and green apple. It smells pretty fresh.. that just stepped-out of the shower smell. But not in the DKNY intensity, it’s a bit more subtle than that. It reminds me more of a fresh laundry sort of smell.

I liked Guilietta a lot when I first sprayed it, but it has no staying power on my skin at all. I even tried it with the body cream without any luck. I guess it’s just not meant for me. Too bad 🙁

I bought this, but I’m returning it. When I first sprayed it on, it smelled divine. It smelled like clean, fresh, sweet bananas or something like that. I thought it could become my signature scent. Within 5 minutes, there was no trace of perfume on my skin at all. I’ve never had a perfume last only 5 minutes. Clearly I’m not happy with it.

Utter confusion here. I don’t get ANY apple at all from this. Not in the opening and neither in the long run. I get wonderfully clean yet warm florals, I get iris, I get orchids and I get the feeling this might just be my new signature scent. To even compare it to “your average apple scent” seems bizarre to me, but I guess it might just be my skin chemistry.
Either way, I’m loving everything about it, including bottle design, art work, name, backstory, everything.
I have never tried any o
