Oh, this is so, SO good! It’s a comforting, cozy sweet almond-pistachio scent on my skin. It’s bright and happy – it’s perfect to wear during cold weather or on rainy days. It’s lively and uncomplicated, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that at all. I love perfumes like these. They’re the LBD’s of the perfume world – I can never get tired of them and no matter how understated they are, they still make their mark with elegance and simplicity. I love this, it’s already on my wish list for Christmas.

This starts out a slightly green type almond juice, possibly I’m picking up the pistachios and didn’t realize, it’s not super exciting at the beginning but she transformed into a super long lasting vail of beauty.
Although their is so so many perfumes around of these notes and type now adays, If you are looking for a very long lasting, vail of moderate sweetness that’s smooth and lovely I’d definitely be giving this one a go.
The fact it is very long lasting on me really gives it a extra something special over many of my other perfumes in the same genre.
Very luxurious and feminine, Simple but elegant.
    Highly recommend to sample. A+

Gourmand almond perfume. Girl who wears it isn’t loud, but rather sweetheart who would love to sit by window in warm socks and with cup of tea in hand while reading a book. She usually hugs her friends, will make some gingerbread in holidays, handmade some room decorations from paper and perhaps even organize a diary with her friend photos in it. She likes to wear huge knit scarf and hat with pompom. ‘Hufflepuff perfume’ if that makes sense.
Cozy perfume for autumn and winter. Not too sweet or warm if worn in cold weather. If more serious type woman might choose more powdery perfumes, then this almond perfume can be as alternative for younger woman. For teens up to around 25 years, or for woman who are playful, have cute attitude and prefers cozy.

This is what i wanted poison girl to be …and this is 20x better than PGirl..and poison girl went bk to the store, she was cheap , this is not by far. Drydown is fabulous! 10/10 for fall.

I just got this yummy scent and this is fabulous and its sweet but not sick sweet at all, its smooth and has a fresh floral tone added slightly which gives this balance and i get a hint of the almond but it doesnt over power…and This is Ms Olympia perfume and Coco Mademoiselle Chanel and chanel Chance …had a 3 some and a baby was born! This is damn good!

I’ve never been particularly drawn to Elie Saab’s Le Parfum line so I avoided this one for the longest. Until now! Wow it is yummy!!! A straightforward gourmand fragrance that reminds me of nougat you’d find in the middle of a candy bar. The opening notes have something familiar to me, a note or accord I also smell in the drydown of Mugler Innocent. Wish this part lasted a bit longer. Then the creamy, smooth nutty, somewhat citrus floral heart takes over and it’s pretty linear from there. The drydown isn’t remarkable for a designer frag, but I could care less. I love it!!
I also wanna add, for anyone who likes sweet scents but maybe finds scents like Bon Bon TOO sweet and heady, don’t be afraid of this. This is sweet but it has enough lightness to balance everything out. It doesn’t wear like a thick syrup blanket like Bon Bon did on me. If you like gourmands with a bit of “air to breathe” this is a good one!
Thanks to my amazing swap partner who shared some from her own bottle with me to enjoy! Had she not I would have still avoided this one due to negative reviews stating it is too sweet, too thick etc. It comes down to your personal tolerance level for sweetness in perfume. I avoid sickly sweet scents like the flu. They make me woozy and cause me to just feel generally gross. But this isn’t that, thank goodness!!!
Will be needing a bottle asap.

too sweet, too creamy, too heavy, not worth the price

Girl of Now doesn’t really speak to me, but that’s probably no wonder: it’s been quite some years since I was a girl myself, and I suspect I would indeed have liked this one a lot more back then. The name is certainly accurate in that it’s quite a girly gourmand, not bad but quite overwhelmingly sweet – I don’t get any of the listed floral or fruity notes that could provide some contrast and some relief. On top of that, it’s rather synthetic-smelling as well. That’s a common problem with almond scents, and this one is no worse than most in that regard, but combined with that overpowering sweetness, it just doesn’t do much for my current personal taste. I don’t dislike it, but I’ll happily leave this one to the girls for whom it was meant.

I’m a hardcore Elie Saab fan.I love anything in Le Parfum line(except Nuit Noir and Resort, the blue one).I’m also an almond lover so I don’t know what took me so long to try Girl Of Now.well I tried it once when it was first released and something in it reminded me Nina Ricci Luna so I passed it,but now that I have an opportunity to test it better,I can see that I enjoy it a lot
A thick, warm, heavy and powdery sweetness hand in hand with tones of almond is there from the first second I spray it,but there’s also this bright pear note which cuts through the sweetness.I love it’s opening part.it’s pear reminds me the pear note in Katy Perry Meow, creamy and yummy
I can also detect florals,a hint of orange flower which is one of my most favorite floral notes and Elie Saab really knows how to do it well
Middle phase is a smooth and creamy tonka-almond-orange flower blend which reminds me a newly baked and still warm almond cake.after an hour or so,it dries down to something a bit less sweet, less heavily almondy with more prominent florals.it reminds me my beloved Poison Girl as it dries down
I can see that some reviews consider it a teenage perfume, not in my book,I believe it suits +20 ,even +25 years olds better,I prefer more fruity and sparkly, less heavy perfumes for a teenage but Girl Of Now is a rich, thick and heavy gourmand
I love it’s bottle but it would also be good as a part of Le Parfum range, yes they differ a lot, still it has this orange flower signature of Le Parfums
Some people may find it’s heavy powdery sweetness suffocating so don’t blindbuy it unless you’re a gourmand lover
Longevity and Sillage are great.I usually spray perfumes with a heavy hand but in this case, two sprays is more than enough
I can only think of using it in cold weather.for now,it’s something between like and love and I’d definitely buy it if I come accross a good deal
    Edit:
I love the powdery vanilla-orange flower combo of the drydown.now I can see that it’s a must have for me

What a pleasant surprise!Creative name, bottle and most importantly, the juice itself.Girl of Now has that mass-appealing sweetness, but it retains originality with gorgeous almonds and pistachio. It’s oily when applied and reminds me of JPG Scandal.Heavy sillage for the first 2 hours.Highly recommend!

I was expecting something different, unique even after reading reviews, sadly it just smells like another ‘On Trend’ fragrance, quite similar to Poison Girl. Good longevity and I could smell it everywhere after just one spritz but I’m starting to tire of the on trend fragrances now and I’m yearning for something different 🙁

  16. :

Girl of Now was a blind buy for me because the notes seemed to be right up my alley. When I first sprayed this I immediately fell deeply in love! Ugh it’s so yummy and the longevity is amazing! It’s a soft and sweet fragrance and works all year round. If you like gourmand scents like Dior’s Poison Girl, I think you will also like this and get compliments! Enjoy!

  17. :

Yeah, see this just doesn’t work for me. The blending of pear with heavier notes just comes across like Black Opium Floral Shock on me. I really disliked that. This one is much easier to take, but I still wouldn’t buy it.

To me this smells very much like Sol De Janeiro’s bum bum cream.

  19. :

I brought this as a blind buy based on a review from youtube. This is a lovely powdery scent. It is very familiar though, nothing with great personality. To me: it starts out like Good Girl from Carolina Herrera and then dries down to something that reminds me of Sunshine from Amouage. Of course, Sunshine is better but an overall very powdery and nice scent. Won’t send it back but it doesn’t stand out in my collection.

This has been done before, nothing really new about this scent, even though there is a nice twist, that is somehow different. It’s similar to poison girl, not the scent itself, just the same vibe, but I like this one better, it’s less cloying and overall a more interesting and unique scent. Good longevity and sillage. I definitely didn’t need it because I already have a lot of sweet, gourmand perfumes but I don’t regret buying girl of now because the bottle is so beautiful, perfection! I bought the 1 oz one and I will keep the bottle forever. Real quality! Prettiest perfume bottle I have ever seen.
P.s: Men love this, my husband said that I smell wonderful. It was the first time he gave such a compliment to a perfume, and I have tons.
    Delicious scent.

This is a strong perfume. Not very sweet for me, but strong. I tried it once and then bought it because it was on offer. I keep it for now as a reminder that I need to try perfumes several times before buying

Smells like marzipan to me. With a sophisticated twist. Very edible.

  23. :

So lovely of a fragrance. An earthy yet fresh element, which is a combo that is rarely achieved. There is a sweetness as well, but a very natural and unforced amount. I have yet to be let down by an Elie Saab, which is something that is rare to say for an entire brand across the board

  24. :

I got a mini bottle at the airport and I was shocked that the scent is almost exact as Roberto Cavalli EDP. It gives me a headache when I smell it on my own skin. It is not unpleasant, but be cautious as it is definitely not a girly fragrance. It’s rather heavy sweetness with great longevity.

Delightful scent of Orgeat Syrup, I love it

  26. :

    4 out of 5

It does remind me of Dior Poison Girl, a bit
Sweeter, not so girlish, but the base is almost the same to my nose.

Bought this on impulse after being stuck on it while waiting for friends to finish their purchases. I love the bottle, the prettiest perfume bottle I’ve ever seen. For me it smells like pistachio and ice cream for a long time at first, then almonds make their entrance with vanilla and tonka bean. It’s sweet but not cloyingly so and I adore it. Only got the orange blossom way after when it had faded. I don’t like patchouli and I didn’t smell any which is good

I love Elie Saab’s creations. His first perfume was (and still is) a hit. I loved window shopping his latest dresses in Beirut. Great memories.
I can agree with many comments above.
“Girl of now”: yes, still the trend is for gourmand and I would agree that a “girl” would love gourmand perfume in general. However, this one might turn easily gourmand-oriental, hence: heavy.
On my skin almond and tonka work very well. To me this frag is a success. The opening starts with a mixture of almond/tonka/pistachio. If your nose is sensitive enough, you can detect the mandarine orange among top notes but strangely enough, not as an opening but a couple of minutes later. No trace of pear from my side. Once it’s sets down, you would still smell sweet almond and tonka along with cashmere, later patchouli is also recognizable.
Reminds me very much of JPG Scandal (which work also very well on my skin).
It always comes down to individual and its chemistry: on me this is a mature scent and I got loads of compliments while wearing it (same goes for Scandal). Friends and my husband said: “this frag is simply you”. I am very pleased with Girl of now but I wouldn’t recommend it for a blind buy. If you loved Elie Saab’s first classic, chances are you would dislike Girl of now.
    Longevity: 6+
Sillage: moderate if using it in that way (to me 3 spritz). Don’t abuse of it. This is a powerful scent. Could be absolute repulsive if sprayed in great quantity.

  29. :

Bad. Bad in so many ways! After the wonderful sofistication of the first scents, Elie Saab comes up with this sticky blend of… something.
Maybe it’s the chemistry of my skin, but I smell milk that just turned bad and some flowers that started to fade and artificial almond. Good lasting power unfortunately
I agree with other reviews, the bottle and the name are misleading. If this is what a girl of now should wear, I’m happy to be the girl of yesterday

    The scent of delightful daydream.
She is such a delight, whimsical, non juvenille kinda creamy sweet. Sprayed this before bed, Woke up and the sweet smell still lingers…. what a way to wake up

I sprayed this on me in a drugstore and after that a random man said to me in the parking lot: ” your perfume smells lovely, you saved my day” 😀 It’s very sweet and heavy, smells yummy almonds and sugar.

  32. :

    5 out of 5

La vie est belle, Black Opium, Poison Girl and so on. Nothing new, nothing you haven’t smelled before. It’s an average gourmand, trying to impress in a market saturated with gourmands. There are certainly better crafted gourmands than this one, maybe keep your money for one of those.

  33. :

    3 out of 5

I blind bought a small bottle despite the ridiculous name and controversy. I’ve been wearing this for about an hour and I’m curious to find out how this smell is going to develop. I got very excited by the supersweet initial blast but it tones down quite fast and right now I smell something almost identical to The Body Shop Wild Argan, sun-tanny and.. something burnt? Quite unusual. I definitely like it but don’t know if I’ll grow to love it.
Edit, about 3 hours later: I’m extremely disappointed. This bores me and its
longevity is a joke, especially for a perfume in this price range.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

Almonds and cream with pistashios and flowers in a grown up perfume that doesn´t reflect the name at all. A bit heavy even after just one spray. The bottle -love it! Fantastic design that looks expensive in every detail. Wish I had a necklace for the summer like the turqouise one on the bottle.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

Lancome´s La vie est belle had an intense night with Joop´s Homme! (pink bottle)and produced this loud sugary girl. She is a starlet, not pretty not ugly, immature, lots of make up, not much real education but money, partying hard at age 16…She is the girl of now.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

A bottle appreciation review. I don’t have much to say about the scent, other than to me it smells expensive, albeit sweet to the point of being cloying. I love it (bought a full bottle). And oh that bottle! It is absolutely stunning – clearly, they put effort into designing the bottle, it’s heavy, it sits well in the hand, and it looks and feels expensive and luxurious. I feel like people rave about Aura bottle – and it’s actually not pretty in real life and poorly designed, while this one is not talked about enough. The cap closes smoothly, the gold/light turquoise colour combo is sophisticated, the ridges on the bottom allow a better grip when being held. It’s such a shame this is not refillable! I’ve put all of my other scents away from my vanity table and just left this one sit there.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

    Uniqueness – 3/10
    Longevity – 5/10
    Sillage – 4/10
    Value for money – 5/10
I feel like this is Elie Saab’s ironic musing on the sense of phrase “Girl of now”. The vibe I get from this fragrance is kinda like ‘let’s give them almonds; almonds are soooo in now. then sugar, lots of sugar, everyone wants to smell like a candy these days… EUREKA! sugared almonds! let’s also put some pistachios on top and nobody’s gonna notice how generic it is”.
“Girl of now” jumped on the bandwagon of sweet tonka bean fragrances a bit too late and loses the battle to Black Opium and La Vie Est Belle.
Although, a good gift idea for a teenage girl! Cute bottle and nothing too complex that would abuse young inexperienced noses. Longevity is about 4-5h on my skin and about 6h on fabrics.
PS The name of this fragrance is just an ageist joke.

  38. :

Saab was one of the few brands not to fall into the gourmandish-tonka-vanilla black hole.
    Untill now.
The lost of beauty between their fantastic orange-jasmine-honey first perfume and the last one makes me feel so sad.

  39. :

    4 out of 5

This, to me, is on the same boat with La Vie Est Belle, Dior Hypnotic Poison or YSL Black Opium. Not that it smells similar, it doesn’t, but it gives me the same vibes.
I love this on my GF’s skin, the almond is amplified and the sweetness toned down, so it becomes this sexy gourmandish fashinating smell. Damn this is good!

  40. :

    5 out of 5

Strangely, I barely pick up any almond here – just overpowering white sugar (can’t believe that’s not listed in the notes!), a hint of dry/sour patchouli and a strange minty toothpaste note. After about 10 minutes I start getting little flashes of juicy pear. There is an odd, fluffy, back-of-the-throat feeling I get when sniffing this deeply, which I imagine may be coming from the cashmeran.
I’ve never smelled cashmeran in isolation – can anyone describe it? Is it similar to Iso E Super in adding body rather than a distinct aroma?
EDIT after an hour, the almond emerges quite strongly but remains overshadowed by a sweet, honey note. The juicy freshness remains.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

Blind buy mistake, a fruity floral nightmare on me. So sweet and overpowering. Holy cow.
EDIT: Gave this to my best friend and she wears it well. Smells completely different on her. Proving that what is one woman’s rubish is another’s treasure.

  42. :

    3 out of 5

Expected something completely different from a scent with “girl” in its name. In contrast to my expectations, this fragrance seemed to be the most “grown up” of all Elie Saab scents. Although the main notes are rather generic, I guess it’s almond that makes Girl Now unique with its tender bitterness. As somebody pointed out, Amaretto is what you think of, almost with a light “milky” (almond milk, is that you?) drydown. Beware that the fragrance is extremely overpowering and definitely more long lasting than many others, so you need to be humble with spraying.

  43. :

    3 out of 5

Oh my god, I am in love! This is what I wanted from Posion Girl. The almond overwhelms the pistachio at first, but 30 minutes in I am smelling pistachio ice cream with sugar icing on top. This is soft and loud, fluffy and heavy at the same time. I just got a bottle, but I already need a back up.

  44. :

    3 out of 5

Okay.. This perfume is.. Intense! I bought a 100ml blind, which I advise no one do. So strong and potent..! The first few minutes I feel suffocated in a sweet cloying cloud of amaretto and syrup..
I think I finally found the meaning of unbearably sweet when it comes to fragrance. I bought this because of all the creamy talk, and I have to say.. I dont find this creamy at all.
When I think creamy, I think airy and dreamy.. Not heavy and rich. Which is what girl of now is. An hour later and suddenly im wearing an almondy, cupcake scented lipstick perfume… How did this happen?
From syrupy booze to a powdery bomb of lipstick and cupcakes.. Im enjoying this fragrance, but im not sure I have a place for it in my collection.. I will know by the end of the day im sure. Edit: I swapped it!~

  45. :

Wow, I knew I was intrigued by this just glancing at the notes, but after testing this today I discovered that this is better than anything I could have imagined.
Girl of Now wafts the most gorgeous sillage and despite being a fairly linear fragrance, I can’t help but bury my nose into my wrist. Marzipan, spun sugar, freshly baked macadamia cookies, pistachio gelato… a heavenly, creamy, sweet nutty aroma that reminds me of Hypnotic Poison with amplified almond and coconut. Absolutely MOUTHWATERING!

    Okay guys
I was really worried buying this depend only on the notes.. coz I have never smelled anything from elie saab that WOWed me
    I am 25 y old
And i feel his lines fits older women that I am
Anyways when i first sprayed this on my hand I got smile on my mouth .. I smell good waves … yeah
When I sniffed it I was oooh that’s GOOOOOOD
OHHH SHIIIIT THATVIS POISOOOOON GIRL ( INTENSE )
seriously guys if they wold make intense version of poison girl like noir or le parfum it would be girl of now
As I am not note expert I wanted to see if there really similarties
    And hell yeah !!
It shares most of the notes !!!
Actually it lasts longer maube better sillage as I said ( intense version )
    But 0 UNIQUNESS
So should u buy this or not ?
If u ask me .. if u tested poison girl ( edp version )
    U better buy this one
Coz edp poison girl does NOT perform very well
But if u already have poison girl ..
U do not pay money to repeat the scent n get urself unique one ( unless u r a collector ofc )
    Final rates

Feel very much like I’m wearing LVEB Intense when I put this on, anyone else feel the same? I already have a full bottle of that so even though I like this I don’t think I’ll end up buying it.

  50. :

So almond seems to be the new trend as I see it a lot lately in perfumes. Also there’s a new trend here in fragrantica to give lots of hates to the new perfumes launched. There might be exceptions, but most new perfumes get lots of hate here and so does girl of now.
So is girl of now a masterpiece? no and it doesn’t claim to be so, but I think it’s a nice almond perfume. At one stage (like ten minutes after applying) it smells like divine almond, but quickly turns to a sweet praline scent.
It smells very sweet and slightly bitter. I don’t get any pistachio, but definitely lots of almond. I see similarities with Donna Acqua. Also maybe in the concept similarities with poison girl too. But if you ever wanted to choose between this one and poison girl, don’t hesitate to go for dior for the sake of better project and long lasting power.
At last but not least, I’m really not a fan of the bottle.

  51. :

This is a very comforting scent! It is a healthy, soft, gentle but very long lasting fragrance. She doesn’t try to compete with poison girl, mon paris, etc. She stays true to herself and is a contented, well-loved character. Not in the least bit slutty. Provocative in a healthy, cultured way.
She’s not the type who clamours for attention and struggles for fame; but she’s the type who gets it anyway. The type that a man wants to protect and nurture, not because he wants to fuck her; but because he wants to take care of her.

  52. :

    4 out of 5

I had high hopes for this, unfortunately after a pretty pleasant start this turns very cloying very fast…and as most cloying scents this is also very long lasting *shudders*

  53. :

I am glad i tested this one. I get very sweet almonds followed by a sweet, clean, sensual, soft and cozy smell. It smells expensive and elegant but at the same time it is fun and childlike. An amazing combination! The freshness of the almonds also give it a very uplifting feel. It also has a very discreet powdery touch that is very nice.
This perfume is clean but not soapy. Fresh but sweet too. Appropriated for carefree but chic spirits of all ages.
i would recommend wearing it on cold sunny days.
    Final note: 10/10

Never, ever, ever, ever judge a book by its cover.
The packaging of this fragrance is so reminiscent (ha!) of Marc Jacobs Daisy with the cutesy flowers and the somewhat theatrical petal detailing, that I was immediately uninterested. I loathe Daisy and all her offspring. Get out of my face, basic-ass shampoo-scent non-perfume!!! GET BACK!!!
I went to the fragrance store (intending to buy Mon Guerlain, by the way, because I wanted something I can define as “creamy”). The lady at the store put this on my wrist, and… hello, ambrosia!
MY WORD, this is so goddamn creamy I can’t take it. It’s just so smooooooooth! And deeeeeeeep! And rouuuuuuund! But somehow, LIGHT!!! What kind of sorcery is this? It’s like a veil… made of whipped cream… but warm whipped cream! Or like the scent of baking meringues with flower petals strewn across the kitchen. Or like… if you were floating in amaretto mist in a white dress. What am I even saying? (Aside: the mark of a real beauty is when you can’t quite find the right words to describe it, I think.) It’s absolutely heavenly. It’s sweet, too, but not like something you can eat, which usually would be the death-knell for a sweet fragrance for me. I want a pseudo-gourmand, more for my nose than for my tongue, you know?
Damn it, you guys. Most of the world’s malls have been smelling like some La Vie Est Belle/Flowerbomb/Coco Mademoiselle hybrid for like ten years now. Can we please please please make this the scent of the next ten??? Please. I could LIVE in a bubble of this for my whole life, it’s just so enjoyable.
I wouldn’t say it has an age, really. Not terribly juvenile, nor too mature. Just soft and feminine and gorgeous. ‘Girl’ is the wrong word. “Girl of Now” is actually just a terrible name overall. It kind of sounds like a young adult diary-novel. They could easily have marketed this as Le Parfum L’eau Tendre or some such. Then we would have got a more elegant bottle, too.
*shrugs* I accidentally bought the big 90ml bottle anyway har har so it’s all good!
p.s. Longevity is unbelievable. Seriously, what is going on? This stuff is bananas, b-a-n-a-n-a-s! It’s been 5 hours and no signs of letting up. I still smell like a miracle. I’d say sillage is arm’s length, maybe more? Not filling the room, but certainly filling the car with creamy, airy goodness.

I was so eager to try this perfume since I’m a fan of what Elie Saab make. To begin with, the name doesn’t match the content of this perfume IMHO, it’s definetly for ladies over 30’s (and I’m one of them lol). I was with my sister when we tried it and she kept telling me that she smelled it before, I kept sniffing my wrist until I figured that it resembles to Eden by Cacharel which is btw an old but very classy perfume that is underrated.
I think “girl of now” is a new but different from the known Elie Saab perfumes and will be a hit for a large range of women.

Thanks to a lovely member on here for the opportunity to try this little beauty. I think this is very well done….great quality. I really love the almond in this one! It lasts for hours on my skin but I think that’s due to the patchouli giving it a great anchor. All in all, I don’t feel it’s a juvenile scent…only the name.

Almond in perfumes didn’t start with L’ Eau Couture either, Organza used nuts in its composition and almond is intrinsically linked to Hypnotic Poison, the main accord with a boozy vanilla and is also a main note in Jasmin Noir along with jasmin and liquorice.
Girl of Now usage of almond on my skin is puerile, a juvenile Hypnotic Poison without depth or personality. And when the almond dies out (in the 2 hour mark in my skin) it becames a badly made copycat of LVEB.

Ok let’s get one thing straight here… almond notes in a perfume was NOT started.by Black Opium, Elie Saab brought out L’eau Couture EDP with obvious as daylight almond notes just before Black Opium was released. Black Opium is all coffee and vanilla on the nose, L’eau Couture is like almond central.
Girl Of Now is in the same vein as L’eau Couture with that lightness to it but this has more of a pep and freshness about it… you’re either going to love it or hate it. Elie Saab perfumes are so strange on me in that most of them bar 1 or 2 don’t work on my skin…. I’m cursed I tell you!! 🙁
Silage wise it’s not going to enter a room before you do but you don’t need someone to be all up in your neck to smell it… thank god!

Seeing the notes and the rave and the reviews, I thought this perfume would be something I’d fall in love with. The notes are nutty and dreamy, sounds like all my favorites in one.
For some reasons, the reality check on my skin results in this juice to remind me of the sharper version of Viva La Juicy Sucre. Just sharp almond and lotsa sugar.

My fiancée recently discovered “Girl of Now” – I absolutely love it. “Girl” might be a little misleading as I would state that it has the potential that covers women of all ages. Even though it is a new fragrance with a modern twist “Girl of Now” have all the qualities of a true classic. It is elegant, rich and non intrusive. It has a long “life” and yet it is not agressive when initially applied. Furthermore it has the rare quality of being equally elegant, seductive and romantic – one at the time or all at once. I would put it among the top-10 perfumes for women produced within the last 35 years and can only hope that Elie Saab will continue the production.

I smelled this 2 times already at the perfume store and I am in love!!! It smells like sweet delicious almonds. I want to lick myself haha. It has a slight similarity with Poison Girl not Hypnotic Poison. I like the bottle and can’t wait to have in in my collection.

@Julie How is a new release of a sweet perfume oppressing women and forcing them to wear only girly candy sweet scents? I swear some people get triggered by just about anything.

On my skin I didn’t love it at all. First, it resembled Hypnotic Poison with a more juvenile vanilla, but still it was interesting. But later on my skin it lost the almond/pistachio nuttiness and become a VERY sweet ordinary fragrance.Very common, very unlike Francis K.At least it lasts for 8/9 hours with moderate sillage for 2/3 hours , so performance-wise it is good.

This is definitely the girl of now, smelling clean, fresh and creamy. I love it! The longevity is wow, the scent is different from anything else I have smelled before, the bottle is remarkable, best almond fragrance ever! Can´t wait to get full size bottle of it!
Really can´t understand the many dislikes here, I guess it´s normal for new releases to be disliked at first and appreciated later.

I don’t see a girl from nowadays here. It is not like all other perfumes. It has a different approach. It is almond-minty and refreshing.
The opening is fruity and zesty with some traces of pistachios. Then, in a few minutes, the composition becomes refreshing and minty. Maybe the mi
