A thing of beauty. Amid my relentless search for this discontinued beauty, two amazing fragranticans came to my rescue with an oil rollerball, and a spray sample. Thanks so much! I will be treasuring every drop!
Now my review… It’s a thrilling musky, slightly herbal honey. Skank, for sure, but it’s completely feminine and I would wear it anywhere.
I do think this will be on the heavy side for extreme heat. But I will have this in regular rotation… Carefully as to preserve my precious… In cooler months.
Full disclosure, this review is not based on a full wearing, but on a swipe of the oil one night, and a spritz of the spray the next night. I’ll add to it as I continue to experience this scent.

Oh the musk on this thing! I definitely didn’t expect this to be THAT musky; funny that some thought Miel de Bois (Serge) was funky

Realistic Beehive, pollen and bees included.
Gimel a Break has a very dry feel to its opening. On me, the woods (vetiver maybe ?) and patchouli are really strong in the first hour.
The honey and beeswax combo dominates the whole fragrance for sure, but it’s not pissy or acidic like some honey notes can be. The slight musky facet comes from the musk (probably muscone) which is Brent Leonesio signature : it’s the same musk you can find in Commando and Horny Little Devil for example.
What I like most about this fragrance is that it’s a honey based chypre, at least to me : I smell moss and vetiver, the patchouli is earthy and the sweetness of honey balances out the overall dryness. The jasmine is non-existent on me, which was a bummer…
Overall I like this fragrance a lot, but I can’t see myself going through a full bottle. My 5ml decant is enough for now !

Smells like a honeyed over stinky bathroom. Very different this is and strong. I guess it’s the musk. It is reminiscent of glandular sweat.
Waiting for others to comment. Not sure if I like it or not.
update: I have tried it a couple of times and the stinky at the first goes away after a couple of minutes and it is mostly a honey jasmine smell. It is interesting
