This is a nice fruity fragrance. I only wear this in winter as in the summer it ends up smelling like b.o on my skin.

Bought it last weekends. Ghost perfumes have always been hard to find at the place I live so I decided to buy once I spotted it for only $9. I definitely smell the cranberry and appreciate it doesn’t twist into body spray or something. nevertheless it smells like I wore Pure poison yesterday and shampooed my hair this morning)
I haven’t developped any associations with it but I definitely will)

Quite a sweet, floral fragrance but very generic and not particularly special. Lasts a maximum of 15 minutes and is generally, in my experience, just not worth paying for unfortunately.

    Absolutely nauseating.
Two lovely girls I worked with years ago wore this and I used to feel dizzy and sick every time I worked a shift with them.
It is only one of two fragrances ever to have had this affect on me, (the other being Thierry Mugler Womanity) until I smelt Avon Femme recently which is very similar.
Obviously this is just my personal reaction, don’t let it stop you from testing it.
I love the original Ghost fragrance.

how could anyone say this is boring?
What a beautiful scent, captivating…. reminds me of my favourite.. Dior pure poison there is something aromatic and delicious about this scent… very pretty, long lasting on me and luxurious – you can’t go wrong.. I am wearing this on a warm Spring day in London and every time a little breeze blows by I am reminded of how yummy I smell.

This is a really pretty, powdery scent. It reminds me of talc. It’s perfect for the times that my usual favourites (Hypnotic Poison & Angel) are just too strong and, some might say, aggressive.

I forgot just how much I loved this perfume, I am on the hunt to buy some more. Having just squirted the last remnants I am being reminded of why I bought this beautiful perfume. As the first poster said, it is indeed timeless, ageless, well blended and balanced perfume. Perfect for everyday wear and could even layer it with possibly an oriental? perfume for the evening to bring out it’s more mature deeper base notes.
Having worn the original Ghost religiously in my early twenties, and Ghost cherish being slightly younger one- dimensional citrusy smell, methink it’s time to rehash Ghost Anticipation. Definitely smells ‘new’ all over again.

Verry lovely fragrance reminds me of Pure Poison but sweeter. Lasting power is good and I find it perfect for summer. If you love orange blossoms and sweet perfumes you might like it, I LOVE it!

I was not thrilled when I got Anticipation as a gift. I liked some of their fragrances, but not enough to actually go and make a purchase. I dont think I even tried Anticipation when it was still available in perfume stores (it’s really hard to get it right now).
And yet it proved such a pleasant surprise that inspired this review.
Anticipation is a romantic floral. To my nose, it is a fantastic peony with the addiction of delicate violets and freesia. A joyful, vibrant bouquet of flowers that makes your mornings brighter. There is a little bit of sweetness coming from vanilla here, but overally, the fragrance is not sticky, but toned down, sparkling (yes, toned down and sparkling at the same time), romantic. Cranberry adds some juiciness to it, adding a touch of something that I would not exactly call tart, but a sort of sharpness. Sorry, Im not very good with words today:)
I don’t think the ad for the perfume really does it justice- Ghost is definitely not a brand that spends a lot of money on marketing. For this one, I wosh they did a better job, because it is easy not to notice the bottle, while it certainly is worth trying out.

I bought this untested – it had been on my test list for quite some time. Most of the notes listed usually agree with me, and Lily Cole is one of my favorite models, so when I found the gift set cheap online and needed some shopping therapy, I thought “why not?” I’m not even sure what I expected, but never would I have guessed that it would be just the fragrance I had searched for for such a long time!
See, this is exactly how I thought Pure Poison would smell on me, before its jasmine overload proved me wrong. And the two actually have a lot of notes in common, so I’m not completely off there.
It opens with sparkly, juicy citrus and berries, without a hint of green anywhere. I agree with Lillybee – there can’t possibly be any vanilla in here. Instead, it unfolds as a mature, feminine, well-balanced floral, with a seductive, slightly oriental white amber base. Come spring, I’m planning on moving into this fragrance and living there happily ever after.

on first spraying, this smelt quite pleasant but once dried became sickly sweet.after sometime the sweetness faded leaving a fresh floral fragrance.not bad.

Im surprised no one else has this (or has bothered to review it). Anticipation is beautiful. Here is the description:
Feel the heady anticipation of the night ahead filled with adventure and fun with the sparkling new fragrance from GHOST. Dazzling top notes of cranberries, blood mandarin and violet create a fresh, fruity luminous accord to awaken the senses. Rich floral bouquets of peony, orange flower and mauve freesia envelop a sensual secret: the irresistibly addictive scent of “Chocolate Lovers” Orchid – a heart-stirring, mouth-watering, utterly scrumptious fragrance reminiscent of chocolate with a hint of vanilla.
It is a soft sparkling bouquet of flowers, rich but not too heady or overpowering, sweet but not sickeningly cloying. I just loved this fromthe second I sprayed it. It’s not totaly groundbreaking, but it really is lovely and I think its a scent that could be used by a young girl as well as an older woman, it transcends age, its seems just timeless to me. I am not usually a fan of all out florals, but this has just enough fruits in it to give it a kick of something extra. The fruits are seductively lingering in the background and then in the base there is a very delicious and oh so subtle blend of white amber, white woods and vanilla. Its very subtle but it lends the sparkling blend a bit of depth, but I also love it because I think it’s quite a unique drydown – the vanilla is not the most obvious thing you smell, in fact I can hardly smell it. Its just perfect. I would wear this on a first date.

A well-blended, balanced perfume, timeless, ageless, not seeking to provoke but not too shy either. A modern, fresh, clean floral. There’s no vanilla in the base, it is composed of blond woods and white amber.
