I can’t find this anywhere. It sounds so perfect. If any kind soul would be willing to part with a sample I would pay handsomely and be ever so grateful!

This is a wonderful fragrance! I don’t understand why carnation is so neglected in the world of perfumery! This smells just like a faceful of sweet perennial carnations! I think there is a slight emphasis on thee clove here, it’s a spicy carnation, no pale thing that one would smell at a florist’s shop.

Nothing but carnations, (carnations are spiced up with clove), a hint of vanilla and rose underneath: sweet and enjoyable, maybe just a bit flat. For the lovers of spicy florals among us. Longlasting, good price, wearable in every season.
Very nice, one of the best soliflore from L’erbolario. Sadly carnation is a neglected flower so this product is hard to find because did not sell: people say it smells funereal, of course they never have had this lovely fragrant flower on their balcony and never have listened to love songs such as A Marechiare.
(I’ve also tried Dianthus by Etro, more gracious and ethereal, but Garofano is more realistic, spicier and stronger)

I’ve tried it some years ago and I found it a bit too strong perfume with a lot of clove (spice) ,I didn’t like it so much.
