Description
The new collection by Lalique was named LALIQUE NOIR PREMIER. It encompasses 6 fragrances with timeless character, creating the bridge between past and presence. Their names are: Elegance Animale, Fleur Universelle, Fruits du Mouvement, Rose Royale, Sculpteur d`Epices and Terres Aromatiques. Next to the name, each fragrance features a year crucial for Lalique history.
Fruits du Mouvement 1977 is the fragrance marking the year when Marie-Claude Lalique took over the control of the company and refreshed it with femininity and modernism. She was in charge of design renewal and introduction of lighter and softer colors into collections. As artist and sculptor, she both a live bird and studied her movements to create her first crystal creation – dove. The fragrance dedicated to her is envisaged as floral-fruity with a woody drydown. The composition starts with black pepper, mandarin and ginger. The heart includes fruity scents, jasmine absolute and plums, while the base closes with cashmeran, amber and sandalwood.
Fruits du Mouvement was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is Violaine Collas.

Ginger amber plums.
Fruitti sweet amberic boozy blend that turns to amberic sweet chocolate. It begins sweet fruitti and stays like this for a while then goes sweet yet boozy chocolate with light amber. A soft cashmere, & soft jasmines softens the blend quite well!
Quite a complex blend that creates a sensual vibe somehow! I get the naughty resin that i find in “Bello Rabello” by Les Liquides Imaginaires with big doses of chocolate. Impressive.

This scent has oriental philosophy. It’s thick, fruity, sweet, fresh spicy and it will shine in fall and spring. It’s not very heavy so it would be also nice for cool summer evenings. It leans to feminine scents clearly but for an arab man it could be an every day casual fruity scent.
Dominant notes are : a big abstract sweet fruity note with something caramelized in it, mild plum, beautiful natural smelling jasmin which is choked into the fruity sweetness, still noticeable but not as it should be. The fruitness is stronger than the sweetness, this scent is not overly sweet. There is also a spicy freshness from the mild mandarin, the faint ginger and the pepper which are at the background. The rest notes are very mild. At the late dry down it’s more noticeable the cashmeran.
The projection is heavy for half an hour. The sillage is moderate. The longevity is high-moderate, about 6 hours but most of its life is a skin scent. You must stick your nose on your skin to feel it.
Overall it’s a wonderful feminine scent but it should be less expensive because the vibe from it, is very familiar and common and its performance isn’t the best.

Disappointed – The opening is an artificial and synthetic tutti frutti – plum – jasmine accord. As the perfume develops in your skin, this melange gets more balanced, but that’s all. Why?

For a few dollars more…just get MFK Lumiere pour femme
MFK is waaaaaay classier to my nose.
FantoMax2 – :
A hot, sweet fruit. Uncommon once you are familiar with her. But you better get to to know her quick; you’ve got time for one drink, then she’s gone!
I like her anyway, for the trace of sweet heat she leaves.

it’s nice..but then the price point is rather unsettling. It is not unique enough for me to justify paying premium price while i could probably get something very similar at a much lower price.

The opening wasn’t hugely impressive – almost generic.
In the dry down I get that heedy jasmine I love so much but it’s tinged with something metallic, which spoilt it for me, sadly.

this reminds me of this two up there i suggest ☝
Rakiguica – :
warm and sweet, I smell peaches.
Unfortunaly it doesn’t stay on my skin and wears off after half an hour.

The composition opens with a playful mandarin note which is accompanied by luscious apricot. Together the two begin the fragrance with a vitality and earnestness which accompanies the hope a new day brings. Subtle albeit essential black pepper and ginger root marry well with the juicy fruit-filled accord. The piquant black peppercorn adds further liveliness and vigor while ginger imparts lemony-like facets. Slowly the scent of another stone fruit emerges, that of the plum. Its sweet, nectar-laden scent is embellished with indolic jasmine absolute. The usual heady quality of jasmine is tamed by the aforementioned accompanying fruit notes. It is soft, restrained and unabashedly feminine. As the arrangement dries down, a warm crystalline amber rises and creates the sensation of sugarcoated candied fruit. Sandalwood and cashmere woods help conclude the fragrance in an embracing woody accord.
‘Fruits du Mouvement’ is yet another stunning perfume from the “Noir Premier” collection by Lalique. It is hard to resist the beauty within this modern fruity-floral masterpiece. Women of all ages will enjoy wearing it, as the fragrance immediately enhances one’s mood and demeanor. It seems suitable for daytime wearing, and appears especially striking when worn in spring and summer. The heat and humidity of the warmer months of the year are appropriately suited to help diffuse the intoxicating jasmine absolute. Sillage, projection and longevity appear to be above average. If one is looking for a new charismatic scent to own and wear, you must look no further than to Lalique’s ‘Fruits du Mouvement’; one of my favorites from the line.
