Description

Ungaro launches Lilac, the new fragrance from the Fruit d’Amour collection. The collection, presented in 2015, originally consisted of three editions: Gold, Pink and Green. Fruit d’Amour Lilac is inspired by fairytale motives of enchanted fruit and attraction potions. It is created for a woman with a hypnotic personality and seductive style.

The composition is made to be delicious and fruity, opening with raspberry enhanced by blueberry liquor and exotic Indian wormwood. Its heart is said to be a rich bouquet of deep magnetism, with irresistible black velvet orchid, a thorny and provocative rose and patchouli. The base ends with sweet caramel, amber, benzoin and cashmere wood notes.

A round, apple – shaped bottle is colored in soft pastel violet hues, decorated with the golden cap of baroque details. Ungaro Fruit d’Amour Lilac is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Fruit d’Amour Lilac was launched in 2016.

I have a bad experience with fruit d’amour line of ungaro.I did a wrong choice(I should have chosen pink one instead of gold)but it didn’t stop me testing the new one:lilac
I didn’t know it’s notes and I was expecting to smell a powdery floral scent of lilac and some other purple flowers but I was surprised with a sweet and playful floral fruitygourmand.I’m a gourmand lover but my taste in perfume totally changes according to seasons and shifts from gourmands to musky florals in spring and summer.that warm, sunny spring day felt like the worst time for trying that syrupy sweet scent but strangely it worked well and made me add it to my wantlist!
It opens as a sweet fruitchouli.I like that I can really smell blueberry and that patchouli isn’t intense or dirty.it just accompanies raspberry and blueberry for a short while and vanishes as powdery flowers kick in.flower notes are so pretty here and make me think of lip gloss.
Drydown is still sweet but in a creamy, less sharp way with a soft veil of powder.caramel is a dominant note but it doesn’t cover other ingredients.it’s a very modern and youthful scent but warm powdery quality gives it a more adult feminine vibe.I like it’s sweet and interesting scent but what made me really want to have it was it’s impressive longevity and sillage considering it’s price(100mil about 45$,50 mil 30$)

I guess it’s called lilac for the color of the bottle. There is no lilac in this blend for sure. This scent is directed at the fans of La vie est belle, because it’s similar in terms of sweetness and general composition: fruits + sugary notes + patchouli. I would say the main difference is that Fruit d’Amour Lilac is less sweet and more fruity. Still, far too sweet and one dimensional.

This one sounds lovely if you like sweet and fruity fragrances but where is the lilac?
