The best one of the line I think.It smell like clean laundry and vanilla, sound weird but it works. I would wear it if it did’nt gave me massive headache like the entire Lavanilla line does. I don’t know the kind of vanilla they use but it doesn’t agree with me! Still it smell fantastic…

I dont get all the love for this. Its like water. Its doesnt last 10 min. I got it for about $10 & still feel ripped off. This is not perfume. Its not even body spray. I tried Pure vanilla as well & its total crap as well. Im done with this company.

Soft lemon cake, as many others have stated. I love it for its simplicity and to me it smells mouth watering, if that’s even a thing. It’s not really that typical gourmand scent though, it’s natural smelling. Sadly it doesn’t last very long on the skin. Slightly sweet yet fresh, and it is definitely safe for work.

Like others have said it’s a creamy/cake like lemon vanilla. Very soft sillage and lasts about 4 hours on my skin but it’s a skin scent the whole time. Really simple and easy to wear. Good for the office or any casual daytime.
I got this for $7 at TJ Maxx/Homegoods – really happy with it.

I like it. It’s not citrus. Not heavy vanilla. It’s kind of fresh vanilla. Like lemon cake or something.
But I am not sure it would be okay in warm weather. It stays 2~3 hours on my skin.

A beautiful lemon-vanilla scent. It’s very simple and sweet. The vanilla keeps it a warmer sort of scent, while the lemons sort of spice it up a little and give it a nice fresh kick. It can work in either summer or winter, but on me I prefer cooler months for vanillas.
I can’t love this one though, even though the scent is so nice. Out of the Lavanilas I’ve tried this one has the weakest longevity – about an hour to two.

Fresh Vanilla Lemon only smells like sweet, sweet sugar on me with the tiniest hints of vanilla and lemon, the former moreso than the latter. I also get a slight gag reflex when I first put this on. However, I like it regardless; it’s a cute scent fit for the spring and summer. Sillage is minimal, while longevity is a little short of moderate, but that’s understandable given the lack of certain preservatives.

Separately, I love vanilla and lemon scents. I thought together it would be good.
This does not work for me. The lemon came through sour and tart. No sweetness or light, crisp scent. Just very angry, loud lemons.
The Vanilla Grapefruit, on the other hand, smells divine on me & is my favorite of this line (although I still have yet to try the Vanilla Spice).

I was surprised to not see cedar as note in this..it certainly smells like it on me. That said, the bamboo+vanilla+lemon fails with my skin, although I really like other things in this line. It must be that their version of vanilla doesn’t play with citrus in my nose, because the only other thing by them I dislike as intesnsly is the Vanilla Grapefruit.

Like a lemon cake, citrusy sweet with a lot of sugar and vanilla. Still it is fairly gentle and not too strong, so it isn’t overwhelming or too cloying. The bamboo is an odd bit of green fresh in the middle and comes off a bit odd, doesn’t really blend as well with the scent. I cant make up my mind if the bamboo works or not. Good for casual wear or the office if you want something sweet enjoyed just for you. Sillage is rather skin level so it won’t overpower coworkers. Lasts about three hours.

Love this. Smells like delicious creamy lemon meringue. Very bright and tart lemon at first, but not overbearing. Around 30 mins later on the drydown a soft vanilla comes out and the lemon fades away. Even a few hours later it has a slight sweet vanilla scent, but not like the deeper vanilla scent you get with Vanilla Coconut, Vanilla Summer or Vanilla Passionfruit.
The lemon seems to brighten up the leftover vanilla scent. It is the shortest lasting of all the Lavanila fragrances, after around 2.5 hours I had a hard time discerning any scent at all. It’s nice while it lasts though.
It is remarkably similar to DKNY Sweet Delicious Creamy Meringue, which is more of a brighter lemon with a creamy base. It seems to last a tad longer and it truly smells like creamy lemon until it fades away around 5 hours later.. (now sold at Kohl’s)

Smells a bit like Light Blue, but better IMO. Light Blue has a horrible metallic dry down on me for some reason, but this one does not. I have found my spring fragrance. Very happy with it.

In the opening notes, Fresh Vanilla Lemon smells sweet and somewhat gourmand – I get the lemon cake vibe that others have talked about. However, this phase doesn’t last too long on my skin. The fragrance quickly develops into a softer blend of lemon, vanilla and bamboo. It’s only lightly sweet, and it’s not tart either. It has a soft, airy, crisp quality.
I do get the references to Light Blue – it’s like LB mixed with a warm vanilla base. I imagine this fragrance smells like what you would get if you combined Light Blue and Lavanila’s Pure Vanilla. This is easily the most refreshing scent from the Lavanila line, and it’s also one of few vanilla fragrances out there that I expect would wear well in hot weather.

An initial burst of lemon, freshness that yes, is just like Light Blue. In no time at all the lemon fades and I get a powdery floral and vanilla. Beautiful fragrance, just so lovely.

I smell the sweet lemon flavoring, the vanilla, and the rich mellow powdery cake.
It’s a simple fragrance, but extremely delicious. It’s a different take on the lemon perfumes on the market. While I love the fresh, clean lemon scents and the tart, juicy notes that are often found in lemon perfumes, it’s extremely nice to find a gourmand lemon that is pillowy soft and sweet.
So since I did read some of the previous reviews, I feel inclined to mention, this does not smell like Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue on my skin at all. However, I do like to mix it with Light Blue! I’ll put Light Blue all over, then a few choice spots of Fresh Vanilla Lemon. Really nice, fresh, and sweet combination!

As weird as this is going to sound…Fresh Vanilla Lemon’s drydown is so much like Mark Jewel that I thought maybe I had sprayed the wrong bottle at Sephora! I went back and tested again. Sure enough, after the (lovely, I might add!) lemon top notes fade, I was left with a very powdery vanilla floral–smelled an awful lot like the lilies in Jewel. This was sort of a disappointment, since I already have Jewel, but I guess I can save myself the $ and use my Bath & Body Works Lemon Vanilla lotion layered with Jewel EDP and get the same effect.
It has pretty good throw and lasted at least a couple of hours on my skin.

On me this starts off with a nice fresh lemon and sweet fruity scent. It dries down fairly quickly on me. In the first few hours it smells more like a lemon tart to me but after that it is all a yummy fluffy vanilla lemon cake on me! I love gourmand scents so for me this is a winner! It lasts about 10 to 12 hours on me and can be smelled by people walking by me. I love it!
I have smelled D&G Light Blue MANY times and on me it does not work. It almost has a sporty masculine scent on me. So there is no similarity in these two scents on my skin. I know on some people it does. I did blind buy this, but I really suggest you try it on your skin before you purchase it.

I was hoping this would be a cheap alternative to Creed’s Sublime Vanille, but it’s really not even close. It’s sharp and sour, and there’s no vanilla in it at all on my skin. I was extremely disappointed with this one, and tossed out my rollerball without even finishing it because I couldn’t find anybody else who wanted it.

This doesn’t smell like Light Blue on me at all, but like a luscious lemon meringue pie. Yum. Tart lemon and creamy vanilla – it smells exactly as I’d hoped! And lasts quite a long time on me as well. Doesn’t change much, but in this case, that’s a good thing. 🙂

I recently bought this from sephora but ended up sending it back.It smells very nice but it smells like a natural version of light blue which I already own.Vanilla lemon is sparkling and very fresh and sweet.It is not as long lasting as the other lavanila fragrances but this is a good choice for someone that likes to use more natural products.Even though I really liked this scent I love my light blue better.You can smell citrus fruits and bamboo very watery and clean.Then the vanilla comes in very sweet.I think that it needed some sort of a woodsy note with the vanilla to help ground the scent.I would not call this a gourmand fragrance but a watery sweet citrus.You wont smell like lemon pie or pudding.A very good natural lemon fragrance.If you already have light blue I wouldn’t bother purchasing this unless your wanting to go more natural.It is a very breezy summery beach type of scent and another well done fragrance by lavanila.I’m hoping they do an orange dreamsicle fragrance I would buy that for sure!
