Warm, syrupy, spiced fruitiness (peaches, pineapple) reminds me a little of Biagiotti’s Venezia, only here the sweetness is much toned down and counterbalanced by a wallop of bitter galbanum. Galbanum haters, pass this one by! My classics-loving nose is finding the contrast of warm/syrupy/fruity with bitter/balsamic/chypre elements quite interesting, however. Doesn’t remind me of Coco Mad at all; that perfume is screechily citrus on me and more modern in feel.
Ingredients smell high quality. Longevity is not stellar but not terrible either. Often found for bargain prices on ebay. I’d recommend a sample to people who love classic-style perfumes like Ellen Tracy or Venezia and are looking for a similar warm fruitiness but with an elegant, dry, bitter chypre twist.
