This was my favorite parfume as a teenager. It was soft, fruity and sweet. Very nice summer fragrance.

This fragrance is a strong childhood memory of mine. My mother used to get every single YR fragrance out there, and this one got used seemingly every single week, at least once. I loved it as a kid, loved pulling off the cap when I was in the bathroom, loved smelling that super-strong, truly unique, sweet and citrusy scent. I thought it was divine.
I smelled it again a few years back, since I spotted it out the corner of my eye when I in the bathroom at my in-laws. It was like seeing a toy you’d forgotten you had as a kid. I had to smell it again. And although I giggled on the inside and didn’t think it horrible now, it was very much less “divine” and much more just “delicious” – though not as a perfume. I got the bottle from her, and I still keep it and have a sniff once in a while, but I’m never going to wear it – It’s not even a teenage scent to my nose – I’m only reminded of childhood.

I loved this scent when i was a teenager! On me it smelled like carrots and little bit like oranges, fresh and slightly sweet. And somewhat like autumn – fallen leaves freezing on the ground… So it is not a summer scent on me.
I had only one bottle of this (7,5ml), and I used it very carefully. It took me about five years to empty that bottle, and i’ve been missing this perfume ever since.

Just got mini bottle. I get lots of peach and soapy rose. Not sweet at all. It loses some of the soapness after 10 minutes. I don´t know if I will ever wear it.

This brings up good memories. I also loved Caprices de Printemps, a very nice floral.

This was my first summer fragrance and now we’re back together again after 11-12 years apart. It’s excactly as I remembered it. A perfect blend of orange and peach with kiwi in the background. It’s not sweet as mentioned before, but really fresh. Fresh fragrance, but sweet memories.

The well appointed “Ivresse d’été” is very fruity without beeing too sweet is an honnest frangrance from Yves Rocher which has been discontinued too soon , like many others in the 90’s.

I really love that fragrance, does somebody know a perfume which is similar or very close to “Ivresse d’été”? and of course which is not discontinued.

I have found its fragrance twin – another discontinued perfume but I have it now.
It is Killer Loop by Benetton.
I have both fragrances to compare and I am happy to cofirm that they are smell-alikes.

I remember this darling!! It was my constant accompany and has wonderful memories attatched to it..
Its citrusy,or more orangey ,fresh and not sweet, but juicy like the real fruit – but what i mostly got out of it was this increadiby gorgeus peach that i never felt in any other scent,i miss that. so fresh and joyful.

Ivresse d’Eté is indeed summery and sunny, smells like lots of yellow and orange fruits with a hint of carrot.
What I always found remarkable was that this scent was neither sweet nor citrussy at all.
It was perfect for summer as it was one of only a handful of perfumes that smell summery and sunny without being sugary sweet.
I guess that they managed to cut out the sweetness with this aforementioned carrot note. But then the scent was not citrussy or fizzy as well and I am a little intrigued about that – how did they do it?
This scent did not carry the tiniest hint of “cheap purpose fragrance”.
It was nothing like the usual summer perfumes that are intended to smell sweet and fruity (and attract wasps).
And it was nothing like random summer flankers made to be refreshing with (surprise…not!) added citrus or water notes.
Yves Rocher thought ouf of the box with this one and I actually regret that I have owned 3 or 4 bottles only… if it was still made, it would be on my dresser permanently.
I have bought a mini very recently and I guess that I will not be using it – it is way too beautiful to be wasted for work and I guess that I will just be sniffing it…
