Description

Flux de Fleur is a heavy, dark fruity, floral Oriental blend.

Heavy rain of melted frankincense coating a garden of marvelous pink grapefruit. Resins covering citrus fruits, fixing and supporting their playful character. Liquid green frankincense releasing a tangy zing that is both juicy and resinous, while black frankincense delivers a dark, musky sensation.

Once rain passes, the garden reveals its blooming florals. Piercing, narcotic tuberose; sweet, sharp and stimulating jasmine sambac; and powdery, seductive yellow frangipani, watered with black frankincense rain, all begin to blossom with notes of unimaginable dark, dry fruits.

Slowly majestic, highly-matured, rare Cambodian oud unfurls and stretches its ancient wings. Dark, thick and dense, it reveals the notes of dry, oudy fruits, molasses resins and plummy tobacco, graciously overlaying antique shamama attar.

Red, herbal, spicy amber notes pared with dark Indonesian oud, soaked in sweet coconut water take over, bring to life unmatchable olfactory pleasure.

Only hints of deer musk and castoreum are noticeable, as they hide their animalic nature behind oud and frankincense trees. The presence of these musks tie together this marvelous floral bouquet, supporting, uplifting, adding echoes that serve to refine the aroma.

Henna, blue lotus absolute and other various flowers infused into the solid base of this composition lead to a dry down that is just as complex and exciting as the opening. Layer upon layer of richness and dark, mysterious depth. Musks, clean Indian vetiver and lush tolu balsam hold the structure, adding to the lasting nuclear power.

Go back in time and allow the ancient roots of perfumery to slowly reveal itself in its whole glory. Go with the flow… the most beautiful floral flow… of Flux de Fleur.

This Olfactory Composition contains animal product… a maceration derived from legally obtained, wild Siberian deer musk grains. These were sourced from a legal institution that buys only from registered hunters who have permission from the Russian government to hunt a regulated number of wild deer per season. Legal musk grains are available in very limited amounts and are typically used only for traditional medicines. This is one of the reasons why natural musk grains are no longer used in large scale perfumery.” – a note from the brand.

Flux de Fleur was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Russian Adam.

This is what i wrote Jan 2018
“Starts henna jasmines, then goes lotus grapefruit cloying sweet.
It just swings back and forth between floral! between jasmines, frangipani, tuberose, & lotus! the sweet lotus is just overly sweet specially when it mingles with amber it went quite syrupy & that’s beside the frangipani.
This has henna kept to minimal, it has as well vetiver, musk, and vetiver, but no oud was detected in here. It has balsam effect, & olibanum.
It’s ok, nothing groundbreaking as i thought there will be and honestly it just doesn’t worth it’s price tag.”
Now i really don’t know how come i saw this sweet! I believe it’s because of the overloaded number of samples i tried that day and i believe it was too much in away that made me quite confused since i have a sensitive nose.
Now “Flux de Fleur” becoming addictive! i really sense that henna jasmines with doses of dust & lotus, a balsamic frangipani & an animalic tuberose. I’m not sure i am sniffing a Cambodian oud cause the Cambodian oud is quite distinctive in away that you can define it’s existent when it’s there, now oud is there i can’t deny, but it isn’t Cambodian. also i can’t detect a castoreum & i believe it’s the balsamic frangipani, jasmines, and lotus that created that animalic note that accompanied the tuberose.
It’s distinctive actually & divine! and i really wonder, am i growing love for floral now! or this combination & quality screams attraction! I believe i should grab a bottle before it’s too late.

This continues to be an interesting fragrance. Flowery with musky undertones. Unique for sure, which is one of the reasons I really like this house.

Sweet, dark, floral. I’ve never smelled anything like this. Definitely not for the faint of heart .

An absolutely glorious floral, supported beautifully by velvety smooth animalics. The dense, thick, syrupy tuberose is blended seamlessly with a heady sambac jasmin and the pungent aromas of frangipanni to create a lush, subtropical floral climate. Heady, dark spiced fruity woods, and deep ouds underlay the luscious florals, the tolu balsam reminding you that you’re in the wilderness of the tropics, slightly bitter resinous woody growth and dark, shadowy canopies. Lotus like a watercolour floral, rises in the drydown like steam rising from the earthen forest floor. Smooth, plush animalics, like shy creatures peek and stalk from the dark undergrowth; musk and castoreum provide a noticeable velvety animalic warmth that makes you feel like you’re being watched silently from the shadows.
An incredibly beautiful, dark, spicy animalic floral that is well worth the purchase!

You’re on a bustling street in Indonesia, eating a syrupy floral dessert from a stand on a hot day. There’s quite a bit of chaos, it’s hot and sweaty in the smog, crowds move around you with their various body odors, and you’re stuck with that syrupy floral dessert, that’s just a little too sweet and a little too floral. It smells like cocaine. Apparently…..
Received this as a sample with my purchase of Oud Picante.
In the opening my nose perceives a huge chemical hit of cocaine. It’s bitter and unpleasant.
Once this dies down you do start to get some wonderful floral notes.
Problem is of a never been a fan of florals.
    Quality is undeniable.

Honestly it was too sweet—a bit syrupy but not in a good way…only became digestible in the middle but still nothing extraordinary :/

Just received this one a few days ago and am trying it out for the first time. Superb fragrance, somewhat flowery with the tuberose and jasmine but an frankencense background with other notes hinted. Quality! This is a quality fragrance, using only the best ingredients. Not a beast or even heavy but definietly I believe longevity/sillage more than adequate. You wouldn’t want this type of fragrance to be beast mode anyway. IMO, this fragrance is well worth the higher price tag. Highly recommended…
