I have bought the shower gel and body lotion the summer the Plum Blossom line was released and loved both, so I decided to order the perfume unsmelled. It was a huge disappointment, like OTA Mom stated. The perfume version was overly sweet and too fruity, just plain candy like. To me it smelled really cheap, like a perfume that drugstores sell. I gave it away to a friend who actually said liked it, but even her wasn’t crazy about it.
The shower gel and lotion however, smelled divine; just fresh-floral, a bit fruity with only a touch of sweetness.

Another huge disappointment. This fragrance is now discontinued in the US, but I was able to finally obtain through Ebay. I own 14 plum trees, so I am familiar with the scent of plum blossoms–and could NOT detect any in this (meh) powdery floral, just like with the Jo Malone version. Hesitant to try any other makers after two big let-downs in a row, but would really love to locate a true plum blossom fragrance.

I love the mild, comfortable smell of this fragrance. It is not overpowering in anyway. A wonderful, almond milky note, with just some sweet plumflower in. A lovely, comfortable smell. Not a party scent, but fine for daily use. What I dislike, is the longevity. To me it seems like it last for only 5 mins. And the 100 ml flacon is a bit too big to wear in my purse…

Quite sweet. But in a very unpleasant, cloying way. Perhaps L’OCCITANE should have used the plum itself, instead of just the blossoms.
This fragrance just screams for a fresh, sparkling note.
However, I do like the lipgloss of this range. The sweetness is indeed almost edible, so that’s just fine for a lipgloss.

I’ve made a research on loccitane web site, about this perfume and the notes shown there weren’t the same as in here. Are you sure about the notes of this perfume, that you’re posting in here?

    I got a body lotion.
I love many perfume from L’Occitane. But this one is disappointing. Cherry blossom is too much better than it.Well maybe I should not have too high expectations.

Plum Blossom is quite a disappointment. It is like a cross between Cherry Blossom and Britney Spears’ Fantasy, however the sticky sweet and somewhat cloying factor just comes straight the short lived freshness which is about 2 seconds. And then it’s just a linear sweet watered-down BS Fantasy.
I love plum blossom notes in many other perfumes, however, this one, Plum Blossom is quite weird and headache-inducing to me.
    Try before you buy.

Ick! I can’t find anything I like about this scent. It’s very powdery, but in a synthetic way. I first smelled musk and I thought this might be nice, but it almost immediately turned into that old hairspray smell.
I don’t like Parissienne and this does smell similar, but YSL is better done.

I like last seasons limited edition mimosa better. But this fragrance is also on the clean side. I can definitely smell sakura here -japanese cherry blossom-
and vanilla… It has a powdery feeling and shares a similarity with YSL Parissienne… I prefer Cherry blossom so better pay half buy this one…
