Flair by Revlon is also a nice scent. I generally like Revlon fragrances. Very nice and price point is usually affordable.

Anyone here sees a huge similarity to a bottle of Hypnose Senses by Lancome?

    I paid just 5 dollar’s.
    Money worth spent.
I love all the reviews on this fragrance.
My 50 mill flacon will last some time.
It’s really earthy, kind of like cacharel’s Eden.
I can’t improve on other reviews.
    It was a blind buy.
And is reformulated from it’s earlier release. I believe in the seventies.
I’ve owned this as a pubescence.
    It’s worth having.
Great to layer with a heady rose and musk.

I have a small roller ball of Flair that I found on clearance at a drugstore a few years ago. I’ve tried it here and there but it never did much for me. It’s summer now and our family decided to take a jaunt to the river today to play in the sun and water….I grabbed my little roller ball on my way out. Not sure why as I haven’t used it in months and months. I put some on quickly and rubbed some in my palms and ran it through my freshly washed hair while I was at it…not expecting to smell anything other than fresh. Several minutes later, I couldn’t believe how beautiful I smelled. Flair is most definitely a Chypre but it’s a high pitched, sweet and fruity one…..similar to David Yurman.Interestingly, I also felt a Thierry Mugler vibe while wearing Flair. It wavered somewhere in between the sweet, spicy warmth of Angel and the heady, ethereal florals of Alien. Makes no sense if you are solely looking at the notes listed here. As I’ve read in other reviews, I don’t find this one “mature” at all…feels kind of timeless to me. It’s fresh and fruity and clean with just a smidge of spice and dries down to a clean and softly round floral with, I swear, just a hint of sensuous musk ( again…not listed in notes). I’m also reminded just a bit of Halle but Flair is less dense, more high pitched and fruity. I’m probably wrong but I think this perfume came out prior to the date listed above ( 2006) I feel like this was around in the late nineties…maybe even before that? I think I would, very much, like to purchase a larger bottle of this stuff.I love it when you’ve been trying to wear to a perfume over and over again that doesn’t really work then some sort of spontaneous hocus pocus takes place and said perfume reveals its unique and magical beauty to you. For those of you that don’t like this much….maybe keep trying? If you find that you still hate it…I’d be happy to take it off of your hands!

This is officially Not For Me. This is a fragrance that screams ‘mature.’ Mature can mean many things. This is not mature, as in I’ve worked hard to get where I am and am now in control of my life and have acquired wisdom. This is mature in the sense of “you kids get off my lawn!” I like mature when it speaks to sophistication and life experience, but that’s not what I’m getting here.
This fragrance has a floral base, but it also has some kind of sour/powdery note that really makes it unpleasant to me. If it was just the florals I might like it, but that added kick really ruins it for me. And yes, it does last quite a long time.

Flair is a very unique fragrance as I see none of us can come up with anything else it really smells like! And in this case, that is a bonus of this little hidden gem for a chypre-lover like myself that doesn’t want to smell like all the others chasing fads. This is a big departure from my usual selections & preferences as I don’t usually like sugary-sweets & candy scents. But this one is a different creature altogether! I would certainly have never imagined the notes would come out smelling this wonderful.
I wore this scent a lot throughout the month of December & through the holidays. Although we Southerners enjoy our pralines any time of the year, a large fresh praline log roll has gracefully & fragrantly had to stay wrapped under the tree & wait for Christmas morning for many generations. I guess it is a southern thing—a tray with plated sliced praline log rolls being served with hot tea, coffee, Russian Tea or apple cider during the mild winters in the deep south. We take great care & delight when the abundant pecan orchards locally have a bumper-crop year & the pralines & pecan pies are being churned of a many a kitchen in the south. Making them & giving them as holiday gifts is a long generational southern tradition. When the pralines are fresh, the sweet nutty aroma of the pecan still manages to shine through. Positively delicious!
And for Revlon to combine praline with the fruity plum, & tart black currant—genius! The peony is fresh & bright, the LOV peeps through softly, the patchouli brings a delightful & unexpected crisp green tone that only compliments, rather than overpower the more subtle notes. They play so well together—these “opposites” pull off that chypre vibe in a unique & very fresh way.
I love this fragrance & wear it for all occasions. It draws compliments & it is nice smelling so very unique! Great little unsung bargain beauty!

I used to love this perfume about 25yrs ago.. Got a free sample vial yesterday and couldnt wait to try it on again. OMG I hated it, after a 1/2 hour started getting a massive headache.. Had to scrub, with a brush & soap to get it off.
Did it change that much or is it just me?? I know I now prefer heavy vanilla and especially orientals. Don’t think I can take chypr any longer.. So sad, but I still have my memories of loving it when I was young.

This is what I call my sexy fragrance. I truly feel it should be worn at night but sometimes I can’t help but wear it during the day. It smells very womanly, and adult without being overpowering. I also have the body lotion which is incredible on its own and very moisturizing. This lasts forever. I have a purse I rarely ever use, and during my move last year I was organizing my purses. I still had a small bottle of the lotion in this purse and as soon as I unzipped it out came this wonderful scent, from a tightly closed bottle!

I notice this fragrance long after I put it on. At first it is nothing spectacular..rather ordinary. As it wears it opens & develops, like a fine bottle of wine, a warm feel that follows you through the day. Delightfully spicy

When I sprayed this on skin, my first impression was “woody green”. As skin heats up, the florals, patchouli, and fruits become more prominant to sweeten the mix. Slowly, Flair becomes a close-to-skin scent in the drydown.
Flair isn’t too feminine or too sweet. It could easily be unisex. It smells like expensive designer perfumes. It’s very pleasant, in a refreshing, crisp, uplifting, deligthful way. The drydown is more gentle shy floral, praline flavored, delicious. The “woody green” aspect remains, but softens in the drydown.
I find Flair unique, very very long lasting, totally modern, and a wonderful bargain !

Very nice for all ages, and available for next to nothing on eBay. A floral for someone who doesn’t usually go for florals! I don’t sense much of the passionfruit and guava. Just a deep floral with a hint of plummy sweetness. Great for wintertime, but can also be used sparingly in the summertime (try a spray on the lower back).

Bought it just for the price. Didn’t expect much, but got a really good surprise. The combination of fruits and florals…delicious. Surprisingly, it has a lasting smell. Strong; perfect for evening ware. I like it.

This isn’t a chypre at all in my opinion. This smells like a dark, sweet fruity floral. There is a damp heaviness about it. This isn’t a fresh or light scent. I find it stays the same throughout wear, with the drydown being the same smell but a bit softer.

Nah. Maybe I got a duff bottle (6ml dinky metallic-red topped roll-on bottle from Ebay), but I don’t like this. A cheap ‘floral fruity’ blah. I washed it off my hand and the remaining tiny trace smells quite nice but that isn’t worth waiting for it to wear down.

wow, I am very very impressed by this one. I never really tried Revlon perfumes because I never thought of Revlon as anything but makeup, and I sprayed this one and was really taken back. It smells SOOO good, I just hope it lasts on my skin. Kinda reminds me of Love and Glamour by JLO but surprisingly much better. The top notes are intoxicating here and I hope they last. I am very pleased I found this one

This is surprisingly good! I never would have thought Id like it as I dont normally like chyrpe perfumes alot but this is sweet modern and fresh. The passionfriut and blackcurrent are just beautiful. And I normally hate really berry fragrances the ylang ylang (i think) really softens it.
Edit: grew tired of this one unfortunately.

I get guava and peony right away, but the ylang and lily of the valley are both forward enough that it makes the fragrance uncomfortable for a while. My chemistry does not do well with those two notes! Fortunately, the plum and praline emerge rather quickly, and while I am sure the patchouli is present, I can’t specifically smell it. Instead, I assume it is adding to the sweetness of the base notes on my skin, which patchouli often does for me. I think it has a fruity-floral beginning and a gourmand finish, but there is something about the fragrance that makes me not want to wear it…

Not one of my favorites but not ghastly to my nose either. its a unique smell. I don’t know who test markets this stuff before it comes out but fruity is the trend and this one missed the mark a couple years back when all the famous folks were like JLO and Hilton and Shania Twain were marketing their scents so this one got a little lost in the scuffle.

What a nice little discount priced surprise! A luscious passion fruit opening gives way to a syrupy slurp of ylang ylang greened-up by muguet de bois. I’d call this a fall scent mostly because the black currant and plum remind me of grapes ripening on the vine but then again, the peony is so insistent I can almost see the ants licking the nectar from the peony buds.
Strangely, what remains for me at the drydown is an odd combination of muguet de bois and praline, although I don’t notice the praline for an hour or more after spritzing. It’s as if I’d spritzed Diorissimo and then spilled a jar of caramel sauce all over me – oddly delicious. Bring on the whipped cream!
Wow! Revlon… where’ve you been hiding Flair?

Not sure why this one’s a chypre…I get a sweet lemony citrus at the top (it’s fresh and pretty) which lasts a long time. Since there are no citrus notes, must be from the passion fruit I guess. The floral notes are very vague, seeming to hover in the background but never making a full appearance. After a few hours, I do get a creamy drydown which is nice but very close to the skin. Very much a summer scent and not a classic chypre by any means.

I love it, it’s very modern, not too sweet or cloying. The only problem I havse with it is that it doesn’t last on me.

Nice scent when you get a whiff of it from afar, but up close the smell sort of reminds me of a flowery bug spray. At least on my skin it does. But many perfumes don’t smell good on me. I’m sure it’s pretty on the right chemistry.
