Description
After numerous versions of the First perfume by Van Cleef & Arpels, First Eau de Parfum Intense will be launched soon! The intensive limited version will be a thrill in the upcoming colder weather.
The floral scent is now more long-lasting and of better quality. Its opulent opening notes continue with the floral heart composed of jasmine, frangipani, mimosa and iris, while the composition closes with sweet vanilla and praline notes.
The flacon is colored in gold and black, to reflect elegance and luxury of the fragrance and of the designer’s jewelry collection. Leather case of the flacon is also black, decorated with golden letters showing name of the perfume and logo of the House of Van Cleef & Arpels.
Van Cleef & Arpels First Eau de Parfum Intense arrives on the market in September 2012 and it will be available as 100 ml EDP.

Disappointed.
What a huge let down for me.
My original edp is so much smoother.
This just does not mesh together well.
It’s intrusive and truly unpleasant.
Re-selling my bottle.

This fragrance I LOVE. Hubby? Not so much……..he said that it did nothing to add to the smell of the room around me and that it was really loud. I put my usual amount of sprays like my others (first wear test btw) and turned around to walk into the living room. I wasn’t seated but for 1 minute when the lecture about it started. This is most definitely a 1 – 2 MAX spray….probably a “spray the air and walk through”. I find it completely lovely…

Just the way I want it to be. Dark, deep, sexy flowernotes with a wiff of 80/90’s strong bold aura. 1 spritz goes a long way. No sweet notes at all and thats why I think this is a scent for a grown-up woman.
Precis så som jag vill ha mina dofter. Mörk, djupa sexiga blomnoter med en härlig aura av 80/90-talets lite tunga dofter. 1 sprejning räcker länge. Inga söta doftnoter alls och därför tror jag att denna passar bäst på en vuxen kvinna.

I recieved a sample with a purchase of Joy. One spray and the sillage hit me like a punch to the nose. My husband walked into the room a moment later and exclaimed that there wasn’t room for the three of us in the room…the EdP pushed him out.
I washed my wrists immediately, but the sillage is still unbelievably strong…and with a sharp, brassy note like an old woman’s perfume in a small car.

I bought this last year at the airport as they didn’t have the ‘normal’ EDP, and although I still like it, I think I preferred the previous version (EDP). It doesn’t seem to last much longer either.

With the first release there is no difference, despite the fact that the pyramids are quite different. Just intense sound, still EDP. Old, killing a classic!
