I don’t get Orange – I get a lemon/lime start. It’s citrus and rather sharp-reads masculine. From there the “spices” start to open up around me – not on me. It’s very light in the air- the sharp citrus fades down but seems to keep the spice aloft. There doesn’t seem to be a ‘base” note – nothing underneath. This would work outdoors in the summer on a man.

Upon first sniff, Fire Opal brought back a striking and unexpected flavor memory: an orange soft drink from the 1970’s. Orange Crush? Orange Fanta? I don’t remember the name of the soda, but on me, this is emphatically an orange soda gourmand. Something about the interplay among the frankincense, mandarin orange and spices even produces an effervescent effect. I’m not really a gourmand lover, but for someone who is and who is looking for an orange soda perfume: give this a try.
