This has a strong oakmoss and Amber base, with a spicy note and a powdery note. It doesn’t feel like perfume made by a committee, it’s a bit quirky.

I love this beautiful boutique fragrance shop in the French Quarter in New Orleans. Every time I visit the city I make sure to stop in to buy a bottle or two of fragrance. I usually purchase Imperatrice and Amber Antique, but this time, I bought a large bottle of Fascinator. I have been wearing it all day. It is now almost 11 pm and it smells just as good as when I put it on this morning. I usually wear orientals, but this is a woodsy chypre with a mix of musk and oakmoss. It reminds me of Melograno by Santa Maria Novella, but it is softer and more pleasant. I am happy with my purchase.
