Osmanthus in this one is very nice, does not give me headache like found in other fragrances from different brands, works well with freesia. This is such a bright and shine fragrance for day or night wear in spring and summer. It is pretty but not enough to be “sexy” (lack of depth in layers, “mystery”, and “darkness”). It is to me just simply juicy, sweet, florally Fabulous 🙂 Longevity and sillage are great also. I like it a lot.

I didn’t smell the earlier version but this is a very nice and sexy scent. It smells musky similar to Bright Crystal just less juicy, less sweet. I make a note of the perfumes my husband comments on in my overgrown collection. This one he liked a lot. Longevity and sillage are good.

I am thinking this isn’t the same formulation…The older version of the same name states: “Fabulous by Victoria’s Secret is a collection presented in February 2013.
Connection between the collection of fragrances and lingerie accentuates sexiness and provides a fresh and vibrant blend of notes. “Fluffy florals combined with weightless fruits and a base of whipped warmth. The result is an innovative floral fragrance anchored by the sparkling trio of juicy currant, osmanthus blossom and pink freesia.Beyond sexy.”
Top notes incorporate juicy currant, violet leaves, apricot nectar, mandarin natural. The heart is built around osmanthus blossom, muguet, jasmine sambac, pink freesia, while the base closes with Australian sandalwood, captive musks, benzoin, whipped vanilla.”
Hmmm…do they smell the same??

I’m assuming this is just a re-issue of the original Fabulous. On me, this is feminine, a touch sweet but not overpowering. It seems to be a more sophisticated, less teenage-y version of Victoria’s “Secret Charm” which was discontinued. Sadly, it seems Fabulous may now be discontinued as well. It’s a shame because VS seems to be rife with chemical-smelling, in your face gourmond-musky or overpowering floral femme fatale scents. This is a pleasant departure from those categories.

rachelanne87 when I tested it at the store, it smelled identical to the original Fabulous. They seem to just be discontinuing bottle styles and then reintroducing the fragrance in new bottles with less notes.

This bottles an eyesore usually vs does beautiful bottles

Is this just Fabulous in a new bottle? Or is it a completely different scent?
