A great fragrance. Excellently blended with quality products…to my nose at least. I am not an Oud fan, but I LOVE this one. I starts out strong, but then mellows nicely to a more pleasant, approachable scent that you can’t keep from sniffing. Can’t believe that it is only a two note product… What a great job by Zara! Haters are going to hate, but this, in my opinion, is worthy of the hype.

My all time favourite fragrance is the vintage M7 which pretty much stated the western oud craze.
I also have zara exclusive oud infact i have 4 bottles i think it’s beautiful stunningly nice juice even compared to your beloved Tom Ford.
For the price and blend it’s stupendous.
We all have fragrance preferences so please stop the angry blah blah blah.
If you don’t like zara exclusive oud simple don’t buy it.
But if i put some sewage water in a Tom Ford bottle you’d probably say it’s the best thing you’ve ever smelled.

Hi Konga5000. We meet again now in the Zara Oud page, and again I could not disagree more with you.
Let me state some opinions:
– Zara exclusive Oud is an extraordinary oud fragrance.
– Other inexpensive ouds like Armaf Shades Wood and Ferrari Oud are very good fragrances as well.
– For me both Zara and Armaf examples are better than some top line oud fragrances like Armaf Oud, Versace Oud, Boss Oud, Polo Oud, Nasommato Oud, lots of Oud fragrances form Montale and Mancera (but not all) and so on. On top of it they cost less than 20 Euros and the top niche or designer fragrances I mentioned cost 4 to 20 times more.
– The best Oud I know is Ettienne Aigner Oud Nº 1 and costs 30 Euros or so.
To finish…
Again I do not understand all the rage you devote to Zara fragrances. And Zara Exclusive Oud it’s really a VERY GOOD OUD FRAGRANCE.
It really bothers me that wou call stupid to all the people who like Zara fragrances. It does not bother me that you deslike Zara fragrances. You have the right to your own olfactory opinion, as I do have the right to have my own opinion.

It have both the 2016(EDT) and the even better 2017 formuulation (EDP).
The Fragrantica picture shows the 2016 formulation.
In the 2017 formulation the bottles are different from the one in the picture and the bottle glass surface is smooth instead of having that pattern.

Most definitely a true hidden gem unbelievable quality and blending smells smooth and beautiful even more shocking it’s made by a clothes chain. When i tried this beauty months ago i was taken aback to how similar to armani prive oud royale it smelled i managed to stock up with 4 bottles. My bottles are different to the one in the picture smooth brown glass bottle. I’ve noticed it’s not been on the zara website for months. Just to confirm i went to a department store to try armani royal oud again the similarities to zara are unbelievable even silage and longevity and projection are stunningly good.
If you see it in a store my advice buy it immediately if you like smooth mellow oud.
You won’t be disappointed i promise.

First ordered a decant and fell in love. Been hunting for the bottle in 3 local Zara stores for two weeks. Finally I got it! They had only one bottle, bought it immediately. Every time I’m around, I’m checking if it’s there – the next occasion I’ll buy another one, two or three bottles to just stock myself up.
For the price of 13-15€ this has the quality of Armani Prive or Tom Ford Private Blend collections which cost like 10-12 times more. WIN, WIN, WIN.

1) This is a quality fragrance. It’s a very nice Oud comparable to other nice Ouds in the market.
I like it a lot. I Just have one bottle because when I tried to buy a spare one it was sold out.
2) I will just state an opinion related to some very negative reviews about this fragrance; Some people just don’t know how to sniff and wear a strong oudy or woody perfume.
– Don’t spray near the face or neck (near the nose). Use chest, wrists, fore knee, elbows …. or clothes.
– For bigger longevity spray your hair above or behhind the ears and your clothes. (this advice works with any fragrance)
– Forget about the first 10 or 15 minutes. The food is still raw, let it cook for a while.
– Trust what you get from the sillage effect in the first couple of hours. If you spray the back of your hand and then and then sniff it with the skin “glued” to your nose, you may get nausea and headache…
– Want to smell it with your nose close to the skin? give the perfume 2 hours or more before doing it.
– Want to wear it on a night out? Spray it at least one hour before leaving your home. Better 2 hours 🙂
You will be the Club King that night.
– This is not Aqua di Gio or Versace pour Homme. Don’t use the same way you use a citrus fresh perfume.

Incense? I get no incense in this at all. I get a powdery Saffron, Wood, and Cinnamon. Its a dry, powdery, fresh spicy, and woody scent.
Please take note of that before buying, guys.
I will also add that I have the most recent reformulation, and it is deceptively strong. I think because of the kind of scent it is, it causes Olfactory fatigue for me very quickly. I dont think it is there, but then I still smell after washing, sometimes twice. If you like this kind of scent I would definitely give it a try, esp at this price point. They did a very nice job with this one.

It reminds me of my grandma’s big armoire in which she stored all her fur and wool coats. The wood board soaked her powdery sweet perfume left on the clothes over the years. Whenever I opened it, I always smell this sweet woody scent, warm and cozy as the first impression I got from this fragrance.
The “teawood” is more unique and giving better performance among some zara woody scents I tried recently . Sometime the edt works much better than edp on my skin. This slightly nutty spicy wood scent is just lack of something to my taste. I wish it could be a little creamier or… I am no expert after all. I would not buy it if there was a tester at store to let me try it first. But its not expensive maybe I can gift it to someone love “oud” scent since it has got a few praise from reviewers here.

It’s sweet fresh on the lines of M7 another zara fragrance wood noir is also simply stunning. These could sell for quadruple the price very easily it is of such niche quality for bargain basement price.

I bought it because I tried it in a Zara store and half an hour later 3 thoughts crossed my mind:
1 – It was a fantastic scent
2 – It was really an inexpensive bottle
3 – I would not forgive myself if I would not buy it
Since then I already used I’d about 10 times.
The first time I used it at home, my wife commented:
“You are wearing a different Oud. It’s fantastic… Tell me what it is without telling me the fortune you paid for it”.
When I told her it was a Zara scent, she didn’t believe. All she knew was that the fragrance was not my usual Oud (Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir).
Congratulations to Zara for making such a nice perfume for 12,5 Euros.

I get very very tamed ,quite sweet oud and safron cinamon notes,and it does last 9+ hours on my skin.This is scent for oud beginers for sure ,who like sweetish safrony cinamon notes. To my nose ZEO is quite mix of Nakahat Al Oud by Latafa and YSL M7 Oud Absolut, which I Love…but with even more wearable oud.

This is an incredible buy for its price! Has a noticeable cinnamon when first sprayed and the oud bursts forth, and doesn’t go away. This is a very smooth oud which is not harsh whatsoever and the fragrance remains that way – extremely smooth and refined. A leather becomes pronounced to me after around half an hour and overall feels refined and fairly classy.
I picked this up as a 100ml EDP for £22 shipped which is great – and it has good silage and longevity. On clothes it is still detectable 3-4 days later. I also sprayed some on my inner elbow at around 8pm, went in the shower at around 11pm – and there was an oudy smell at around 12pm the next day.
This reminds me of many things, Zavidoff’s Agar Blend (a lot), Gucci Intense Oud (a bit), YSL M7 (a bit) – excellent value for money.

I have this fragrance for a few months now. This is the fragrance that got me buying another 15 Zara fragrances, including Rich Warm Addictive and Vibrant Leather.
And is still my favorite fragrance from my collection even if I’m not that crazy about oud fragrances in general.
For me this fragrance has it all, great smell, amazing performances, don’t smell mainstream and got me compliments. To my nose, EO smell better that any niche fragrance I ever tried, I didn’t try that many but still…
I mentioned before that Exclusive Oud is similar to M7. I still get that a lot, but it’s defiantly not a clone.
Zara just relaunched again this fragrance in a new presentation, the third one, LOL.

I’m new to fragrance collecting, but this Exclusive Oud is a knockout. It’s intoxicating. Maybe my nose isn’t “trained” enough yet to pick up all the nuances of a fragrance, but I know enough to know this is an exceptional buy at $29.90. Exclusive Oud doesn’t smell like any of the mainstream designer fragrances. You put it on and it just continues to get better as it dries down. The ladies in my family really like the smell, which is more than I can say for some of my other fragrances.
Do yourself a favor and pick up a bottle if you can find one.
Edit #1: I sprayed two sprays on my arm as a sample for my family and I about choked myself out for the next 2-3 hours. I apologize for the early glowing review, but the overwhelming smell kind of ruined it for me. I’m still learning, and I’ll be more careful in the future about my reviews.

on me the cinnamon and saffron turn into a balmy, powdery bubblegum. it’s not the first thing i’d like to smell on a man, and even on a woman it’d be a weird smell. it’s not entirely awful though, it turns into this burnt sugar accord reminscent of margiela’s fireplace and everything is alright again. the end result is basically the sweetness of 1 million with less depth and a weak oud to fill the space. not everything has to be deep or smart, i kinda like this for what it is…thank god its only 30 dollars.

Found 1 box of Oud Exclusive sitting on the shelf and grabbed it. Pure blind buy, as the tester bottle was missing. Going to give this a try and share my feedback.
BTW, I saw another new release on the shelf which the Zara staff mentioned had arrived just this morning. It’s called Gourmand Leather. I could not find it in Fragrantica yet, unless they re-released one of their previous bottles under a new name. I sprayed the tester on my wrist and based on my limited knowledge of fragrances, if there is anything I can compare it to, it would be Armani Code (in the opening anyway). There is something similar to the tonka bean note. I just started this hobby so by all means take my opinion with a grain of salt.

This is an acrid dry woody fragrance with a touch of nutty “oud” (Oud Royal is very incensy with creamy sandalwood undertone, and the oud is not nutty)…
It’s very good for the price, but still a bit unpolished; a great substitute for commercial and lower-end niche ouds up to 4.5x the retail price.

Hello finally collected my bottles was a long drive soon as i got back to the car i opened up a box and sprayed some on my hand and wrists. Honestly it’s a truly amazing scent believe the hype it’s a sweet ambery fragrance with oud bet mellow in the background I’m so happy i got 4 bottles and if i could have 4 more I’d gladly buy them it’s a amazing fragrance even at triple the price. I don’t no how niche brands can justify charging exorbitant prices. Yes they’ll say they use better ingredients etc that’s true but if little zara can sell this juice of this quality for such a low price it really makes me think. If you like sweet zesty ambery oudy fragrances you’ll love this juice. Less oud more sweet ambery zesty to me.

I visited today the Zara shop in my city, and find a surprising thing: they have reissued EXCLUSIVE OUD and WOOD NOIR previously released in Tag Collection bottle format. Now the juice comes in a new, yet modern bottle and packaging format, but…. slightly diluted.
The changes are minimal, but now the fragrance remains close to the skin with small projection.
Longevity keeps the same.

All the fuss about the rich/warm that is a great fragrance, specially for the price point, but this one, this is a real gem.
Each year Zara seems to surprise me in the fragrance department, but I haven’t bought any fragrance from them until this one, I really don’t “care” about the price (well, I do, but I won’t buy a fragrance just because is cheap, I don’t mind paying a bit more for something better made) and until last year (I mean 2015) I could smell the cheapness of their fragrances (usually only on the beginning) but they improve it, a lot.
Now back to this fragrance, the first fragrance I bought from Zara (I still don’t believe myself) this is rich, and warm (no, it’s not the other one) soft spicy, a little smokey and a little sweet woody fragrance, the quality of the blend is “oudstanding”, I’m very used to niche fragrances and this is with out a doubt a niche fragrance, if i blinded sniffed this, I would think it was a 100€+ fragrance, and a pretty good one at that! So yes, for less then 20€? It’s freacking amazing. I do find it less dense then for example the armani oud royal (this is only from memory, since I haven’t smelled oud royal in a long time), but it’s a good thing, I’m not the biggest fan of Oud, actually I rarely like an oud fragrance, so for me to like this one, and from Zara? a bit surreal, but there’s definately an oud vibe to it, my mother didn’t like it so there’s definately that vibe.
What I get? There’s more notes then those for sure, besides the dominant notes os wood and oud (which is a very soft oud, not medicinal at all) there’s also some spicy element and amber that give it a slightly warm and sweet base.
Very gentleman fragrance, more upscale, I hope Zara keeps releasing more stuff like this. Eager to find the Amber one, the wood noir was very good too but i did find this one better blended.

I went to Zara last saturday for the Tobacco releases, I got 1 bottle of the addictive (the last one) and 1 of the intense. Nothing else special on the shelf that day…..
Today I went there to pick up a 9.0 bottle, saw this one and the Wood Noir version displayed on the shelf, both EDP’s….though in a slightly different box and the bottle looks different too (no texture).
Grabbed them both too!

The smell is very nice, not a in your face oud. Projection good the first hours and holds more than 10 hours on me (then shower).
The Wood Noir is also a nice and decent smell but I like this one slightly more!
But got complimented on the Wood one after wearing it for 10 hours!
Can’t go wrong with an EDP for this price!
Of both I bought a backup bottle the 9th.

So, I smelled this perfume in the store earlier this year and then sprayed some on. I could still smell it on my skin the next day when i woke up. Its very long lasting. All I can smell is oud from this. Which makes sense because it has only one other ingredient. For the price that its worth its very value for money. I think I payed about 20 or 25 pounds. I would say its perfect for the night time. I wear it if I am going out to a club or bar. I do not recommend it for work because it smells very strong. Its my special occasion fragrance. I also think it can be worn in the summer as it makes me feel like a hot summer night in a foreign country like saudi arabia.

I think is already discontinued, I can’t find another bottle in my city, and there are 3 Zara stores here.
Such a shame because is a great one, is my favorite fragrance at the moment.

This is fantastic! Awesome oud without rose. To my nose Exclusive Oud is pritty similar to the first YSL M7!
I just test the fragrance but I’m very impressed. Grab it quickly because is already quite hard to find.

a delicious scent of oud not as sharp as the oud montale but nice and soft. dark but not too much. for 15 EUR – 100 ml it is great. excellent performance.8 / 10

Buyed on-line with other two new releases in the same brown bottle line presented as different flankers from the new woody collection.
It smells sooooo good and expensive. It comes in eau de parfum concentration having a moderate sillage and a high fixation so it’s very long lasting (I can still smell it the next day).
The company responsible for its manufacture is Mixer and Pack. I think that Puig is behind this brand because of its high quality.

Tried it today again side by side with Oud Royal (Armani Prive Line), and they are pretty much alike.
I’m very happy with this blind purchase.

I can’t say I think Zara have any stand out fragrances, at least not the ones I’ve tried in any case. However they appear to have jumped on the oud train, arguably too late but they are on it, so I will reserve judgement. Something they have done with this one is entice me to sample it with a great looking bottle…I mean look it at it!!!

Zara’s fragrance game is underrated, in my opinion. They produce some really good smells that go under the radar.
I haven’t smell this one but I have good & high expectations for it. The fact that it’s made up of 2 notes only, makes it very likely that it would be a true oud-smelling fragrance, as opposed to some oud fragrances that you can’t detect the oud in them.
