WOW, This is one sexy juice! Sweet tender tobacco with oakmoss. It’s a dusty tobacco sweetened by dark vanilla which is most likely the combination of leather and cherries if i’m going with this pyramid. NO mandarin, NO lime, and definately NO pink pepper. There might be cardamom to extremize the effect of the tobacco (there isn’t such word :p ).
I don’t think this should be called “Evil Max”~ it should be called “Naughty Max”. It is the smell of “John Mannion” from Basil 1998 movie and before he got deformed.
I guess it’s kind of similar to “Bell’Antonio” by Hilde Soliani.

Love this juice. It has great longevity.
I know it’s not referenced but on my skin this has oodles of vanilla. It’s warm, gourmand and addictive.

A tale of two Evil Max’s. On me the lightest dab goes so heavy and I can’t distinguish as it merges into one big bomb and lingers after I wash it off. I struggled with this one.
However it is the first scent my fiancé has ever raved about and happily asked me to buy it for him. On him the notes are mellow and distinguished and sweetly reminds him of 70s scents of his grandad. Three male family members also liked it immensely. Men like the cherry tobbaco hint and I adore it on him. Definitely try a tester first. And Sarah of 4160 Tuesdays seems a darling.

I purchased this having sampled a few of the other incarnations like Sexiest Fragrance in the World, Doe in the Snow, and I am disappointed, the consolation is that I got it cheap, as the vendor is having a closing down sale. Steer clear, in principle it sounds great, in reality it is not far off the worst fragrance in the world.

A big hit of vetiver then oak moss and leather. The fragrance develops further and the cherries start to appear along with the patchouli, musk and cardamom. The leather stays all the way through. Now I am not one to say this lightly and it is very rare but this fragrance is definitely a sex bomb. Its another inspired combination of notes from Sarah. I envy her olfactory imagination. I normally hate chypres but I love this.
Moderate sillage and longevity.

Heavy, deep, bitter and leathery. But get whiffs of sweet tobacco and cherry. This is really good. Making me lick my lips because of the depth of scent and flavour. Reminds me of dark wood and wood oils. There is an earthiness to this too with the patchouli and oakmoss. These layers really swirl and juggle.

Really nice unusual chypre. Beautifully blended and thus hard for my nose to pick out specifics other than slightly cherry opening and wonderful oakmoss drydown with interwoven spices.
