Eudora Eau de Parfum was launched in 2011 and has just undergone a repackaging. The new packaging was produced in partnership with Centdegrés, reinforcing the idea of sophistication. The new look is also used in the Eudora Deluxe Edition EDP and the colors have been retained, according to the existing visual identity. The finishing is top notch, even on the plastic parts.
The fragrance, however, did not change. Eudora Eau de Parfum was the first EDP of the brand and did not opt for the Brazilian nomenclature of Deo Parfum, making use of the French term, which is known worldwide. It has notes of mandarin, bergamot and apricots, right in the output, making way for a beautiful floral body, produced through the notes of rose, gardenia and freesia, on a fuller base with patchouli, woody accord, amber and vanilla.
Although it does not have mossy notes, it is classified as a woody-chypre by the company. Some say it is a floral-chypre. I go against it and say that it behaves like a floral-woody on my skin. But I confess that I can see this chypre and modern side that people speak so much.
Eudora Eau de Parfum combines everything that works in a single perfume: elegance, versatility, good aroma and sophistication at the ideal point. From the moment it is applied on the skin, it shows what has to come and makes it clear that it has quality. Initially, there is an explosion of fruits that seem to have been dipped in a water of flowers. There is not a very citric content, although many may think. The gardenia shines, absolute, throughout the evolution. Its floral and slightly green nuances perfectly serve as a point of connection between the beginning and the end. Then, the amber and the woods of the base bring a subtle sensuality, without making the scent very sexy or pungent.
Looking for information on what users think about Eudora Eau de Parfum, I came across some comparisons involving the perfumes CH (Carolina Herrera) and Coco Mademoiselle EDT (Chanel). Luckily, I have both in my collection and I decided to do some comparative tests. And I can say this: there is a similarity in the olfactory path. However, while CH is more floral and Coco Mademoiselle is softer in the course of the hours, Eudora Eau de Parfum is slightly almond-type during a few moments of its evolution. Still, in my opinion, it really bears many similarities to the fragrance of the Chanel house.
To conclude, it is worth saying that Eudora EDP has an excellent initial projection, but does not continue to exude for a long time. In contrast, the lasting is excellent and proves that there are many quality options in the Brazilian perfumery for half the price of another imported perfume. It definitely deserves more attention from the female audience.
