I have a bottle of this for years and it seems to me that it will live for some more years, just because I don´t use it..
Bought it because it was cheap and I didn´t want to use my more expensive perfumes for everyday in university.
To me it smells horribly synthetic with an unpleasant cheap alcohole note the first hour or so. I could not detect notes clearly, but somehow expected a virginia cedar to appear in the perfume´s pyramide. If there´s vetiver in it, it´s not a natural, complex and dirty vetiver oil but simply vetiveryl acetate (which is not necessariliy bad, I suppose the vetiver in Encre Noire is synthetic as well, but much better blended, but in this perfume it´s not to its best).
Can´t smell rhubarb or amber, which are the strongest voted notes.
Haven´t put it on my armes for a while, will update if I do so, perhaps I will be able to tell you more.
To me it´s kind of strange, that most people like this stuff. So again I´m reflecting if there are different formulations on the market..?

Esprit make a fair number of fragrances and none of them are remarkable. Esprit Collection Man is the best I have smelled. It starts off with a slight fruitiness, which seems to be citrus. The spiciness gives it a crispness which to some degree masks the fruit. It smells fairly generic: it’s nice, but not anything to get excited about. Many heavy sprays are needed to make this one exhibit reasonable sillage.

typical male fragrance, the very beginning and head of smell is strong, but fresh and sexy. I ve failed to recognize individual notes. I can imagine it to be in my partners wardrobe for everyday wearing and for office.
