I’m enjoying this one. The pineapple and tonka stand out for me, but I am also getting a fresh, clean vibe as well. I like it!

Very surprised by this little unpretentious parfume.
A lovely fruity aromatic, fresh and energy giving. Really long lasting on clothes.

it completely doesn’t work on my skin but it smells very great on my wife’s and fabrics. I like it so much, unusual sweetness and the power of longevity is awsome. I’m feeling young everytime im using it.
To neutralize the egg smell, I always double it with Berdoues Citrus Hesperida. It becomes so romantic and soft with a tamed egg smell.
    8/10.

    Tested on: daily wear
    Impression: fruity, sweet.
Skin Drydown smells bad (bad eggs).
Better to spray at clothes or fabric.
    Would I buy another: No.

“Energy Man” by Benetton is one of my favourite fragrances and I considered it as one of my signature ones too. Such a pity it’s been discontinued last year! (As of december 2013 you can still find a bottle here and there though).
It’s a sweet fragrance but not the kind of sweet of those bold disco floor fragrances since it is a fresh/fruity/citrusy one, very energizing (as the name says) and very uplifting.
It is not a complex or subtle fragrance but it absolutely doesn’t smell cheap or synthetic.
Pineapple is its main note and projection and longevity are good on my skin.
Perfect in spring and summer, for daytime use but also for hot summer nights out.
The striped bottle is simple but nice and it represents well the spirit of the Benetton brand.

A sweet-tonka bean frag which is affordable and maybe best used in colder conditions…
    I applied 6 heavy sprays
0 – 5 secs- Tonka bean with fruity sweetness
5 secs – 1 hour – This is a mild, basic gourmand with sweetness and cosiness – its domintaed by tonka bean/vanilla with sweetness and fruit – pineapple. That’s it!
1 hours – 3 hours 6 inch projection. I wore this in the summer on a couple of occasions and oh boy it was too sickening. I find it hard to like this; it is probably not bad at all to others, but I cannot get any chemistry with this. Spraying on colder, Autmun days made this better, but still I find it sickly.
    3 hours – 5 hours – 3 inch projection
    5 hours – 8 hours – Close to skin
A blind buy which at the price was not too much of a risk.
Less is better, one spray on the low torso and let it waft up for a couple of hours and on a cold day!
I blind bought the female equivalent which I think is much better
    Not for me

I love this perfume! It s so fruity.
The opening is sweet… It doesn’t smell like lemon but if you like Benetton unisex then you’ll love as its opening is not as sharp.
The best thing is logevity and sillage. I mean for the price its really awesome… But yeah it suits the age 25 below.
My girl friend loves it on me.
    4/5 – Overall.
    4/5 – Fragrance
    4/5 – Sillage.
    4/5 – Longetivity.

Bought this blind because of the cheap price and was pleasantly surprised. A nice fruity sweet and fresh EDT. The pineapple is distinct, then the vanilla comes through a little. Longevity and sillage are good. It seems to have a really pleasant fresh sillage too. Energy Man is inexpensive and is great value too.

Terrible. Artificial, sharp, metallic and hardly any of fruity sweetness comes through. It’s a real eye burner. Off odors, anise and spice is overwhelming. On the bright side, projection and sillage are quite good! It could be I got a bad bottle or this just meshes poorly with my body chemistry. A shame because it looks so good on paper.
    Score : 2/10

Horrible!!! I like sweet scents but I hate this one.

On paper this smells lovely; on my skin it is nice but not anything special. The dry down is a soft wistful vanilla and muted fruit. I do not detect any rancidness or “rotten egg” effect that others have experienced. I bought it only because of the cheap price – $7! Worth it.

My boyfriend bought this yesterday and it is just awful and not only on the initial spray, but on the drydown too. The drydown ended up smelling like raw eggs that had been sitting out in the sun! It made both of our stomachs turn. My boyfriend doesn’t even want to give the perfume away because it’s THAT BAD. Thank god it was only $10 at Marshall’s.

Yes, this is a very sweet, fruity fragrance. Probably not something most need in their collection and its not the sorta thing for which most will go out looking. But I will say this – I really enjoy the bright citrus notes, which last a really long time (almost the entire duration of the scent) and the pineapple note that shines through. As long as I don’t spray alot, I don’t even really notice how cloying the vanilla and tonka bean can be. This one even projects well. As a summer/spring fragrance, this is going to get plenty of wear. And for only $9.99 to boot!
Grade: B (better than your ordinary sport scent but not for everyone)

This smells like a sweet pineapple. This is one of the worst colognes I have used. It doesn’t last and smells cheap. I wanted something fruity but this smells too ‘synthetic.’

My Bf got one as a gift.. he put it on car’s dashboard, couple days after,, both of us sniff a stink like a rotten egg from his car.. guess what? it comes from this perfume!! OMG this stinks horrible !! I dunno if it’s already expired or it just smells like this?!

    Very Fruity………..

Energy Man is purely fruity with a very high strength on “pineapple” on my skin, IMHO. I received compliment wearing this, by which I am so glad with its sillage.
My nose is probably not good enough to smell tonka bean or I don’t know how it smells.
All in all. 8/10. Longevity is decent considering its price. Thank you for reading 🙂
