    A little bit « soapy » but it’s nice

Today a girl wore it. I do not like sweet aromas I have to say that the vanilla here is not at all annoying, on the contrary … it is inviting. It is a fragrance that has a wonderful and superb evolution. Its scents are imposed on any type of smell nearby (Thanks to sandalwood, tonka and the heliotrope).

Based on notes I should have liked more than I do. I had it in my youth and now rebought again. Mainly because of my husband…who ADORES the scent. Musky, powdery and warm. Silage and longevity is moderate. I like you, but I dont love you.

It’s very hard for me to describe this scent. The only thing I can say is that it smells old-fashioned, like a perfume my grandma would wear. Based on the notes, I expected something completely different. Sadly,I don’t detect any vanilla, tonka or sandalwood. The sillage and longevity are extremely poor (about an hour!). Very disappointing!

Such beautiful notes… Vanilla, sandalwood, tonka, heliotrope, almond… Then why do I only get sandalwood on my skin? I just get nothinig more and nothing less than sandalwood. It must be my skin that just refuses to show me the other notes. It’s all sandalwood, from top to drydown.
Great performance however, sillage is moderate-heavy and longevity is 6-8 hours.

Hands down the best perfume ever.
I have worn it for 20 years now and I will never get bored of it. No other perfume smells like it and it’s perfect for every occasion.
Men either love it or don’t think much of it.

This perfumes remains one of my favourites and I just repurchased it.
The reason I love it so much is because it fills all my needs and lusts , it works all year and works for play, date and office. Its feminine yet masculine ,it’s warm yet clean and cool ,it’s sexy yet assertive and powerful ,,,it’s truly everything I like.
I love how it starts almost like a masculine cologne , a warm soft cozy one at that but still has strong masculine vibe , which makes it ultra attractive to me. It’s not your girly fruity little pink spray that you find at every corner of the department store. Then it gets warmer and more vanillic from there , the sandalwood and the amber , along with almonds and Tonka are such a warm feminine combination. The iris root is always present it’s almost like the center of the fragrance to me. Everythimg sort of hurtles around iris root in here !
It’s a classic , a keeper and it fills all my needs .
Love the unique bottle as well , great for the purse or even for a light bathroom , as it is protected from the sun in the stunning unique bottle. Best of all if your man wants to borrow it you can enjoy it on him , i love that too.
I feel the same way as the reviewer evelyn_fragrance , Armani Lei is understated elegance at its best ,simple and functional.

It’s soapy, sweet, salty and warm. I get a kind of beachy vibe from it. Smells like sun protection lotion to me. And it also reminds me of the popular sweet perfumes from the big designer houses. Not my type of fragrance. I Wonder if it has been reformulated, because I liked it when I tested it many years ago. Very mature scent and serious, in my opinion. It reminds me strongly of a high end Naomi Campbell first perfume, a stronger and deeper one.

Is this another one that’s regarded as a skin accord scent? I seem to have been reaching for those lately.
Had a well satisfying day with this. Plenty of stout creamy whiffs all day. Can’t say there’s anything massively distinctive about it – it’s just basically a solid creamy-floral fragrance on a solid musk-amber foundation.
And I do think it could well be considered to be indeed a skin accord fragrance. That’s quite a subtle thing, though – I often wonder whether it’ s not just musky + a bit of lactonic + a bit of autosuggestion.

Lei really is similar to many other wonderful creamy skin scents. VS Heavenly, Omnia Crystalline EDP EL Sensuous Nude and Lacoste Pour Femme all come to mind. There is so much to be said for comfort scents, these are not meant to project and wow a crowd they are calming and subtle. A more personal scent experience. I am a contradiction when it comes to my perfume tastes. I love big loud heavy hitters BUT I also love soft, creamy, powdery, musky comfort scents. This is one of the best yet, the heliotrope and sandal really stand out for me, the pineapple adds a bit of a tropical vibe that makes this one unique. If you share my love of perfume soul food, this is a must have!

I lusted after this little beauty for quite some time before I finally caved, so it was a blind order. Well, you know how it goes sometimes – delightful on some but awful on others. I’m convinced it wasn’t the scent, it was my chemistry wearing the scent. It smelled of burning tires on me (gaaaah!), similar to the rotting rubber head of an old baby doll discovered in a dusty old chest found in the attic. Hate it when this happens. I keep telling myself that I know better, but sometimes that blind buy turns out to be a huge score! Lesson learned. Maybe.

    Eh… This can’t really be Armani ?
No way.. All I get is baby powder, I went with 4 sprays at first and couldn’t smell it after 5 minutes, I then tried about 10 the second time, nothing changed. I see more than a few notes, but my nose doesn’t pick up any.. It’s dry & doesn’t last. Shame.

I first picked up Armani Lei for half price a couple of years ago and loved it right away. I’m on my second bottle now & don’t see myself ever getting tired of it.
It’s my go-to safe work scent, where I don’t like to wear anything too strong or sweet. It’s a safe, clean, soft scent that I love & is very office friendly as it sits close to the skin (on me at least) and doesn’t offend anyone.
The bottle suits the frangrance too. It’s simple, functional, quick to grab in the morning & isn’t try-hard or attention-seeking. It is what it is & I love its understated elegance.

I agree with everyone who said Armani Lei starts out similar to a men’s cologne. A modern, vanillic one, sweet but aromatic, not an old school macho man aftershave. I think the effect is due to the the treatment of the bergamot, tonka and woods in this. I would have thought this has a lavender note, but apparently it doesn’t.
Over the time, the heliotrope, vanilla, almond and musk unfold more and more. The fragrance becomes more creamy with a bit of a doll skin vibe.
It’s warm and comforting in its way of mixing masculine and feminine notes, makes me think of cuddling or wearing your boyfriend’s sweater. On the other hand it also has something cool and tomboyish about it.
I like this, it’s great that Armani still makes this unique modern classic and that it’s quite affordable nowadays.
Just be careful about overspraying with Armani Lei, while it’s not an especially strong scent, too much of it can be a bit sharp and scratchy.

Initial burst of citruses and floral notes is actually quite pleasant and doesn’t bring deodorised men’s armpits to my mind- which I was worried about buying it blindly. In the dry down it reminds me of more musky version of YSL Manifesto Eclat.
Nonchalantly seductive. Scent of a clean, warm skin after a bath, treated with cloud of sweet smelling powder.

It was love at second sniff. That’s just so amazing scent. It’s a powdery one with hints of wood and spices. Most noticeable is vanilla for me and sandalwood which gives it a bit of masculinity that I like. Wearing this perfume makes me feel like a natural woman (just like Aretha Franklin sings).
Not to misunderstood anyone – it’s also pretty seductive scent so don’t be afraid to wear this one because it may seem to you like office scent. It’s office friendly, true, but it’s much more also. Kinda mysterious scent. A true classic!
    To me 9/10.

This perfume is unique aroma, in a good way. It’s refreshing soft, lasts long on my skin. Another smell, that most females don’t wear, that is a good thing, lol. Can be worn all year round, it’s not sharp smell or loud, If you like those kinds than this fragrance is not for you.

I just blind bought this based on reviews and notes, which I swore I would never do anymore. I am craving vanilla lately but usually love florientals and woody florals. Please tell me I did the right thing. 🙂
Is the name of this Lei but also other names like She? I get that lei is she in Italian.
I will post my review soon. I don’t remember this from the 90s when I was buying a lot of great perfume. Maybe I did not have much access to Armani or perfume boards, haha.

This was so unusual the first time I smelled it, pre vanilla obsession that everyone has now. This is vanilla but not a sweet sickly one. This is like an expensive ice cream mixed with all sorts of yumminess. Quite masculine, which I like. Not sure if you could get away with a blind buy as it is quite unique. Love it

I would call this a classic style fragrance, it is fresh to start with with loads of verbena citrus, then balsamic, floral and powdery. Reminiscent of a grandma’s pocket tissue. May work with someone else’s chemistry better, but on me it is a bit old-fashioned, not hip.

You know when you come across a perfume that’s totally different from anything you have ever smelled before? Well, that was the case with Lei when it came out in the late nineties. It was something totally new, and completely different from trending scents of the nineties. It came ant took the front stage.
For me Lei is a day time fragrance. Somewhat masculine, but still soft and so easy to like. I have owned several bottles, and I always replace one when I run out. Love also the fact that it has started to be that old that not many people use it anymore. Regardless of it’s time around, it still feels new and contemporary, both the bottle and the scent itself.
It is a definite Forever Love.

I’m so eager to smell this after my sister told me this perfume got her a free cab drive in Belgrade in the early 2000s. The driver was mesmerized with her perfume, he said it’s been an absolute pleasure driving her around the city. And anyone who’s been there knows that the taxi drivers would sell their soul to the devil for an extra few dinars. Must be good stuff then.

This is very light, but also very sweet and powdery perfume. I can sense the vanilla and citrus. It does not last as long as I wanted. It is very good for daytime and also for evening. It does not remind me of any other perfume. The male version of this perfume I also love very much.

As someone else pointed out, this fragrance truly has stood the test of time. I was beyond excited when I found it after thinking it had been discontinued.
I used this in the late 90s/early 2000s and completely fell in love with it the first time I wore it. It was among the first fragrances I collected when I discovered my passion for perfumes at a young age.
I’ve worn this fragrance everywhere, at any time of day, and throughout the year. It’s pretty adaptable, as angelfishie said, and always draws compliments.
I’m only now realizing that Sophie Labbe is the nose behind this fragrance. She’s the nose behind several others I love/have tested/own/want.
I have always been very wary of fragrances that contain lime/lemon in them, as well as those described as “powdery”. Lime/lemon do not work well with my body chemistry and *some* powdery scents simply don’t work for me. There’s something about them that I find offensive and somewhat sickening.
This fragrance does smell powdery, especially after it’s dried down, but it’s a lovely, soft, clean, creamy, and warm-ish powdery scent. For lack of a better word, EA Lei is simply endearing.
The blending of the notes in this fragrance is just so well done. There isn’t one note that’s screeching or overpowering (for me, anyway). The notes that would ordinarily come off tart/sharp (lime, pineapple, mandarin orange, bergamot) are balanced by everything else, particularly in the base notes.
If you use a heavy hand, you’ll likely find this strong enough to cause a headache or bother those around you who are sensitive to perfumes. Use a light hand and the fragrance will leave a clean, soft trail.
If you are very conservative with it, someone would have to stand at least at arms’ length to smell the scent, which is not a bad thing. The projection will be soft and clean enough to be really pleasant to the person smelling it.
I love this fragrance and plan to buy some more in case it disappears.

Discovering this fragrance – truly an oriental vanilla – felt like a dream come true! I wandered across it while on a vanilla-base kick last year, searching for the perfect warm, clean, woody vanilla. And, indeed, experiencing Armani Lei is like moving through a soulful dream.
The fragrance greets me with a lovely clean, bright, not-sweet citrus, somewhere between bergamot and lime, and immediately descends (or rises?) into infinite, gorgeous powder clouds: soft, warm, woody. To me there seem two beautifully-blended “facets” – one, the angelic vanilla-almond-heliotrope, light and fluffy, and a second, the sandalwood-oakmoss earthy-woodiness, lending more depth and a surprising, pleasing masculinity amidst the otherwise typically-feminine heart notes. The other smooth, soft notes I notice – amber, tonka, musk – wrap these facets into a glorious symphony – skin-scented, earthy, and heavenly all at once.
Lei really is incredibly adaptable – perfect for relaxing at home, but also appealing and interesting enough to wear out and about – it seems to catch compliments. Another reviewer mentioned this being a great interview scent and I completely agree; it makes me feel grounded, confident, attractive, and presentable, while having the character of skinscent and very natural clean so being unlikely to offend. Its warmth and woodiness make it lovely in the cold seasons while its cleanliness and citrus make it comfortable and refreshing in the warm.
And while it can certainly span all seasons, I think the glory of Lei is at its best on a cool fall day, wet gray morning and brisk blue-sky-sunshine afternoon. So particularly as the searing midsummer temperatures are finally beginning to give way to cool autumn-tinted breezes, I’m looking forward to wearing this again, and again, and again.

I love the opening and I love the middle stage of this perfume, but I can’t stand the dry down even though I love every single one of the base notes. But loving base notes separately does not mean that you’re gonna love the combination together with added top and middle notes still shining through the background.
I highly recommend you to try this before you purchase it. It looks really promising in the pyramid, but will not work for everyone.
Unfortunately it turns into a men’s cologne on my skin every time I wear it… really weird smelling by the way. You know that weird awkward guy that always stands close to the talking group during the party but never says or does anything – just listens and occasionally says something totally irrelevant and unfunny? That’s the kind of smell Emporio Armani Lei becomes on my skin. Just totally awkward.
I have been trying to like this for a while and tested it a couple of times, but unfortunately this will never work.

I can`t believe this one has been around for so long now!!! Back in the day I never had the money to even think of buying anything more expensive than Avon or Oriflame, so this one was way off the radar..My BF`s mum showed it to me – she likes all sorts of different perfs and this fell out of her bag the last time i saw her..I sniffed it a few times in Boots since and it kind of reminds me a bit of Burberry edt, except it`s not that dry, more woods and amber than powder and more creamy and elegant (Burberry often gave me a headache..) I probably wouldn`t buy it for myself but if anyone gave it to me as a pressie I`d use it every sometime to break away from sweeter and heavier fragrances as it is so much different.

So this one holds a lot of nostalgia and memories for me as its what I wore in the late 90s when I had not long started high school and loved this because it made me feel grown up. Best friend and I both wore it!
For me this is starts off as a deep, heady mix of amber and vanilla and dries down to a fresh citrus with a hint of woods in it.
I loved it at age 13 and still love it in my 30s. Another true classic that has stood the test of time!

Oh man, watching the featured TV ad of this takes me back. It used to air on MTV all the time in the late 90’s. I was still in elementary school at that point and I remember thinking the ad was so cool. I couldn’t wait to be a teenager so I could make out to Massive Attack with some hot guy I met online!
Lei’s green, citrusy notes are strong on me. There’s plenty of lime and bergamot with a smidgen of pineapple, along with a deodorant-like muskiness which reads fresh, but it’s buried under dry sandalwood and powdery heliotrope with a bit of vanilla to round the sharpness off. Contrary to several other reviewers, I think this is sexy. It warms on your skin and blooms into this cloud of triphop and bedroom eyes. To the wantlist it goes.

If you could sum it up in one word: sophistication.
There’s an incredible amount of woody nuances right away, but the femininity is undeniable. Many people say that at ‘the first smell’ it my look like it is a male cologne, but in my skin it translates to a beautiful feminine perfume, nothing citrusy nor fruity, nor young, nor flowery. I would say it is an empowering fragrance, the woman who wears it is discrete, but cannot remain unnoticed. The first time I smelled this one I was 15 years-old, and ever since I related this fragrance to the ultimate form of sophistication. Some say that, from the Armani lines of fragrances, a CEO’s perfume would be Armani Code, but I definitely disagree. This one is. If you like Love, from Chloe (which is certainly more soapy and creamy, please don’t misunderstand me here), you will probably like this one. In terms of elegance and discretion, I’d dare to say they are quite alike. Except that Chloe would be a romantic version of it, more sweet and powdery. It lasts, on my skin, for 6-8h. Soft sillage.

One of my absolute favourite perfumes. On me it settles into a soft, powdery, feminine fragrance and I receive great comments of how clean & lovely it is. I always like this in my collection, stunning.

  36. :

It’s hard for me to find fresh scents I love, but this is one of the few I’ve truly fallen for. It’s my easy-to-wear, jeans and t-shirt scent, but it still has a beautiful, creamy sweetness and depth to it that I love and that makes it more interesting to me (makes me feel really put together in my jeans and t-shirt). I love that it’s a bit masculine.
To me this is somewhat related to Lacoste pour femme, my other favorite in this category. They both have heliotrope and sandalwood, and they’re similiar in being both sporty/clean and warm/soft/sweet at the same time.

I don’t know what type this is, woody, powdery, doesn’t really matter.. because this is SPECTACULAR! I received my bottle yesterday and I sprayed my wrist and ..wow, just wow. Can’t describe this, you have to try it. My only regret is it doesn’t last longer on my skin. I’m definitely getting a 100ml bottle soon. And speaking of bottles.. the bottle is wow too, as in it looks weird, deodorant like, and then you spray and just boom! – it hits you. Very sexy scent indeed, but not today’s “sexy”, definitely old time, less is more ‘sexy’. Top 5 scent for me and permanently in my wardrobe.

I was this close to purchasing Lei for this upcoming summer until I read the comparison to VS Heavenly. I went to compare the two while I was shopping and they are quite similar except Heavenly is soapy. Lei is rounder, warmer, and emphasizes vanilla and musk more.
However, for the summer, Heavenly seems like the better bet. I am going to have to compare the two once it becomes warmer out because Heavenly started off very funny on my skin compared to Lei.
Overall, Lei is beautiful for most seasons, not as strong, and will not offend. There’s musk and it isn’t as masculine as people say it is. Just doesn’t smell like LVEB lol.Just really nice and probably worth it if you’re looking for a scent that you can wear all seasons. I unfortunately am looking for a summer scent specifically I guess.
Lei also reminds me a little bit of Armani Code Satin – not the same but close.

Woods, musk and lily of the valley. The first blast is very masculine. Unwearable for me I think. Which is disappointing. I may try this another time to gather my thoughts. But the overall impression I got was men’s cologne- generic at that.
As it dries down it becomes softer and the florals show. I wonder if I tried it again I would like it. But initially it was a mess of strong notes and woods. Yet I am still interested to know more of it.
What bothers me is that it is not at all what I garnered from the reviews. No powder or vanilla, nothing soft. Just musk, bergamot and woods. Astringent even. Not sure what to think of it yet.
PS so I found the paper strip in my bag, and I detect the vanilla and pineapple. There is a nutty fruity mellowness to it which I could not detect from my hand. I understand it more now but there is still a distinct masculinity to it. Keen to try again.

Smells beautiful on me, like vanilla powder with a hint of pineapple maybe lime too. I have to say it smells very much like heavenly(2013) but this is softer, prettier more of a powdered vanilla heavenly. I like this one much better. I can understand about this smelling abit masculine as well as I got that from it too.
    EDIT
After a few hours now… oh my this smells phenomenal!! ooo

Yes, this is LOVELY! My first proper wear of this perfume, initially I smell bergamot, as it settles I’m picking up on the sandalwood and vanilla. This is better than VS Heavenly, in my opinion. Of course, I love both.
Armani is well blended and easy on the nose of the wearer and those around. A soft citrus, powdery, vanilla. Beautiful and classy, I love armani:)

I’ve already written a long review for armani she, claiming that I want to choose it as my signature scent.I think I have to write another review because I’ve found out that it can’t be my signature, although I still love it
I’m a vanilla lover and Armani she is a vanilla dominant scent.vanilla is mostly warm, sweet, gourmandish but not here.vanilla is powdery and cold in Armani she.it still has soothing and cozy quality of vanilla scents but it also has a coldness which adds a special class to it.so if you’re a vanilla lover and you love vanilla’s creamy sweetness, you may miss it here.armani she is a vanilla scent which is cold, fresh, powdery, soapy, clean, classy and cozy.but it’s not sexy.it can be a great to use it at office, dates, casual and daily uses, restaurants, cinema or whenever and wherever you wanna feel clean and elegant but it can’t satisfy you’re gourmand needs and can’t be a hot, sexy fragrance.I still adore it because nothing can be everything at the same time
I’ll still use it,love it,repurchase it and recommend it but just don’t call it my signature
And I don’t think that it’s a year round perfume anymore.it doesn’t work well on me in freezing cold weather.try to find best temperature for it on your own skin because it can differ from a cold and dry soap to a soft adorable creamy scent in different temps and on different people
Armani is a great brand and lei is one of it’s bests.I still believe that it’s a must have for all she s

Never sniffed anything that comes close to be reminiscent of this perfume at all! Really unique. A vanilla-woody-musk done right with a lot of “ooumph” to it. Beautifully feminine and elegant, and with a lot of lasting power.

Emporio Armani Lei/Elle/She/Ella/etc/etc….. is Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful!!!!
Gentle, soft, creamy, heliotrope, vanilla, tonka bean, almond, lime, cedarwood, pineapple, musk – and everything else in there – all in a gorgeous, most perfect blend.
Strong and long-lasting, but gentle; subtle. Very alluring. Very very feminine. Softly spicey. Never overwhelming (for anyone). A gentle, comforting friend. A true friend, who is unobtrusive – especially the outside packaging!
I’m in love with her. My husband even loves her on me, and he hates most perfumes.
    PERFECTION.

Oh this is beautiful! Gorgeous! Delicious! Rich and fruity, light and flowery, smooth and creamy – all in one bottle!! So sweet and comforting. So delicate and feminine. Truly wonderful. Everything about it is fabulous. It stays on my skin all day and way into the evening, and has a lovely gentle sillage that is faintly noticeable by anyone within a few feet of you. It’s such an ATTRACTIVE perfume. I feel beautiful, and young – but also very womanly in it. I get many many compliments whenever, and wherever I wear this beauty.
I adore the simple packaging and bottle (?) too, and it’s gorgeous to use! Fun!
I definitely smell all the notes, which waft around me, in various combinations, throughout the day and evening, but for me the heliotrope, pear, vanilla and almonds are the best part!
    A totally divine perfume!

I kept buying this back in college. It was perfect for either sunny or damp weather. I found it very classy because of it’s slightly musky vanilla note it gave off. Lasted forever on my skin and clothes. Not in a cloying way but it just lingers beautifully.

After couple of years wearing kenzo amour as my signature scent,I relized that I’m too curious and too in love with fragrance world to stick to one perfume all the time,so I started to try every perfume I could and blind buy others that are not available to try,I had the chance to get familiar to lots of great perfumes, there are some fragrances that I enjoy and use more than others, actually there are lots of perfumes that I really love but I can’t wear any of them forever,I mean I love them in certain times,I love some of them just during hoter days like boucheron quatre or tommy girl,I love some of them just in cold weather like armani code or safanad marly,I love to wear some of them to parties, special occasions and when I’m dressed up like serge lutens fleur d’oranger or some of them are great but just when I’m in my casual clothes or I’m at work or college like bvlgari omnia amethyst,I thought now that I own more than 200 different perfumes, now that I love lots of fragrances from celebrities to niche ones, I can’t name something that I can wear everyday,no matter how is the weather, which mood I’m in or how I’m dressed but actually there is one,Armani she is THE ONE for me
It opens kind of fresh and soapy on me,I don’t know which notes are responsible for this soapyness I only know I really injoy it(I usually don’t like soapy scents)it’s not sharp, just bright, clean and fresh and not as citrusy or fruity as top notes suggest,If I try really hard I can detect a faint tuberose, lime and pear but they are very well blended,as florals begans to show up,initial soapyness faides, dominant floral note and the only one I can put my finger on is heliotrope, lots of soft powdered delicious heliotropes, fluffy and pure lovely, drydown is warmer and sweeter with soft vanilla, almond, tonka and Clean musk, not much sandalwood for me,it’s a vanilla, heliotrope heaven and these two,are my most beloved notes in perfumary
Armani lei is soft, clean, warm, cozy and fresh the same,it’s elegant and comforting the same time and simple but also unique,it’s great in heat and cold, great as a casual scent or as a cuddly blanket to relax at home or as an elegant perfume to wear when you’re dressed up,it’s even an inoffensive one for office, yet it has character,it’s modern yet ageless,I can see a young girl wearing it as it would be good on her sophisticated mother,it’s not a loud perfume, not also a light one,it’s longlasting on my skin and sillage is good, noticeable for others in a soft way…I can see nothing masculine here,it’s pure femininity with all it’s paradoxes..it’s not exaggerated,it’s a normal woman in today’s world, not too sweet, not strange,it’s a typical woman with it’s soft, simple beauties, some of them only detectable by her own Prince charming
I love this lovely, clean babe more than any other perfume, though it’s not a strange, standout fragrance,I’m not either.I don’t wear it always but if I was forced to choose just one perfume and live the rest my life with it,my choice would be my armani lei..it even doesn’t have an eye-catching bottle and pretty bottles are really important for me,but it has something much more important,I can be myself while wearing it,not a majestic queen, not a heartless whore, not a successful, serious boss, not a Pretty teenage chick,I can be myself,a normal, typical she..even bottle is simple, comfortable, practical and modern
I wish Armani never, ever discontinue or reformulate it,I’m really worried of this,it’s that much good that it can be taken as gauranted.it’s a pitty my highest rank for loving a perfume is 5hearts,it deserves more than this
    ❤❤❤❤❤

I wear this when I feel super chic in my,smart-casual clothes.
It completes the look with the really nice fitting, clean and quality jeans and Burberry-like coats and super sleek hair.
It’s the scent of the “posh” I think! Screams class and high quality while being casual.

I used to wear this in the late 90’s when it first came out,but I never re purchased it, don’t know why, and now I really want it again!!!
I think at the time I was not in the best place, and this fragrance really lifted my senses at the time. It was a tonic!
Now I’m in a good place and content I’m curious wether to re purchase again. I always loved the opening this fragrance gave,so light and fresh yet you could smell the sharpness of the lime, and pineapple. and the dry down was very comforting, I love sandalwood together with the musk and amber it gave some depth and warmth.
Then it gave me confidence maybe now it could give me a haven to hold on to.That’s the beauty of fragrance the senses awaken the mind to a whole new outlook on life!
She by Armani certainly gave me that and could again!
Edit: it’s nice to know that Lei hasn’t been reformulated as well.

I got this perfume as a gift and i find that i enjoy it only after about 10 mins of wearing it, once the softer notes kick in. Still, i wound up giving it to my dad because i felt like there was a certain masculinity about it that was much more suited to him than to me. Admittedly, i like scents that i consider much more feminine to my taste in that i like it to be a touch more flowery. Perfumes with that mysterious male edge just aren
