Amazingly different, unusual to say the least, gorgeous perfume! I love it. I love the crazy combination of green; soft sweet creamy caramel, and vanilla; delicious juicy tangy fruit; passionflower with it’s sweet fruity smell; the zing of the pepper to spice things up; and the gentle soft fluffy musk to smooth everything over. It’s a gorgeous mixture. So interesting, and it works terribly well on me. It’s beautiful!
It’s a real taste (ah…smell!) sensation! Very wonderful creative and delicious. I think it’s great. Terrific. It has beautiful staying power too, but is also really lovely to spray on every now and then, for an added boost of fun! Really good perfume. Yum!

I love it! Such a unique take on the fresh and sweet theme. At first I get the green notes, like crushed leaves with pepper and a hint of orange, then mango and a hint of peach appears, followed with the sweetness of delicate vanilla and caramel. Musk appears when the composition settles, and the fruity notes then disappear. It may be the first perfume where I can actually smell all the notes coming to life one after another (minus Passion Flower because I don’t really know how it smells like).

This is exactly what I expect from a niche parfum company. It smells so different and trendsetting!
Like nothing others. Big sweet, gourmand fragrance with caramel, green notes, milk chocolate, extremely sweet red grapefruit at his most delicious peak of ripeness. Maybe there are more fruits, but I can not identify them. Vanilla is in it too. Luscious, thick, extremely rich juice in a bottle looking like my baby bottle can from the childhood with wonderful silver stars on it.
Emotione Divine is a small sister of Mauboussin for femme, it has the same signature on it, a summer day fresh version of it, if you want so. But it does not mean, is weaker or more watery or not good for winter. It means, it smells fresh without having this usual citric/lemony/soapy connotation, the freshness has here an completely another definition, but it smells fresh. Sweet fresh. I have never experienced such a beautiful freshness before. And there are no plums in it.
An another fragrance from the house Mauboussin, I felt helpless in love with it and immediately stocked with 3 bottles more because I am scared, it could be discontinued. Even if I swore to me, never buy for stock again.
BUT: Ahhh and ohhh!! Emotione divine take my breath!
    Edit: Only for summer.

I personally find the idea of Emotion Divine very grant. Yes, at first, when the caramel plus green hits the nose, it smells so strange, but not bad. What you should judge, though, imho is the sillage, even in this stage, which is divine. Never smell too close, that is never, what you or others smell while wearing anyways.
It is so gourmandy, the first hit even reminded a split second of Angel, than it morphs to become the exact part – but intensified – of Mauboussin EdP: The gourmand base. As I love Mauboussin (one of the few gourmands I love) I think that Emotion Divine is really onto something. Try it and be open minded, maybe you sniff, what I sniff?
Or maybe I should go for Secretions, as they both like to be compared to each other. Maybe that’ll be the proof, that I go for the extreme weird stuff, who knows?
P.S.: I would happily take all your unappreciated bottles of Emotion Divine. PM me. 🙂

The idea to combine caramel with green notes is very bad. It normally creates a nauseating effect…

i don`t want to be rude but this perfume smell like a dead people..it is truly annoying scents i ever smell..its kinda weird cause there are some notes that i like which is caramel and vanilla but i did`t smell those notes at all..it really gross on the skin .. probably the passion flower is overpowering so it just covered up those sweet notes..i don`t seem this fragrance as sweet..it like syntetic plasticy kind of scent..dont like it all

This perfume has attached itself to me in a very strange emotional way. Someone I knew had a bottle and the scent would linger around the places they had been. It is a hard combination to grasp but in some strange way emotion divine is the most memorable perfume I have ever smelled. It is a one of a kind winter scent i think.

    What a perfume!
To me an aromatic or fresh gourmand…
Maybe not shocking, but really strange.
Opening with green fresh cucumber, then comes caramel with a ‘milk chocolate’ feeling. I could also detect a soft fruit – peach.
    I don’t think it’s artificial, but it’s totally extraterrestrial!
    ODD!
    Such a peculiar combo 🙂
    Agree about big staying power.

Don’t have much to add to the comments from ‘guests’ : it put me off. I was quite happy to be at home for testing, because I couldn’t wash it off fast enough. I don’t know which note it is, but to me/ on me it was disgusting. From what i could smell, I don’t know how this can be considered ‘chypre’. It smelled only like passionflower, vanilla and yuck. Only positive aspect (to me negative in this special case): great staying power!

I like to put it on at night before going to bed for sweet dreams, it is great on a winter frosty air. Being neither glamorous nor sensual it is still inspirational in terms of simple pleasures like those from childhood. It is neither mature nor serious at all.
I bought it unsniffed and first I was shocked to find out that the opening sounds like acetone mixed with sugar. But after a while it becomes iridescent. One ray of light is changing another. Basically green leaves and caramel are a very strange combination, but I have to admit I like the scent as one of a kind.
