A traditional amber scent that starts out with an upper layer of green and aquatic notes. There’s a little bit of lemony citrus, too, that becomes stronger as the green notes die down. At the base is an amber composition, rich in patchouli and labdanum (or cistus oil), and throughout the whole is a note like citrus oil gone a little off. Because of the aquatic notes, the amber seems thin and muted.
The combination of amber and aquatic is unusual, but here it works. After a couple of hours it dries down to a subtle skin scent that maintains the aquatic-amber character and persists for 6-8 hours. I like my amber straight, not mixed with aquatic notes, so this is not for me. However, if you like aquatics, this is a well made and unusual take on the genre.

Salty amber and wood notes. This is much less effervescent than the notes make it sound, but it is also a fairly dead-on representation of salt air and amber perfume in mix. Salt, driftwood, amber…It’s a painting in a bottle. A must-try for amber lovers, as it’s an aspect I have never seen before.

This scent is, at least to an Amber lover such as myself, truly unique and beautiful. Yes, there are alot of Amber scents out there, but this one adds a twist of salty freshness to the richness of Amber that I adore! It is an Amber that reflects the ending of a day at the beach; I have played in the water all day and am now sitting, tired but peaceful, awaiting the sunset. I hear the waves crash, feel the sand between my toes; The heat of the day still radiates from my skin but the breeze off the ocean is cooling and fragrant. If contentment had a scent, this would be it!
