Elysée in my design was one of the last and largest major errors of The Apothecary, in the women’s portfolio released by the House in the perfume market. It evokes me reformulations that the House always does, destroying their own fragrances putting them sausage water, wind, water and shocks alcohol level of 51 Pirassununga. Here they had no work to release something worthy like Lily Essence and then mutilating, not already launched mutilated and exceeded the reality of one day proposed producing the House.
Opens with the memory of the smell of Freesia, that good that bright floral blooms and while passing a dirt printing, it is clean and appreciative. This aroma there is a uni through poignant aspect of jasmine, white flowers or something, but everything around seconds and then gone the magical amalgam of flowers. Topping a smell through gourmand idem, which refers to the mass aroma to ice cream, but with a background lightly burned by Cinnamon, medium hot and artificial.
Following, Elysée disappears completely! As yes, no dry down the fragrance ?! Yes, he disappears and then returns with a sneaky splash Peony in a middle oily vibe reminiscent of the most perfect discontinued Crystal Aura Avon which fixed two days on the skin as well as designing the surrounding neighborhood. I also feel a Rose all shattered and suffocated by nothing, lost in a void that not even sure if there is.
At the base, the fragrance does not have a specific north because it tries to be a chypre, but do not get embarrassed and just gets in the Floralzão beaten, even commonplace. Can you perceive a vanilla awkwardly trying to play a sweetness with Amber, a light ardorzinho woodsy, perhaps Cedar and Sandalwood with a light sprinkling of resinous chords, all in less than 50 min, can you believe it ?!
Honestly, my disappointment continues with the newly releases of The Apothecary, failed to hit again, but I believe in the “potential” of the House, I believe that better days might, after all they are our land and I as a cultural researcher, I cherish a lot for what being close and in a way, through social representations me is inside and outside idem. The body of work, which for me was saved only was the beautiful and transcendent bottle of Elysée, in the […].

OMG <3
Finally a national ‘version’ of For Her. I’m a Narciso Rodriguez lover, and For Her is one of my most adored fragrances (along with Lovely, from Sarah Jessica Parker).
Unfortunately, both (NR and Lovely) are offensively expensive here in Brazil, so, to find something from a brazilian company who smells JUST LIKE NR, to me is a blessing.
At least in my skin, is a musky-flowery scent, with that vague citrus background. love love love <3
