Odin New York presents a new collection of fragrances The White Line, announced as a ‘more approachable and lighter’ than the previous Black collection. Within this new line, three perfumes were launched: Efflora, Milieu Rosa and Vert Reseda whose floral compositions are signed by perfumer Jean Claude Delville of Drom suggesting a more feminine face of the house.
Top notes of Efflora include neroli, tangerine and Turkish rose oil, followed by geranium, lavender, grapefruit blossom and sambac jasmine absolute, while thee base features oak absolute, vetiver, patchouli, white moss and sandalwood.
The White Line collection will be available starting from November 2014. The falcons are cube-shaped, colored in white and arrive as Eau de Parfum. Each fragrance is available as 100ml.
The nose behind this fragrance is Jean-Claude Delville.

Definitely a lighter version, even too light for a personal scent. To me it smells zesty and a little green. Pleasant but reminds a house cleaner – a very luxurious one.

This smells so much like Hermès Un Jardin sur le Nil. It has the same citrus effervescence but with an added powdery green tea note. It smells like a fresh shower, with mimosas in the afternoon. I like it a lot but prefer Hermès since it’s more natural smelling. This one smells like perfume (duh!) but it’s a beautiful scent nonetheless. Not incredibly unique but not commonplace either. It’s a little flat but it lasts 4 hours, closer to the skin. Pretty but not life changing,

Ive got a sample from this, and tried two times on my skin. Im a little disappointed, because from all the notes I have tangerine and neroli, but nothing else. It is bitter on me. Thatswhy I dont like it. The longevity is moderate and there is no projection.

I had the chance to try this when I stopped by the Odin store in the East Village. It’s really beautiful. Effervescent and bubbly, the citrus is there with the pretty floral. It feels like an easy perfume to wear and love.
