Description

The house of Christian Audiger is adding another fragrant pair to their Ed Hardy collection. The pair is named Born Wild, available in version for men and women from November 2010.

Moto of Ed Hardy Born Wild For Women is “Let this daring fragrance take you on an adventure as impossible to resist as the woman wearing it.“ The feminine version is created by perfumer Calice Becker who wanted to depict a tropical island, warm sunset, long beaches and tasty cocktails. The perfume opens with refreshing fruity aromas of blackberry and black currant buds. A heart develops into intoxicating accords of magnolia and peach blossom. Notes of base continue the story with flowers and wood – lily of the valley and sandalwood and finally only attractive scent of musk lingers on the skin.

Flacon of the new edition of Born Wild for Women is coloured in gentle pink, but a painting/tattoo on its front side reveals its true nature – that of a lady pirate. The flacon also features a pirate-style seal and signature of Ed Hardy. The fragrance arrives as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum accompanied by shimmering body lotion and bath and shower gel.

I bought this because it smelled so good on one of my work colleagues. I now wear it to work and it has received more compliments compared to any other perfume I wear. I work in a hospital and the patients seem to love it. One patient thought they could smell raspberries and another thought they could smell lemon sorbet.

I like the blackberry in this. Nice.

It may have been Born Wild, but any wildness has been tamed out of this girly fruity sweet perfume. It’s nothing groundbreaking or complicated…it just smells good and is easy to wear. And some days that’s all I’m looking for in a scent.

This is so adorable…..I’d feel as if I was mean to a puppy if I were to condemn this. I’m far too old for it but it fits my personality….childish!
With hugs and kisses, I get “Oh you smell GOOD!” and never once have I gotten a reply…”You smell too young!”

One of my favorite fruity fragrances. Very fresh. Not too sweet. Compliments from guys.

I would say this is a very fresh beautiful scent. If you know of someone who loves Rue21 scents, even loves celebrity fruity scents, then this is a great choice as a gift. Good for ages 14-25, the more I wear it, the more I love it.

I love this and I don’t care if I’m too “old” for it. It smells delicious and it’s a nice change from all the patchouli/incense/heavy/complex perfumes that are so popular right now. I appreciate a good designer perfume, byt I also like things that just smell good. I bought a large bottle on ebay and I’m not sorry I did.

Bought this as a blind buy on clearance and ew. Nope. Smelled cheap (which it was..)

Well, Im no spring chicken but I like this. Yes, intitially you are hit big time with peach blossom, bubble gum and some blackberry. Sweet is the word. Thankfully when the alcohol has gone its more blossom than fruit. Yes, its girly but I like to wear it in the springtime when the fruit tree blossom is out. The cassia does a good job of giving a bit of edge to the scent that stops it turning into a childs fragrance. The lily of the valley also lifts the scent away from the bubble gum. Im pleased that the musk doesnt make its presence very obvious on me. I rate this highly as a pleasant fruit tree blossom scent to wear in cool conditions and only by day. Moderate sillage and longevity.

Extremely young, smells like my first fragrance (as alittle girl) I received a play perfume and bubble bath set. I would never suggest this fragrance to anyone over 16. However.’it would work well for a very young niece or daughter’s first fragrance.

The opening notes smell like sickening air freshener (I almost given up on it) but it dried down to a very lovely flowery and strawberry bubblegum scent. So to wear this, I have to spray it and wait about 10-15 minutes for the lovely smell to come out. I enjoy this perfume but it is not my favourite

I wanted to try this scent, but I didn’t have any confidence that I’d like it, so I bought a bottle of Ed Hardy Born Wild Body Wash. I’m glad I didn’t get the EDT; this is a girly, fruity, powerfully sticky sweet synthetic syrupy berry & peach blossom smell, & I am not a fan of wearing berry scents. I didn’t really like Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift, & I don’t love Born Wild, either. But if you like sweet, sticky, syrupy synthetic berries, this might be the fragrance for you. I can see why people like it, it’s just not for me.
The body wash is powerfully scented, but it also smells kinda plasticky. It doesn’t bother me too much, & I assume it’s not an issue with the EDT. I actually like this as a body wash scent; I can smell it briefly in the shower, but no one can smell it on me afterward, including me.

The first time I smelled this perfume it was the lotion, and I was surprised as to how powerful the scent was just for being a lotion. It was almost like I poured a whole bottle of the perfume on myself. I fell in love with the strength of the scent and just loved the smell so I bought a bottle. It is a clean, fruity scent, deffinetly a perfume to buy if you don’t know what to get and want to make sure it smells nice on you. But its not a typical clean fruity fragrance, it is addicting, youthful and deffinetly summery. If you live in a hot or humid area this is a perfume that will do nicely on you and not have that suffocating affect because it is invigorating.

i received a lot of compliments wearing this beautiful perfume. Maybe it’s the weather here in my country but as always, good perfumes will be discontinued!

It smells like strawberry bubble gum. And what exactly is wrong with that? Hell, I like strawberry bubble gum! It’s not groundbreaking but it smells good. And honestly, for people who don’t know about perfumery (like most men), this probably smells better than the pricey stuff.
I have quite a few spendy perfumes in my collection and I know that perfumery can be a form of art. But sometimes, you just want to wear a tshirt and jeans and smell like bubble gum while you clean your apartment. And this is so cheap you don’t have to worry about “wasting” it. I bought 3.4oz of this from TJ Maxx for about $15 and I have no regrets.

Very sweet watery and juicy, yet quite a refreshing zesty scent too.
You must love sweet scents to enjoy this one.
“Born Wild” ?? There is nothing particularly wild about this fragrance. It is pure innocence I think. Has a tutti-fruity watermelon youthful vibe with it.
The drydown is a soft candied musk. Perfect for your 13 year old niece.

This is clean fruity fragrance-nothing to get excited about. It reminded me of Ralph Lauren Ralph or one of the VS body fruity body sprays.
Its pleasant, especially in hot weather or after the shower but I am glad I paid $14.99 in a discount store for this as I don’t think its worth lot of money. Its kind of generic

Am I the only one who thinks this smells like the perfume “Samba” in the purple bottle?
    Shampoo-y freesia + fruits.

Ed Hardy Born Wild falls into that guilty pleasure category in my fragrance wardrobe. The bottle is pink with a sense of humor, which is exactly how I would describe the fragrance. I do have to give the Ed Hardy label credit, their bottles are sturdy and interesting looking.
Born Wild is an accumulation of blackberries, sweets and musk with a hint of sour/tart. There is a hint of floral notes, but the blackberries are center stage. Whenever I wear it, it feels like I am a little kid chewing bubble gum. It smells artificial, but in a pleasant way.
This is one fragrance that I get consistent compliments on. I think that is because it is so accessible as a scent. Born Wild has a little bit longer than average lasting power with an average silage. I can usually smell it faintly around the 5-6 hour mark.
I think it is a fun, cheerful scent that is a mood lifter. Born Wild is probably a safe bet if you enjoy simple fruity-florals with an artificial edge.

I just bought this off of amazon, and as soon as it came in the mail I just had to smell it. I loved it, just as I’ve always loved Ed Hardy perfume since I first received a bottle of it for a present on Christmas. It’s fruity, girly, yet floral

Beautiful scent but too light for my taste and lacks “personality”. I was looking to buy it after I purchased the amazing Hearts& Daggers Love Kills Slowly but sadly this one isn’t as long lasting and perfectly designed. Zero lasting power and intensity.

This reminds me a little bit of DKNY Candy Apples Juciy Berry. There are a few differences though. This perfume is interesting, and something I wouldn’t usually wear. Ed Hardy is one of my favorite makers of perfume. To me it smells like grape soda, which I really don’t like. The smell isn’t horriable, it’s just not my cup of tea. Overall I give this perfume a 6/10.

I do not know how the nose managed to do this, but he/she did?
Only a person with a keen interest in unusual plant species would pick this up. This fragrance smells exactly. I mean exactly like the ‘Queen of The Night’. Queen of the Night is a tropical rain forest epiphyte, which I have incidentally been documenting over the past 15 years. It’s not an easy plant to get to flower as it is fussy with it’s preference for position and microclimate.
Queen of the night puts out impressive blooms which flower only at night and once only, but at times there may be dozens of flowers on this moon motivated species, which for those of you not familiar with this plant. Looks a lot like those Egyptian Fluer Di Lis that one sees Pharoahs holding from thousands of years ago. It is silk like and iridescent capturing many hues although it is a white flower. The blooms themselves are huge well over 20 centimetres or so in diametre. I foot in the old imperial measurement. The fronds grow quite large and resemble a giant Zygo cacti. Or zygonium in techincal terms.
Anyway the only way to describe this scent is it’s flavournoid. Slightly akin to an over ripe banana. Yet ever so subtle, one wonders why the plant can reproduce at all?
This is just a vague description.
The unusual thing about ‘Born Wild’ as it reminds me of QOTN, and the fragrance seems to follow one and floats around one rather than on the skin itself. It can appear rather intoxicating, just like ‘Queen of The Night’.
I am not familiar with the other fragrances that similar so I really cant vote. My only disappointment is the longevity of ‘Born Wild’. I wish it lasted longer on my skin. The fragrance in my opinion can be worn at any time of the day or night. Best suited to warmer months.
I like the betty boopish design, yet find the over bottle design, not the art work, just the bottle a little awkward to handle.
    Cheers T.

I received it as a gift. It smells very clean, it’s light and has a slight floral scent to it. When I smell it I think soapy and floral, I like it and my boyfriend has complimented it. Smells nicer in small amounts, even though the scent is light it goes a long way.

  25. :

I bought this on a blind buy the other day, and I have to say I’m not super impressed! The main note in this fragrance is an overwhelming berry. I personally dont really like fruity scents, so take my opinion with a grain of salt if you do! After the inital blast of fruit and berries, it starts to show some floral undertones, which, unfortunatly, make it smell like a fruit-scented shampoo. All in all, it’s a polite, nonoffensive fruity floral scent (that dies down REALLY fast to a musky floral). I’m not a fan of it personally, but who knows! It could be exactly right for someone (maybe).

My favorite of them all when layered with the lotion it smells like candy I just wish it was in a slender bottle like the others and not this big aquarium looking thing of a bottle.

I got this as a gift for my co worker who told me she loves “teenage” scents (we’re in our early 30’s) after smelling my recent Tickled Pink purchase. I did a little digging and found that the Ed Hardy Scents had a lot in common with it so I suggested she try one of those since they are easier to come by. While I was out at Marshall’s I spotted a 1.7oz bottle @$12 so picked it up for her. Once I got home I read that it smelled very similar to the Tickled Pink so I tried a side by side comparison on my arm. VERY similar indeed! Its uncanny actually. This however, is fruitier and stronger. When I woke up in the morning I smelled both test spots and Born Wild was still noticeable while TP had long since disappeared.
I can SMELL that my co-worker has worn it daily since I gifted her. I am happy she likes it! I asked if she sprays a lot because the scent is so noticeable all day (but not annoyingly so) and she says she doesn’t use much just few spays on her neck and chest.. So on her the sillage and longevity is great! If your taste lean toward the straight up fruity and “teenage”, I would recommend this. It is not tropical at all nor is it syrupy sweet or sour…it just is. IMO its nothing special. Depending on the person it could be “loud” so you definitely have to like fruit in your scents to wear this. Not my taste even as a gift but on her it works.

As predictable as this fragrance may be, I can’t help liking it. Born Wild for Women is your typical, run-of-the-mill fruity floral, with tons of sugar and a hint of shampoo.
I first tested this fragrance whilst out shopping for some cosmetics in a local pharmacy. The pink, rectangular bottle, with its tattoo design caught my eye, so I reached over to the tester and sprayed some on my arm. I was nonchalant at first, not overly thrilled by what I was smelling, so I continued focusing on other things. However the more this fragrance settled, the more interesting it became.
Born Wild for Women is a really pleasant fragrance. The blackberry and cassia are only very mild on my skin, not nearly as juicy as I feared they would be. The sweetness doesn’t bother me whatsoever, although I must admit that Born Wild for Women does smell a little juvenile.
For an inexpensive fruity floral, Born Wild for Women is relatively well done. I also enjoyed Ed Hardy for Women, another fruity floral from this brand. This fragrance would make a safe gift for any young woman. It’s not an imposing or irritating scent at all.
The longevity was so-so, and the sillage average. I didn’t expect much but I ended up liking Born Wild for Women more than I thought I would. I will probably revisit this fragrance again once the weather warms up.

Definately more of a generic Ed Hardy scent. Straight up fruit. I still prefer scents with pizazz like Villian, Love/Luck, and Skull/Roses.
It’s just fruity. Along the lines of the Original perfume and Hearts/Daggers. Totally wearable, but no OOMPH for me.

  30. :

This is a light, fruity, floral scent. I can detect blackberry, soft peach and floral notes. It’s nice at first, but fades quickly. This is definitely nicer than other Ed Hardy fragrances and is more mature. Born Wild is refreshing while other Ed Hardy scents are overly sweet in a synthetic way. Born Wild is an uplifting, pretty scent.
UPDATE: Born Wild is great, paired with Bath and Body Works’ Amber Blush Body Cream. The cream enhances the blackberry notes in the fragrance! It makes for a yummy combination!

My boyfriend gave me the set as a gift for my birthday because he liked how it smelled. I had never smelled it before he gave it to me but I loved it ! I think it must be my favorite perfume . it smells so like fruity floral sweet fresh. its not too strong but is enough for me. I think this is a younger woman scent , im 19 i like it. I feel its for like 17-25 age group

I have a little collectors box of these Ed Hardy perfumes and have been trying them. This one is extremely strong on first spray and it is strong on the blackberry which on me smells like cranberry and has the same overpowering effect that Daisy Oh So Fresh has for me. It is just so strong and so sweet. I had the same issues with Yves Saint Lauren Parisienne edp just too much.
As this settles it smells like bubble gum and strawberry for some unknown reason. I think it is nice but not as nice as his other ones and inevitably I was going to like some more than others so I have to say this one is a little too much for me it doesn’t have the smoothness or creaminess that his other ones have. To be honest it got on my nerves as it clung to my skin all day and seemed to get stronger and stronger as I moved around. If I liked the smell it would be worth the price to me because it lasts so long on my skin but it is just too sweet for me and I am not sure why as I like sweet perfumes when I am in the mood but this no not really.
I may have sprayed too hard so I will try a little spray on one spot on the back of my neck so it is not so under my nose and see how I go. Nice perfume though for those that do like this sort of smell. It is very fresh and sweet and a real blast of blackberry on first spray very uplifting but you have to put up with it for seemingly hours as it doesn’t change a lot. I am attracted to this brand as I like the way they blend the fruits with a smoothness and this one just doesn’t do that for me.

well, I really like the other Ed Hardy scents, especially the original.I had been stalking this one, always waiting for a good price.Received it as a mother’s day gift, and was so excited! From the notes,it should’ve been just my thing, blackberry, cassis and magnolia are a few of my favorite notes in fragrances. And it is nice, sweet, fruity, and not overly flowery. but it is a bit, generic.Smells much the same as other fruity/florals,nothing in it for me to say, oohh wow I really love this.Nothing to differentiate it,to make it stand out from the crowd. It’s nice, with average sillage, and longevity, again nothing to make me want to reach for it more than the others.Safe,non-offensive,appropriate for anyone looking for a sweet, fruity scent, that isn’t too harsh and cloying, but still detectable. It’s just a bit too meh for me.Will finish up the bottle,as it was a gift.

Love, love, love! It has similarities to Sentiment by Escada except that it lacks the powdery notes that makes Sentiment what it is. The dry down is darn near identical to Sexy Graffiti by Escada. The blackberry is prominent and the musk provides balance to keep this smelling expensive and not like a candy sweet child’s fragrance.

  36. :

Ed Hardy born wild smells much better than the other ed hardy perfumes. I can smell a lot of peach blossoms then magnolia and lily of valley! If you want to smell like you have been kissed by tropical fruits then grab this perfume.

  37. :

    4 out of 5

This perfume is so sweet and fruity without smelling like straight candy or smelling cheap. Defiantly one of my faves!

  38. :

    4 out of 5

This scent is so fruity & light, with a slight tropical vibe. I feel that this scent is perfect for Spring & Summer. It has only a tiny bit of sweetness, but is more of a fruity cocktail tamed down with light, airy flowers & light musk. I think this would be a great scent for a teen that is transitioning from body sprays to perfumes, or a woman who wants a break from strong scents. 🙂

I HAD A SMALL SAMPLE OF THIS. I’M WEARING IT TODAY AND MY OPINION ON IT IS THAT’S IT’S JUST OKAY. IT’S A NICE EVERYDAY SCENT. BUT NOTHING SPECIAL. SWEET AND SMELLS LIKE EVERY OTHER CELEB/FRUITY FRAGRANCE.

I got a sample of this at Belk dept. store one day. i had never even heard of Ed Hardy. I tried the sample and LOVED it!!! A few months later I bought a bottle. I wore this every day in the spring and summer… Perfect summer fragrance!

I tried so hard not to like it telling myself that the bottle is too childish, but I couldn’t resist.after smelling a bunch of perfumes in the shop,I realized this one was the best one I smelt.
actually judging by the bottle,I thought it would be a good gift for my 10 year old niece, but after trying it,I realizes it’s a good perfume for me too!
I think I smell pure strawberry,(ok,let’s say blackberry).it’s very fruity and mouthwatering with delicate flowers at the heart.I like the idea of pirate girl in description of the perfume and of course I like the nose behind it.
for it’s price,it’s a very good perfume that no body would regret buying it.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

A co-worker gave me a mini bottle of this because she said it was too sweet for her. I don’t get candy-sweet from this, definitely floral-sweet though. Soft, powdery almost. When I first sprayed it, I couldn’t put my finger on where I’ve smelled it…
Then it hit me– It smells like my flower-y dryer sheets! LOL! But I can from time to time catch the fruity scent in it, I would’ve never guessed blackberry though. Definitely didn’t get the unlisted watermelon, unlike other reviewers. And I REALLY don’t get tropical island or warm sunset. (This is where you don’t have to agree with me, but it totally reminds Ralph by Ralph Lauren somehow, minus 1 note I can’t put my finger on… I’m alternating sniffs from one wrist to the other and it’s pretty similar to me.)
Nonetheless, it does smell very nice. I was really excited to try it so I sprayed barely one spritz on the outside of my sleeve (opposite where I sprayed my perfume for the day on my skin– DKNY Be Delicious to be specific) and Born Wild was all could smell for at least an hour. Imagine normally spraying it!
Summary: Soft floral, like an early spring morning while it’s still a little chilly. A safe scent, nothing too special. NOT wild. A solid 5/10.

  45. :

I literally have men stop me and ask about my scent. They love it! Women ask me as well and I have stopped carrying it with me as they “borrow” it too much. Lightly sweet for grown ups.

  46. :

This is my least favorite ed hardy fragrance so far! It just smells so generic. And this actually does smell like the tattooed by inky perfume dupe.
I’m not impressed with this at all.
EDIT 9/3/2012: I think I’m allegric to this scent. When I put this on the last time (when I did the previous review), my throat started aching like I was having a cold or something. And it only happens when I wear this scent and the tattoo by inky perfume dupe. Hmm weird…
Obviously I will not purchase this at all and I think I might even throw away my sample.

  47. :

Ed Hardy born wild is one of my favorites next to villian and hearts and daggers. I love the sweet notes in this one. The bottle is awesome as well.

  48. :

    5 out of 5

Ed Hardy Born Wild makes me think of fruity cocktails in the Bahamas! Sweet peach blossom and sugary blackberries with fresh green cassia leaves and a hit of lily of the valley and magnolia to a dry down of light sandalwood. Born Wild smells exactly like Vicky Tiel’s Tickled Pink. They are both wonderful fragrances, love ‘em!

  49. :

    3 out of 5

Nothing “wild” about this fragrance. It’s nice and sweet, fresh smelling for hot weather. On me it was nice at the beginning then turned to a soapy bitter mess an hour later, which is quite common for me with most florals, so don’t let this discourage you from trying if you are looking for something sweet and fresh. If you are going for a unique and edgy fragrance, however, this is not it.

  50. :

I just bought this yesterday. I don’t smell the blackberry at all, but very nice refreshing pretty smell. It is sweet, but also has a nice citrusy smell behind. I was at work, kept looking around for who has that great smell on….it was me!Usually smells don’t last on me, or linger the way this one does. Love it! May be my new signature scent. At the end of my 8 hr shift, i could still smell this lightly on me, esp on the clothes. Very happy with this.

  51. :

Not every perfume is going to smell amazing on every person. This perfume, however, smells dynamite on me!! When I put it on, I don’t get the blackberry top notes, I go straight to the peaches & magnolia, and end with this sexy, warm, combination that makes me think of being outside on a steamy southern night.

  52. :

    4 out of 5

reminds me of watermelon candy, very sweet and fruity like a watermelon flavored Jolly Rancher! perfect for the spring and summer and the lasting power is ok, about 4 hours which is good since I have no problem switching scents through the day, so many fragrances, so little time. if your up for smelling sweet and casual, I’d get this, it would look cool on anyone’s vanity dresser

  53. :

    3 out of 5

This perfume is so good and fruity that it almost smells edible! According to the notes it is blackberries that are that yummy top note, but to me it smells like candied cranberries, but either way it smells delightful. The berry scent remains throughout as you start to pick up on the magnolia, peach blossom, and lily of the valley, and then the drydown consists of predominately sandlewood with just a hint of musk. This is a rich fruity floral scent with slight woody undertones. Usually fruity florals are best in spring and summer, but I think this is an exception to the rule, as the candied cranberry scent puts me in mind of the fall/winter/holiday spicy sweet aromas.

  54. :

I have this perfume and I love it. In the beginning it smells like fruits. Then at the end it smells like soap, a good kind of soap. But that’s probably just because of the fruits mixing in. But other than that it smells pretty good.

I found this perfume at the Bay and simply adore the scents of edible dewberry and cassis buds blend with magnolia and peach blossems ending with musk/sandelwood base. Its really yummy smelling and I wear it casually during the day when im at school!

  56. :

I find it to smell like a headier and more rasperry-ladden fruit-pie-like Heiress… Reminds me of fieldberry jam , grape bubble-gum and purple vinyl. Go figure but I do love it! I wear it when feeling playful in summer (nice that it is uber fruity yet not overly sweet in a cloying way). Also nice as a nite scent (fruit do calm me!) . It might not have the longest staying power on me but it delights my senses enuf to enjoy it as the sweet gift it was! xxxx

Ita too sickingly sweet for me. It was so bad that I had to get rid of it. I could never wear that on my skin, it would give me a sugar rush followed by a bad case of headache.

i tried this one today .i dislike it very much,i do not get ANY fruit at all!just an artificial citrus followed by a choking floral blend finishing in a cheap musk scent.i dislike very much and will never wear this again.

I am a 24 year old guy, and I was smelling women perfume for a gift. This was one of the top pick out of maybe 25 I smelled. I personally like citrus, sweet, floral type of scent. My 3 favorites were Ed Hardy – Born Wild, DKNY – Be Delicious, Juicy Couture – Viva La Juicy (not in order).

Wouldn’t say I’ll wear this to go out to a Very special Occasion… maybe to wear if I’m going by a friends house? I loved it at first but then it’s like an okay perfume now.

My husband really likes this so I tried it. It’s nice, sweet and fruity but not overwhelming. It’s a nice frangrance, but it doesn’t last that long on me so I have to give it an extra spray. It won’t be my signature fragrance as it smells pretty common to me, but I’ll get some use out of it. It will be good to wear to work as it is light and fresh.

I tried this in a shop the other day along with Hearts & Daggers. I can’t remember which was which but one smelled like bubble gum and the other was sickly sweet like dewberry. Neither for me.
I love the tattoo design style of Ed Hardy stuff and for some reason thought that the scents would be more exciting.

Sexy, tart and sweet, like a drunk raspberry.

Very tropical fruity …. a nice summer fragrance! The lightest of the ed hardy fragrances in my opinion.

Okay, I really do not understand why this perfume is called BORN WILD?? From the image of Ed Hardy AND the name of the perfume–born wild..i expected something a bit edgier…a scent that a rocker chick would wear. BUT this scent is more like bubble-gum barbie type of girl. Its very fruity and sweet…and not surprisingly–its very generic. I’m not saying that it smells bad, its quite pleasant actually, its the type of scent that many people would find un-offensive and its likable (again its very generic). So yeah, I have more of a problem with the misnomer more than the “just-another-fruity-sweet” scent of this perfume. I mean if Ed Hardy was intending to create a fruity-tropical scent..why not just simply name it Tropical Paradise or something like that. The motto of this perfume is “Let this daring fragrance take you on an adventure as impossible to resist as the woman wearing it.”—There’s absolutely nothing daring about this fragrance!

For me this is a rather boring and very drugstorelike scent. Fresh floral like so many others.

Strong and sweet berries fruity scent; very fruity and a little floral and very one dimensional. It smells like a raspberry scented room freshener actually. It’s not terrible, but it’s not something I’d wanna smell on a person. I’d better off with something from Bath & Body Works.

LOVE BORN WILD….thanks EH……my first love, and still in love, Love&Luck. Now, my second love, Born Wild. My chemistry works wonders with these two perfumes, and they last for hours on me!! Will always keep these two around:)

As I was walking out of Carson Pirie Scott yesterday I couldn’t resist the scent of the new Ed Hardy Born Wild. I just had to have it! I turned and looked at my hubby, he handed me his American Express credit card 🙂 Gotta love him!

I like this a lot but it reminds me a lot of the original Ed Hardy for Women. I just smell a little bit more strawberry in it.
Infact just sprayed Born Wild on my left wrist and original Ed Hardy on my right. Born Wild is just straight sweet with strawberries. Ed Hardy smells more tropical and is not just one dimensional. I think I still like the original Ed Hardy better after all. But don’t get me wrong, Born Wild is good, its just uncomplicated and straight sweet
I have to add on this one, the lasting power is not good. I had to spray it on several times yesterday to keep smelling it. It’s unfortunate because I really enjoy the scent

Just as Gypsy Parfumista had said, this smells like bubblegum… it really does! And it also reminds me of beaches and tropical, fruit drinks(as Calice Becker wanted to depict). I basically smell blackberries, peach blossom, some flowers, a bit of sandalwood, and some musk(though I also understand the watermelon connection that C3C gets). It’s quite a light scent, but a very nice one at that. And come to think of it, it reminds me of ‘Paris Hilton Heiress’… They both share the same ‘bubblegum’ smell.
As for the bottle, I don’t like it. But I like it more than ‘Hearts & Daggers’ and ‘Ed Hardy edt’. Call me crazy, but I can’t stand skeleton bones on the bottles of my perfume. So the pirate girl on Born Wild’s bottle isn’t *too* bad, I guess. Still, too ‘harley davidson’ for my taste, but such is life. Overall, I rate it a 6.5/10

SA threw a sample of this into my bag the other day, so I sprayed a bit on today just out of curiosity. First of all, I don’t get the whole Ed Hardy thing, and I completely associate this brand with John Gosselin and the Rock of Love Girls.(needless to say, not my role models). This perfume smelled good, but is very unoriginal and has a little shampooish odor to it. It smells like Paris Hilton with a bit of strawberry. I won’t be buying it and I’ll be giving the remainder of the sample to my little sis.

Well I get fruity, no blackberry, and there’s a vibe to it that makes me think watermelon. I don’t get tropical island.
It is a very typical fruity floral no doubt about it. The moment I sprayed it on I thought of two other perfumes I own that smelled almost identical. That said it still has it’s own twist.
It’s so light I quickly forgot I was wearing it. One of those you catch on a whiff here and there to remind you you did put something on. That is a change from the overpowering sta
