Description

Eclat Weekend is inspired by a weekend spent at the French Riviera, its picturesque coast and relaxing atmosphere.

“The sense of freedom … the wind in your hair, the sun’s rays on your skin … Experience the feeling of freedom with Eclat Weekend Eau de Toilette.”

The perfumer behind this creation, Nathalie Lorson, wanted to evoke a perfect holiday with a fragrance that is spontaneous and natural, elegant and delicate. The composition opens with notes of juicy pear, red currant and bergamot, which overflow into a refined bouquet of frangipani, lotus, bush rose and bamboo leaf. Velvety white peach, cedar and musk notes are in the finish trail.

The distinctive design of Eclat bottle is updated with gentle pastel shades, “feminine, fresh and modern. ” Oriflame Eclat Weekend is available as 50 ml Eau de Toilette, limited edition.
Eclat Weekend was launched in 2011.

Oriflames BEST offer of parfumes and it gives you what it promisses by her ingredients. Floral but fresh and femine. For the price a good piece if you buy it by season speciall offer in a catalougue. It somehow reminds me on LAncome rumeur 2 rose.

Nothing overwhelming, a faint scent, subdued, simple, fresh and typical. Not sweet at all, but enough juicy. Slightly powdery in the drydown. Very versatile, although for a night out you might want to wear a glamorous scent. Nothing groundbreaking either.
Appropriate for all ages, even for teens, e.g your eleven year old daughter can successfully pull this off. Safe scent definitely.
Opens with bergamot and pear. I’m grateful that the bergamot isn’t sugary, because I hate sugary perfumes. Pear is a little chemical, and not a realistical one; which is easy to tell, really, go sniff some well done peary perfumes and you will understand right away. Florals here are so sour, another good thing. Musk is undetectable to my nose, and honestly they just needed a fixative, so the easy option is musk; and artificial woody notes, that don’t even help the perfume to smell woody. Something greenish, lot of peach.
The drydown is an aquatic-somehow-bitter (I guess it’s a weekend at the sea) peach and lotus. I like a bitter perfume, and so far I haven’t had problems with ozonics/aquatics, but this is so boring and generic that I don’t even bother correcting it by layering.
    Gives me headaches sometimes.
P.S.: I have both Burberry Weekend and Oriflame Eclat Weekend and to my nose, they are distant distant cousins. The Burberry version is worth the money.

If you love a simple ,fresh, feminine and fruity scent you will love this one. It’s very light, fresh and delicate. You can smell lotus, pear, apple wild rose and bergamot. Suitable for summer day and the lasting power is good. The bottle is classic and nice. 8/10 for this one

Once you sniff it, you want it bad.I dont know if i have messed up nose, but month after i bought it and used it, it started changing in a negative way for me…there were times i couldn’t even stand it.Not sure if it was because i got used to the smell already, or because of season changing. This is an EDT you starve to have, but later you feel like ”why’s that..” or at least that’s me.

I’m getting married next week 🙂 This is what I’m gonna wear, since it’s fresh, summery and floral. It’s perfect for hot summer days, when you need something lively, like a spring of cool water 🙂

Among all the perfumes of famous brands, I always get compliments for some less familiar and cheaper fragrances, such as this one. Fresh but sweet and very feminine. Although when I wear it i don’t smell anything, but people around me (men and women) are enchanted (:

It’s a nice light-fresh-floral-fruity perfume! It’s perfect for summer and every day use.At first ,it is sour fruity – you notice the wonderful pear note easily ,then with the time it becomes little more musky and gentle floral .Feminine, fresh, chic,at good price but it’s not long lasting.

On my skin it has crazy long lasting power, more then 12 hours! First this perfume is sour and sharp, after 1-2 hours it sounds sweeter, like a sugary lemon, and after 3-4 hours it’s a very interesting intensive sour-sweet blend, but not so sharp any more. I am not really in love with it, but I like this perfume for great lasting power! I could feel it on my skin all day long.

Eclat Weekend became one of my favourites of all Oriflame perfumes, as well as Love Potion, Urban Lovers for her and Miss o Fashion princess.
This is probably the freshest perfume I have ever smelled. It´s very watery because of that lotus note and I can definitely smell pear note too. Also kinda reminds me of Love of pink by Lacoste, has the same kind of freshness…AMAZING FOR SUMMER!
AND the lasting power is great!!!! Really..up to 6 hours, which is VERY GOOD for Oriflame perfume!

I am surprised that Oriflame is long lasting, eau De Toilette. It stays longer on my skin or cloths than any other popular brand perfumes. If you like fruity and fresh perfums that perfume is designed for you.

fresh and citrusy with a little bit of lotus flower.it’s very light, perfect for summer. But over all the fragrance is not that good as the packaging.
After a while i remembered which perfume it reminded me of – Northern Lights another one from the same house 😀
Why? All in all i won’t be buying it anymore.I think there are better summer fragrances for my taste

I can smell very intensive lotus flower, pear and peach. Nice and summery fragrance. And god price. I would recommend it for summer days 🙂

I want to get this, mainly for the bottle. As for the smell, I would say a generic fruity-floral for the summer.

  28. :

    4 out of 5

Though notes sound very nice, Eclat Weekend is a simple generic fruity floral.
Slightly tart, slightly citrusy, with a hint of transaprent lotus.
Discreet, non-offensive, office kind of scent.
Decent sillage and staying power as for Oriflame.

I just received this one yesterday but have only tested it out this morning.Elact Wknd smelt so promising on paper and yet so completly harsh ,very sharp and unbalanced on my skin.I’ve come to the conclusion that it must be the white peach which is reacting really badly with my body chem as all i can smell on me is completly white peach dominating and sadly none of the other notes to subdue it!. lasting power seems very good. This one is definatly not for me. Ill pass it on to my sister or mother as we all hav different blood types and suit completly different perfumes from one and other.Am gone to have to scrub off this perfume now that i cant bare smelling myself in and switch to wearing ck beauty for the day.

i wrote my review elsewhere, so here it is again if it helps anybody 🙂 i got it today and lost it today too 😀 so i’ll just click “i had it” button for the heck of it even though today is its first release
without further ado, here we go…
    let’s compare and contrast:
top notes: the original has some apricots (not written in the notes but their scent is definitely there on my skin), they’re replaced with pear
middle notes: E has violets mostly and this one has wild roses (i don’t get the lotus note)
finally, E has a stronger dry-down which is musky in both fumes but definitely lighter in EW
to sum up: just like what i expected, it’s so light but yet a nice floral peach-kissed scent, i like a little bit of peach in a scent, it’s detectable to my nose in the beginning of the dry-down, it’s soft and feminine in a way
here’s the catch, since the original is already floral, with a musky dry-down, kissed with a certain fruit, lasts for a couple of hours and very light; then why make another edition which is basically the same but lighter?? it’s really nice but why, i’m bewildered… i have lots of floral frags and much better ones containing peach notes.
bottle already snatched by cousin 😀 it’s too light and she just had a baby so it’s perfect for her; as for me, if it’s not discontinued, i’ll include it in my EDT collection to tease myself basically :p
