The thing with cheaper fragrances is that often the notes are all mixed together in one big mess. This is the case, although Eclat is quite nice fragrant mess.
The scent is very creamy, light, rather warm and radiant. It reminds me of old-school body creams with that cream scent which is even more creamy with warmth of ones body. I assume many would like it, but few would be there to wear it or lust for it.
The sillage is light, but more of it would seem rather pungent. Staying power is good six hours. The scent does not open much. Somewhat detectable throughout the wear are only apricot and slightly tart lily, but all wrapped in slightly sweet creaminess and softness. Scent with no edge to it.

I had it when I was too young to appreciate it. I lacked the confidence at the time to pull it off. I’m not sure it was this version I had. A little dab on a finger, on either pulse on my neck, was more than enough. Strong silage and projection on me. I would probably like it now – going on 39 before the end of 2015. There’s something oriental about it when it’s sat for a while on my skin, which I like.
sanevski – :
The least expressive perfume I’ve ever had – just bought it as said version is discontinued and replaced by sth new. It is floral, delicate and totally inoffensive, unless you don’t like white flowers – then you might find it a bit irritating in the drydown. If one day I wake up and have no idea what to wear, I’ll use this one and I’m sure it will be ok.

I used to frequently buy from Oriflame but I haven’t since 2008 and it must’ve been around that time (early 30s) that I had this fragrance. It’s initially very strong on me but in a good way. It had some resemblance to Dior Dolce Vita, which is one of my favorites, on my skin. I’m not skilled enough to comment on individual notes but it has a strong, sweet citrusy note on me but not in a cheap way. Hard to describe. It must be that raspberry others have mentioned. I should look for other fragrances with a raspberry note in.:-) Max. two spritzes on me, best on me in cooler weather and for evening wear on me. I agree that it’s claassy and elegant but that can be hard for some people to appreciate so I used to be careful about wearing this one if I was going to be out and about many people I don’t know.

Other people can smell it on me,something like those Molecules perfumes… I can detect it very little…

For me,somewhere between girly and womanly, not elegant but appealing and wearable. People say flowers are more dominant but i notice fruit quite a lot. Not impressed by longevity, either.

Musky floral scent, a bit sweet due the note of raspeberry. It is linear and short lasting on my skin.
romanguar – :
Nice perfume but I am dissapointed about lasting power.I wouldnt buy this again the smell quickly fades away

Yes, I think the word “elegant” can best characterize this perfume. I`m wearing it right now (in late autumn late evening) and it`s not really fitting well. However I imagine myself loving it on Monday morning heading to office with elegant cloths on.

I bought a purse spray, its cost was really small but at first I’d had a bottle of it and given it to my mom, as I preferred a bit different fragrances then. Nowadays I came back to Eclat and I like it.
It doesn’t smell cheap, but medium-shelf, elegant, mature and classy. It’s sweet and powdery (lily?), I can detect raspberry, violet and lily the most into ambery-musk base. There’s something like dark green leaves detectable too. Thick, classic fragrance with good sillage.
Reminds me a bit about Chopard, Infiniment, but it’s a bit warmer. It isn’t warm – lily gives it cold effect.
bobosers – :
Eclat is probably the best creamy sweet floral I have ever worn.
I agree that violet and raspberry are the most prominent notes, turning into violet leaf scent on a lovely musky base.
It is bright, fresh, crispy and perfect for the office, inoffensive, yet noticeable.
It lasts about 4-5 hours, not bad for an eau de toilette concentration.
It is a great choice for autumn and spring.
If creamy florals turn your nose on, you should consider adding it to your collection; the fragrance is still available in online shops.
The bottle is pretty; I love chunky glass designs. I only wish the cap was made of polished alloy but never mind, you can’t have it all at this silly price 🙂
Thumbs up!

It better for body cream than the real edt, perhaps it lack of lasting power. I bought it for my mother but she prefer Amber Elixir and Lancome miracle, so This turn back to my desk. It good for every day wear to me.

eclat weekend it’s perfect for summer, longlasting and really really nice smell. i need a bottle of that!
Mainnact – :
Eclat weekend isn’t light but very flowery and sunny 🙂
I would call it a summer edition ;not same as the original!
This Eclat shown in directoeory is the freformulation of the original which was launched a decade ago with a different bottle and different notes(it was heavier -woody floral)!
Astratlt – :
another edition came out which is Eclat Weekend; from the name, i’m guessing it’s even lighter than the original Eclat and if that’s not enough the notes are flowers and white peach!! and that’s pretty much it, i’d buy it if i’m out of fresh & light EDT for home use, i always need some bottles of refreshing EDT just in case. having said that, nothing’s wrong with a flowery and white peach scent, it’s quite beautiful, that’s why i’m considering it to the light EDT collection of mine, can’t wait to test it though to find out whether i’m right or not… we’ll see

Eclat is a beautiful and elegant floral. I will categorise it as a skin scent, having said that, it’s obvious to say that the sillage is fair one has to get close to you to catch a whiff.
It starts floral with a hint of tangy fruit and it’s the raspberry note that’s playing the part. I like this blend of floral mixed with fruit actually, ’cause it helps to develop a floral fragrance like true florals. Here rose has been added with a delicate hand as I don’t get only rose, instead I get a nicely blended accord of lily and rose. It doesn’t change much throughout the start. I am impressed with its longevity as I can smell it even after 5-6 hours and that being a skin scent is just perfect.
On the whole Eclat is a nice smelling and very pleasant scent. Worth having it. It’s not, loud, brash and just perfect.

Despite all the positive reviews below, I felt uncomfortable with this perfume at first sniff. I could smell a sour and a little bit metallic scent in it. So I gave it up to my sister.

This very light scent reminds me of crystals. it’s a very beautiful scent

Elegant and sophisticated. Reminds me of Covet-SJP, but it’s softer and classier.
leovlain – :
Classy and elegant! Not overwhelming, like the second skin on me! True elegance!
