Description
Eclat d`Arpege Perles is a new, limited edition presented by the house of Lanvin this year. The fragrance has been launched in spring 2011 as a fresh, floral fragrance softened with tea aromas. The new limited edition is embellished with white pearls and available in transparent outer package made of violet plastic, which accentuates and preserves the flacon in the same time.
Top notes of Lanvin Eclat d’Arpege Perles introduce fresh and luminous lemon notes combined with lilac. A heart provides a spring floral bouquet that contains floral notes of peony, peach blossom adding fruity nuances and aromatic green tea leaves. A base is sensual and composed of fine accords of white cedar from Lebanon, white musk and amber.
Available as 50ml EDP limited edition.

When I was too lonely and depressed I found this fragrance, full of lilac and full of perplexity ….
We had lost between something weird together but in the the deep of the darkness smelling Eclat pulled me out of sorrow….
It was bipolar and two sided….
Atlast it helped me to write my first book.
Actually you can smell this scent everywhere but I will love it forever…

Smells like Light Blue without being too aggressive, fresh but I feel some sweet creamy vibe. Good option instead of D&G if someone doesn’t like the masculine line in light blue

It is very similar to the original Eclat D’Arpege (which was one of very few perfumes I fully used up). It is fresh and pleasant, I usually get complements when I wear it.
It opens up with lot and lots of Lilac which reminds me of my childhood in Europe. The lilac is fresh and true, then it steps back to the barckground and lets other notes shine through.
I find Perles version is a little bit sweeter with less florals and more pronounced tea and lemon note compared to the original.
On me it lasts good 6-8 hours even during hot weather

I checked the reviews for the different Eclat d’Arpeges and though this would be something completely different from the other Eclat’d Arpege’s because of the much higher ratings. Actually, it’s quite like the Eclat d’Arpege from 2002, which I had but gave away to my mom. The reason was the strong syringa note. It’s hard to describe, but it left this icy after-smell which I didn’t quite like. It’s strange to say it: it basically smelt clean, but I didn’t like it.
The Perles version smells like a mix of Eclat d’Arpege from 2002 and Dolce Gabbana Light Blue, which I also had but gave away to my mom. I found it to have a too strong lemon note for my taste. Perles have softened both the syringa note and the lemon note, so it is a mix I actually can wear… but it’s still VERY much like the version from 2002.
Who would like this fragrance? Those who like: fresh, soft, not obviously flowery or fruity fragrances, who doesn’t want to smell woods and doesn’t like sweet perfumes. I also find this fragrance quite simple, so you have to be OK with that.
I just bought Jusus Del Pozo’s Halloween Sexy Kiss. If you can’t afford or can’t find Eclat d’Arpege, just buy Halloween Sexy Kiss. There is VERY, VERY little difference between them. The notes are totally different, but the perfumes smell almost perfectly identical. The only tiny differences are:
– Halloween Sexy Kiss smells a tiny bit more earthy in the beginning, but it is almost not noticeable
– it is far from as-lemon heavy, but that, actually, makes very little difference still

Lovely bottle, quite average fresh/floral fruity scent. I’ll have to test it again some other day, when I don’t have the cold (can’t smell much right now)! 🙂 Maybe then I can get more nuances out of it.
