I know quite a few people seem to have a strong opinion that this fragrance is for those under 20 years but personally I don’t foresee this fragrance having such a specific age group. The reason being is because it’s just a yummy minimal easy going fragrance that even though it has a youthful happy spirit.. it can be worn by all ages in my opinion. My sister was actually the one who got my interest w/ this fragrance and she’s 12 years older than me. Imagine having a bowl of apples and whipped cream w/ a little of bergamont squeezed on top.. that’s this fragrance (actually that sounds like a really good snack haha). One of my favorite fall fragrances because of the dominant apple aspect but it’s such an easy going fragrance that you can really where it whatever time of the year. Well balanced yet simple. Sexy though? No. The name is a bit deceiving.

I think it’s a very pretty sweet scent that makes me feel happy .

My niece have it. Too girly thing for a perfume ıf youre under 22 you may like. I think it smells high school girls perfume but still better than ck one shock(yuk vanilla and berry stupidty) or giorgio armani si edp(tooo heavy, 40+ mid age crisis or bossy granny).

This will always remind me of the best vacation I have ever had in Disney World – 2014. I know, crazy… but it was the perfume I took on the trip — wore it everyday and now that’s the memory. Absolutely perfect!
I really like to take one perfume on vacation so I can create and relate to a memory via fragrance.
This is Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Eau So Sexy! (Why does that all not seem to go together??!) lol 🙂

I doused myself in a sample of this since Victoria secret frags are generally safe albeit poorly lasting. Instant regret. The apple is so artifical and cloying.. This is coming from someone who normally loves sweet gourmands. I need a shower!

I can smell all three main notes in this one. Fresh and tart green apple combined with light whipped cream. Sounds great for an edible dessert already 🙂 Yum.

I only have the body mist but OMG I’m obsessed! I will be purchasing the perfume. This scent is so sweet pretty and girly. Sprayed this on before me and my fiance went for a walk on some trails through the woods and every time the wind blew I could smell it. Really made our walk romantic .. love it!!

I like this one in cold weather, though it’s not the truest apple scent for fall. Maybe that’s because the whipped cream dominates the first hour. The bergamot drydown is delicious, though, and on me it goes on for hours.

2 minutes after this is sprayed on its gone. It doesnt really matter what the notes are or how it smells since its such a terribly made perfume. Just a shame & a waste of money.

This to my nose is identical to Apple Bottoms by Nelly(the original),both contain the green apple note, only VS’s is less sharp, not sickly sweet and doesnt make me dizzy. As time passes it doesnt go bad unlike the Apple Bottoms which I had to throw away. That being said I totally love it. It’s great for daytime. if you like fresh green apple balanced with a sweet note, go for it 😀

Eau so fresh gourmand, that is what this VS scent is!
I was once looking for some whipped cream scents and another member suggested this. Today I finally tried it, and loved it.
Finally a dominant green apple note that doesn’t change into plastic, but mixes well with whipped cream creating a very fresh gourmand.
This is a wonderful combination of notes that I love, the name and the bottle don’t really match with the scent’s nature but.. I ignore that and add this in my want list.

All I can smell is Apple juice… It does remind me of Jessica Simpson Fancy, but not as sickening. and tghis comes from a girl that LOVES sweet scents. it is very generic, I rather buy a DKNY Apple scent….

I would personally rate this fragrance a 5.5/10. I don’t hate it, but I would not purchase it again. I have had it for over a year now and wear it on rare occasions, I guess just to “give it another chance” once in a while. Victoria’s Secret is obviously extremely popular, so basically everything they release is praised and loved by most; even when something they release isn’t necessarily great. Definitely not worth the price I paid, which was a little over $50. I feel like it is not horrible, but definitely nothing special. It smells like it should be something sold at Walmart for cheap (maybe $20 to $30 max) rather than overpriced and sold by VS.

Victoria Secret’s Eau So Sexy is a plain jane, apple pie a la mode scent.
Very simple tart green apple mixed with a creamy merengue finish. I feel like there’s not much to say, except that I can’t really find the bergamot…it kind of gets lost in the middle between the two main dominating notes.
Less fruity than DKNY’s Be Delicious (green bottle) scent, and more gourmand.
Nothing special, but it’s nice for everyday wear. Unfortunately, the longevity is sub-par and therefore would not purchase again. I’m kind of kicking myself in the nuts that I paid full-price for this *lol*

I tried this at the VS store and at first, I didn’t think much of it, but later I realized it was a pretty nice scent and I ordered it online. You won’t find this perfume very exciting, complex, or unique, and for the most part, it is a cute and somewhat generic fruity floral. However, there is something I find intriguing and pleasant about it. The first spray is all alcohol, but afterwards, it becomes fresh, juicy, and creamy. It’s only slightly sweet, and I find it rather light and airy. The combination of the apple and cream reminds me of these Japanese candies (that kinda resemble Starbursts), soft and milky. I have to say the dry down kind of reminds me of 5th Avenue Style and a bit of Fancy Love. And actually, I just looked at both of those perfumes on this site and apparently some people agree with me as both perfumes are listed as smelling similar to Burberry Woman, so there must be some similarity between those. Either way, this is a fresh gourmand that I personally enjoy.

I cannot believe I found a VS that lasts on me all day! It is very faint, but I smell it all day long. I spray it on after I get out of the shower, like a body spray, get dressed, & enjoy whiffs of sweet gourmand sexiness all day. I am sure if I can smell it, others can. LOVE!!! TY *VS*!!!

A cute, fun fragrance for spring and summer. Not what I would call sexy though. Lasting power is not good, 2-3 hours on me, tops.

  21. :

    4 out of 5

Sweet apple candy type of scent, sugary with the smell of a perfumed version of whipped cream or whipped topping. It has apple and a touch of citrus, very fruity, and delicious. It’s more flirty than sexy. Easy to wear as a day to day scent but catering to girls in junior high or high school who haven’t really discovered more grown up perfumes. I still love to wear this though especially in the summer when fruit based perfumes are everywhere.

First bought this in Vegas in 2014, I love it so much that I just had to get another bottle when I went back out to Vegas in July this year, this is one of those fragrance that I will love forever.

This is probably my favorite fragrance from Victoria’s Secret. I love sweet scents, it smells like juicy apples and sweet vanilla! I’m surprised that berries aren’t listed as one of the notes because I can definitely smell some strawberries and raspberries in there. I personally don’t smell any citrus other than the apple, but that’s fine with me as I really don’t care for citrusy scents. I find that this fragrance has great lasting power, but I like to layer the lotion, mist and perfume. I hope Victoria’s Secret never discontinues this one!

This isn’t a bad fragrance by any means but it’s just too sweet for me!! It’s a creamy candy scent.

OMG…i LOVE this…i dont care if it smells young or juvenile. Men love SWEET scents just like this. I smell the apple but its not the same kind of apple in “Beautiful Day”. its like the kind of Apple that is in apple pie! its SEXY cause it smells edible and gives the impression of baked goods.

My sister 34 year old sister walked into the room with this on earlier and it made me cringe. As more of a gourmand chypre fan this one just fell short of having any complexity whatsoever. It smells like someone sprayed apple jolly ranchers with musk and called it “sexy”. Rather than sexy I find it juvenile. I really can’t see a man being attracted to this unless they’re into jailbait. On a positive note at least its more tolerable than her old go to, “Pink Sugar”.

When I smelled it in the store it smelled really nice !! But once I bought it and tried it on the smell was really bad to me it makes me feel nauseous the citrus smell is so overpowering to me

The scent is so sweet! It instantly reminds me of Chloe Roses De Chloe. I usually dislike sweet smelling perfume, I’m more of a floral scent lover, but somehow I find this lovely! Loved it !

  29. :

It’s not my type of a fragrance by no means, but Eau So Sexy reminds me of warm and sunny, sandy summer days, which is not bad at all. It’s my grocery shopping days fragrance.
I get tons of sweet cream and green synthetic apple, however somehow it still smells good, a nice girly gourmand smell. Projection is very linear. Longevity and sillage – strong and decent. I can detect a hint of cream/apple even after 8 hours, and usually I apply only couple of spritz.

Received Eau So Sexy in the mail and the sprayer leaks. Called Vic’s, they’re sending me a body mist – my perfume was $25 on sale so even swap. Didn’t want to chance another bum bottle. This fragrance is super light – fades away extremely fast! You can smell a light whipped cream fragrance as it dries down. As for apple and bergamot? A whisp of apple, don’t find bergamot at all. This scent reminds me of LOVE PINK or PINK Fresh and Clean mist. It’s a shame people will invest $52 for a perfume that fades faster than a body mist. I can see why guys might like it, as it’s a soft fragrance – that is if you can spray enough on you. My body lotion/mist are being shipped; hopefully layering will help scent last. Disappointed – not what I hoped for, won’t purchase again.

  31. :

A nice bubbling scent, not complicated but quite uplifting, at least until it fades to nothing even on fabrics. I don’t smell anything exactly “whipped cream”. I guess it’s the usual fantasy term for some chemical. I mostly smell green apple and a woody tone that smells like any wood. I think it’s a positive girlish scent for casual wear and when you want to cheer up your mood. The best feature here is that it reminds of old beautiful Joop! All about Eve! Not as sophisticated and longlasting but similar.

  32. :

I bought this but I am not finding myself drawn to wearing it. The dry down is strange, kind of smells of berries to me though this is not a listed note. So while I like the initial blast the dry down isn’t my favorite.

  33. :

    3 out of 5

Nice apple & cream scent, but with very soft stillage and also after an hour I could barely smell it, even if I tested it in summer. I think it is rather very safe fragrance than very sexy.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

I LOVE this so much! To me, it’s absolutely intoxicating and one of my favorite perfumes by far! It smells a lot like berries and is very youthful and feminine.

  35. :

    4 out of 5

I don’t understand how this is supposed to be the sexy. I smelled it and it smells like my 6 year old’s tangle free shampoo. At least BBW doesn’t call their generic fruit vanillas sexy and really, it’s OK to name a lotion after the fruits that are in its composition.. A lot of people won’t buy it simply because of the stupid name for apple cream (me included). If I’m going to buy Eau so Sexy then it needs to actually BE sexy
VS SERIOUSLY needs to rethink their marketing because they seem to think that every single fragrance they put out nowadays is instantly sexy just because they say it is. It’s kind of disturbing considering the age group they target for some of these fragrances.

I am using the rollerball version, there aren’t any top, middle or base notes for this, i just smell the same apples and whipped cream the whole time. My neck and arms are the apples, my wrists are the whipped cream. I think the bottle version would fare better in the spread of the notes.

  37. :

This was an instant love for me. I test it at the store and I knew I have to get it. . I can definetly smells the sweet apple on first spray, then comes the whip cream, and since im a huge fan of apple scents so there you go. It didnt last very long tough. Perhaps 2-3 hours, then I have to re-spray..

  38. :

    4 out of 5

This perfume smells so good, it’s definitely a gourmand scent! The whipped cream, gives it a creamy sort of smell. Not sure, how to describe the whipped cream note, other then it literally smells like whipped cream. When it dries down and the notes blend together it kind of smells, like bubblegum. This was a blind buy, solely based on it being a gourmand and the notes. Love it!

  39. :

If you are looking for a sweet scent then this is for you! I like this scent and I own a rollerball of it but I don’t think that I would repurchase this in the bigger size because I typically like my perfumes to be a little less sweet. But this scent isn’t bad at all, just not my type.
I feel like this scent would be a hit with the guys for some reason. I will wear this on a date (whenever that happens LOL) and see if I can get a reaction.

Sweetness. My friend gave me a whole set of this, complete with the bag. How so sweet of her.
When I first tried it, I didn’t know the notes but I think the fragrance smelled like sweet cream..how surprised I was when I opened this page and turn out, they really have it in the notes lol..to me it’s a creamy cream smell – like vanilla soft ice except more cream than vanilla – that last all day long (over 8 hours on me).

I Just Sniffed This at century city Victoria’s secret. The Eau So Sexy Is Eau So Fresh smells like simple well balanced cool bergamots and apple. I still Do like The Bombshell the best because of its alluring unique Pineapple and Passion Fruit notes.

  43. :

    3 out of 5

I hate every single VS fragrance and I know them all because the women at work are sadly huge fans. This is no exception, more artificial, Frankenstein-lab-style cloying sweetness I have wouldn’t even worn as a teenager. It also seems to me like fragrances who need to proclaim that they are sexy are very often worn by women who strike me as a bit too much, to say it politely.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

I wanted to not like this as I’m not sure I can bring myself to own and display a perfume with such a ridiculous name. However it is sweet and girly and you definitely get an apple pie with vanilla ice cream feel. I hate sweet smelling perfumes, but I can’t get this one out my head!

  45. :

    5 out of 5

At first I was not even going to try this perfume because of the stupid name and tacky bottle. I passed it in the Victoria’s Secret store multiple times before finally picking it up to try.
So glad I finally did! On me this smells like a sweet juicy red apple with a light vanilla cream. This actually reminds me of Annick Goutal’s Petite Cherie, but with a much better drydown and a sweet gourmand edge. So far, considering its a VS frag, I am pretty pleased with the lasting power – a good 3 or 4 hours, and I don’t even have to hose myself down with half the bottle to get longevity and sillage!
From the other reviews here it seems I have the less popular opinion, but I feel this is different than VS’s usual releases, and one of the best they have put out in a long time. This is another one I predict they will discontinue and I’ll have to stock up at the semi annual sale 🙁
Side note – the bottle is TERRIBLE. It is clunky to hold and you can’t move the bow, so it is super hard to spray. I almost dropped my bottle yesterday in my bathroom after showering, my hands were wet and when I went to spray it started sliding out of my hand uncontrollably. If I could change one thing the bow would be removable.
If you love gourmands you should definitely try!

  46. :

    3 out of 5

As overdone as the whipped cream gourmand is, I just can’t hate on it. Eau So Sexy falls somewhere on the softer side of the gourmand scale: from Pink Sugar to Fancy Love to Pink Chiffon, it’s closer to Pink Chiffon. Without the buttery notes. Like/love.

  47. :

    3 out of 5

On my skin this fragrance is very similar to Fancy Love by Jessica Simpson. Like the sweet, fruity opening of fancy love without the musk driven dry down. I don’t get any Chantilly cream from this, and it doesn’t really smell too much of apple or bergamot, more peachy in my opinion. Maybe not quite as heavy as FL, this definitely has a cleaner, fresher vibe to it. FL feels much more gourmand than this, this just smells more on the fruity side than anything. I do like it and might even consider buying a full bottle when they have a sale.
EDIT: I finally got the chance to do a side by side of the two and while they are familiar they are not the same. FL is definitely more on the floral side and the boozy note makes it much deeper and classier smelling. ESS is brighter and fruitier and much more laid back while FL is much more made up and warmer.

Victoria Secret’s Eau So Sexy was a bit of a surprise for me because I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do! I must have sprayed on eight different fragrances while shopping Victoria’s Secret one day and after leaving the store, the one I could still smell was the Eau So Sexy. This fragrance was different because it’s not the typical candy galore or an alcoholic fruity-floral mess we all have come to expect from Victoria Secret. Eau So Sexy stays fresh with its top note of bergamot, crisp apple, and subtly sweet Chantilly cream. I have had good luck with the longevity of this fragrance. I think it was well done and the notes blend together perfectly. Victoria Secret turns out an excessive amount of fragrances every year and most of them are fleeting in popularity, but I think they might have a keeper with Eau So Sexy!

  49. :

    3 out of 5

On my skin this is a fresh combination of zesty citrus and smooth whipped cream–lovely, fleeting and perfect for me because I don’t like fragrance that loudly announce themselves. It isn’t actually what I would call sexy, more of a fun, flirty fragrance–perhaps it would be better labeled as Eau So Flirty?

  50. :

    3 out of 5

I think when they have their big clearance sale, I’ll go for a bottle of this. It smells fantastic. It is extremely light, hence why I would not buy it full price – but ME WANT!

  51. :

    5 out of 5

My review was removed, but my opinion still stands that this is a feminine form of YSL’s L’Homme and what Victoria should have been. It’s not a sandalwood scent (their biggest seller in notes), and it’s not a straight floral like Bombshells in Bloom. I don’t pick up the apple, rather the bergamot/chantilly cream hence the comparison to L’homme (aka basically Midnight for Men but in a feminine form).

  52. :

I’m REALLY burnt out on this “eau so sexy,” or “eau so sheer,” pun…like, this is probably the fifth fragrance this year that has used it in the name.
I’m always open minded when it comes to trying new VS fragrances, and I love many of them.. but this one is most certainly another PASS from me. Sweet green apple, and that’s about it.
I’m not so sure what’s so sexy and alluring about smelling like jolly ranchers, but if that’s your thing then by all means, go right ahead.

  53. :

    5 out of 5

Eau so Sexy is kind of a fun, youthful fragrance. Lots of whipped cream, an airy feel, and extremely fleeting. There’s no lasting power AT ALL. I personally don’t find this fragrance sexy in the slightest, but it is reasonably enjoyable. I wouldn’t pay full price for it, but I bought a roller ball for $10 and that should be more than enough for me!

  54. :

    4 out of 5

I tried this the other day (EDP) because I was excited to hear of a perfume with 3 of my favorite notes: bergamot, apple, and cream.
Does it distinctly smell like any of them? No. It ends up overall being a light fruity-floral on the skin. None of the notes are particularly distinguishable, but I do have to say there is a layer of mellowed sugary vague vanilla undertone that must be the cream. So it actually does give off a creamy, mellow vibe, that is different from any other fruity-floral I have smelled before. I quite enjoy it. As I said above, the strength of this is light… if a “typical” VS body spray was a 1, and a “typical” VS perfume was a 5, this seems to fall at 2-3 for me.
Edit: I’ve bought a small bottle of it. I’m disappointed. After a few hours the dry down is pure generic musk. No sweetness, nothing. Just plain musk.

  55. :

I reviewed it negatively early on here, but I’m actually warming up to it quite a bit.
As an aside, isn’t this the place where we review, not continually post to argue with others who have a different opinion?

  56. :

    3 out of 5

I really love this scent, usually VS perfumes end up smelling the same to me, but this is sweet, creamy and subtle.. I will definitely be buying this!

  57. :

This smells just about identical to Vera wang’s lovestruck perfume…very much the same once on the skin…im mean identical!!..same soft fruit floral.

  58. :

    4 out of 5

Wow. I thought it was going to be just another generic frilly fragrances Vickie’s has been coming out with. But it actually was very different and original. Fabulous.

  59. :

    4 out of 5

bergamot, apple, chantilly cream? sounds so nice! in reality, it’s a kinda fruity-floral scent that’s somewhat familiar and maybe a little generic. at first. then it turns into hamster cage cedar shavings, and perfumed plastic bags (small “boudoir” trash bags that are fragranced – anybody else remember those?).
and at no point was it anywhere even remotely near something that might have at one time been thought of as sexy. eau or otherwise.
and the silly plastic bow on the bottle doesn’t come off, and makes it difficult to hold and spray.
verdict? eau-so-almost. if it was reformulated without the cedar, i’d probably like it. but it’s nowhere near as nice as Forbidden (also terribly named) or Rapture (which never gets any publicity).

eau so not sexy…eau so boring..eau so tired..eau so over…eau so done…V.S company eau STOP!! PLEASE have a seat.

I can do fruity floral. In fact, I really like a good fruity floral. But I would prefer one that had some modicum of character or distinction. VS has some that are very well done. This was apparently cranked out by computer-generated software.

  62. :

    3 out of 5

Just about every new Victoria’s Secret fragrance, that comes out is fruity floral.

  63. :

    4 out of 5

When I was in line a couple weeks ago at VS, there was a display of rollerballs for this perfume. The salesperson said that it was the new scent that was soon to arrive and that the rollerballs were on a previews sale for $10 (regular $18).
I thought, What the hell? I might as well throw it in my basket with my 3.4-ounce bottle of Seduction Dark Orchid that I picked up on sale for $17 as a back-up because I like it so much.
The Eau So Sexy? Not so much. It is boring, just as Emilym1992 predicts. It’s not horrible, but it’s not FB-worthy at all. I don’t really get the “gourmand” label on this one at all. It’s a fruity-floral, pure and simple, with a sweet touch. Nothing new here at all.

Normally I’m excited about Victoria’s Secrets new releases, but this one looks boring and the bottle is tacky :(. Sorry VS!
