Xeroxtldtz – :
I just got this today from Parfumaria. I can’t believe I’m writing the first review. It’s difficult for me to describe this. The cardamom bergamot and pink pepper combine to make a very unique opening. The opening is really strong. And it’s unlike any other fragrance. The opening only lasts about 20 min and it is not at all floral. This is one of the most unique fragrances I have ever worn. If you want to be different then this is for you. I will write more as I wear the fragrance. This is just a brief first impression.
EDIT————— begins below:
I was in love with this at first because I thought it was so different. I don’t like to wear common fragrances and I was thinking well this is something that could become my signature scent.
But then…. oh dear. I kept smelling this medicinal note that I believe could be from the pepper. Mind you, this odd note is surrounded by nice white florals but they’re not sweet.
I couldn’t figure out what this smelled like and why it did remind me of something from the drugstore. Then it hit me: IT SMELLS LIKE DESITIN DIAPER OINTMENT!!
So I guess the laugh is on me because I thought wow I could be such a trendsetter with this EDP. Ummmmm yeah, no. Nope. I now know the reason no one else smells like this is that who would want to smell like Desitin? In case you’re wondering cod liver oil and zinc oxide are the main ingredients in Desitin in addition to some sort of fragrance and somehow this resembles Eau de Virginie. Such a cruel joke… on me.
