In the first 10 minutes it smells too masculine, but after a 10-15 minutes later it becomes a really nice unisex fragrance. Not too special, but very good for spring, summer days. I like it, but I would not buy a full bottle of it.

It is a kind of scent that is great unisex scent.
Unfortunately i am not a fan of unisex scents.
To much lime, kind of citrus aromatic aroma.
I tried it as i wanted to try something else that normally i do, but i can say definitely its not my taste.

Eau de Courrèges is the perfect expression of what an Eau Fraîche should be. It also epitomizes all those perfumes, of the spiritual race of Eau de Lancôme, Eau de Rochas, Eau de Lancaster, Alliage… all these classics of the 70’s. Green, dry, crisp, dinamic, clean and yet with hints of dirt. A fragance that all the lovers of the mint should try. The sweetness of this is perfectly balanced with the bitterness of the absinthe, and the lily of the valley adds some delicate floralcy. Honestly, I do not understand why Courrèges perfumes are not receiving the praise they should have. The new Bleu and the new Empreinte are also excellent, and they represent modernizations of the original fragances without betraying the spirit and philosophy of the brand (very unlike of what Dior, Guerlain and many others are doing).

Atmosphere of late summer dinner served in the garden – smell from the river that runs near by, mixed in air together with aromatic peppermint and lemongrass, you can simply reach it by your hand, take a sprig in palms and inhale the whole summertime at once.
Tranquil and serene, in same tune for me as Jicky and Eau de Patou.

I have always been surprised of how little known this perfume is, well, I absolutely love it, I think it’s one of the best in its category (citrus chypre, for me), much better than Cristalle, Eau de Rochas, Ô de Lancôme and so on, maybe I’m partial because it was my mom’s and one of my aunts’ signature perfume for many years and it reminds me of good times but I can’t think of a better option for summer. When I smell it I think of a 70’s stylish free-spirited woman, just the kind of people who made this scent their signature. At first it’s very citrus, like lemonade, then it settles like a fine chypre and stays like that for a couple of hours, it doesn’t last very long but I don’t mind if I have to re-spray, it’s exhilarating, very recommended for people who like classic citrus-chypre scents.

It is available online,I got some from allbeauty.com for a very reasonable price.
I thought I would try this for a change as it’s fairly new,I like it but will probably go back to Eaux de Caron Forte when it runs out.

One of my favourites and very close to Ô de Lancôme except on the longevity side which is rather weak. Not a problem in itself as it is always a pleasure to reapply as the minty citrusy notes are a great uplifting combination. There is also an absinthe note which gives this modern “eau” a classy old fashioned style. Any man of style should have this perfume a part of the “big threes”: Ô de Lancôme, Eau de Rochas (for women) and a Eau de Courrèges.
Not very easy to find though. In London, only Selfridges have it. I have not seen it online. Shame…

The first heatwave of summer has kicked in and I’ve sprayed Eau de Courrèges on, with abandon I might add. The cool mint and zingy lime notes sparkle like bright sunlight dappled on the woody shade of vetiver and patchouli. I can’t say I smell lily-of-the-valley as such, but there is something aromatic in the heart that’s balanced between floral and herbal. Uncomplicated yet stylish, Eau de Courrèges is perfect for a day spent under a parasol with a big book and a cold drink, and equally happy-making.

This smells a bit too car freshner to me.. It’s a nice smell but not something I would want to smell like! Woody and light but not really perfume-like.
