Top notes are bergamot, white grapefruit and citruses; middle notes are egyptian jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, gardenia and magnolia; base notes are sea water, leather, indonesian patchouli leaf and white woods.

I think I figured out where Agnieszka’s grandma lives – in a stuffy, floral old house in East Hampden. This smells just like that, anyhow

The opening is a sharp acetone, but calms down within seconds to produce a chocolate/ cacao flavor.
There’s also a ‘guerlinade’ of sorts that underlie many of the Nomaterra offerings – including Savannah Magnolia, Cape Cod Wild Beach Rose, and Miami Orange Blossom. I’m not at all averse to a coherent thread that ties together a perfume house’s entire collection.

Smells like Gucci Guilty. No, seriously- exactly like Gucci Guilty. At first it has a kick of a very strong woody smell- sort of like what you smell if the wood was freshly cut and is still “bleeding”, but after that settles down, the smell is a twin brother of Gucci Guilty. Smells very nice, but doesn’t have the sillage or longevity of Gucci. And is twice as expensive.
