This one is incredibly faint. It’s in the same vein as Mildew and Earthworm, but it’s nowhere near as strong as they are and I can’t see it being a strong enough note to hold its own if it were mixed with something else. It does make me think of dust, minus all the allergies, and it’s actually a pleasant scent, for all that it’s nearly undetectable. It makes me think of a severely watered down version of one of the notes in “Smell of Weather Turning” by Lush.

This smells like musty gross dusty fabric with maybe a little bit of stale smoke.
It’s not something I would wear, but I guess someone out there wants to smell like this.

I did not intend to review this one, but when someone asks…!
A couple of years ago I order several Demeter samples and Dust was one of them. It’s not bad but not great. I would say it’s a sweet muskiness nothing, a bit like the faint smell of dried flowers. If Dirt (one of the most popular Demeter fragrances) smell like a basement, Dust smell like the attic of the same house (of Demeter). These scents are mostly for entertainment purposes IMHO.
