Anglia’s version of the discontinued Crown Perfumery’s Buckingham. A bit thinner, with more pine/cyprus patchouli than the Buckingham, which is a bit greener and more soapy. I would describe both as “The smell of a well-groomed, freshly shaved victorian Englshman.” Redundant over/not quite as good as Buckingham, but a worthy stand-in if I didn’t already have that one (but I do).

This is the second Anglia fragrance that I ve tried and these Ind that starts with an strong smell of nail polish remover.
The saving grace of both is that it dies quickly. I’m not sure what arrives o the wake of the acetone with Duncan though. A kind of woodsy, soapy scent. Not unpleasant but, well, I’m unsure.
I admit, I used the smallest of quantities from a vial, so a second try is very !uxh in order. Not my favourite of perfumes so far though.

In the opening I can pick up bergamot and pine which is shortly joined by a cypress note. It does smell soapy and aromatic but nothing really distinctive.
All in all though this very green and pleasant.
