I ordered a small sample of this based on the recommendation that it smells akin to Profumum Roma Vanitas. Ladies and Gents – it smells NOTHING like Vanitas. Dudu turns my stomach and I rarely say that about a perfume. It smells like a sticky jammy sickly mess. There is nothing nice about this in my opinion. It smells super synthetic and is extremely loud. I really disliked it ..Sorry..just being honest..

“Dudu” is heavy and “Dudu” is extremely long lasting, more than 12 hours on my wrists and still radiating strongly.
This perfume for me opened like a sugary powder bomb, I think there was way too much frangipani – it was almost chokingly powdery, imagine the cheap kind of baby powder you would never even dare to put on your child – “Dudu” for me for the first hours felt like that. I wasn’t bad, but it was on the verge of being chemical somehow. And it was too much – “Dudu” made a complete mess on my wrist.
The good part comes within few hours, where I’m hit with very feminine smelling powdery vanilla – very pure, pretty yet a bit too linear.
And in linearity comes the problem – I think “Dudu” besides the heaviness, when used sparingly, is a bit grown up version of “Pink Sugar”, but I mean like 3-4 years more grown up. There is nothing sophisticated about this on myself.
Given the fact of similarity of “Pink Sugar”, I don’t think this is worth the asking price…there are so many vanillas out there and yet another overly sweet sugarbumb is not what people usually try to find when exploring niche.
Then again “Dudu” is a powerbomb of 12+ hours staying power. So maybe you have the extra money and you just have the sweet tooth for perfumes also – then I’d say go for “Dudu”. Just don’t expect being surprised and don’t search for uniqueness of any sorts.
That said – I am still eager to explore the whole line! Quality was good.
