This is my first perfume from this house. I was shopping for something new and different, well I definitely found it! After testing so many perfumes that day, I decided that Don’t Tell Jasmine was the winner so I bought it. The next day after a shower I put this perfume on and I wasn’t blown away by it. I thought to myself ‘damn it you did it again, thought you loved it but didn’t test it properly’. Here’s the thing, it’s a very indolic jasmine..there is absolutely no sweetness here at all..not even a little bit. It’s a straight up, hard composition but after wearing it a few more times I have started to appreciate it more. It’s more of a serious perfume, like a straight up shot of whiskey. I’m a little obsessed with the 70’s era and this perfume is what I imagine a rich socialite might have worn. Or maybe Andy Warhol’s muse may have worn something like This! Either way because of its indolic feel it transports me into that era because of how strong it is. So while I don’t love it, I do like it.
