Viktor & Rolf Dirty Trick.
Of all the 6 members of the Magic Collection only 1 of them really carries within themselves the bolder spirit of a creative collection, filling the expected gap of the risky perfume. Dirty Trick is an oriental that gravitates around 3 elements: an accord of ink, iris and leather, but its aroma sounds more complex in the skin than that. The dirty trick to which the perfume seems to be referring is to create a noble iris with an ink chord.
On the skin, the perfume delivers just that and more, applying other 2 dirty tricks that almost pass beaten the way they are docked. But commenting on the main trick, at first one has the impression that the main theme of the perfume on the skin is an animalic aroma, something like a castoreum with civet nuances. But before this becomes repulsive it is perceived that the great star is the iris, which stands out precisely the most earthy and vegetable aspect of the absolute.
There is something daring here and little explored yet, which is a juxtaposition of sweet and animalic aromas. At the same time that we have the animalic accord of ink and the aroma of the iris there is something gourmand and creamy acting together. In addition, at the opening there is a contrast between a dark aroma and a very bright, fruity and watery nuance that appears quickly and passes beaten if you do not pay attention. This is the first dirty trick hidden from the perfume.
The second trick is revealed in evolution, when you actually realize what is responsible for the creamy sweetness of the perfume. As the iris softens on the skin a scent of leather reveals itself and there it is perceived that the perfumer has managed to fit the same idea of fruity leather of Tuscan Leather without the perfume seeming similar to it. This is combined with a base of an abstract aroma of woods and resins on the skin that sustains the perfume in the final moments of its evolution. Certainly not a perfume that pleases everyone, but it is precisely for this reason that a unique collection serves, to meet desires that are not commercially viable in a mass form.

Apologies for the repost. This review did not appear with my information (likely because I had just signed up) so I am reposting to attach it to my user information.
I was very excited to try this, as I love Flowerbomb and the notes listed seemed quite unique (ink).
The scent first reminded me of a dusty old leatherbound tome in some forgotten niche of a seldom-used private library. I loved the fragrance as it settled comfortably on my skin. It did not seem too masculine and curled around me as if I’d snuggled into a comfy armchair.
The drydown, however, was jarring. The lovely library was gone within an hour, leaving a sickly sweet smell that did not mesh with the remaining leathery accord. Thankfully it sat very close to the skin by this point, as it just didn’t work well on me. I feel the bottle is way too expensive to have such poor longevity.

Definitely a strong male undertone for this one, it isn’t feminine at all, it is a strong Iris and a bold leather combo, so watch out..it isn’t a delicate scent, this is full bloom opulence..almost an oud undertone, definitely rich, reminds me of encre noire ..makes me think also of the inside of an old suitcase, might not be good !! This isn’t my type st all, i much prefer feminine pretty scents.. Dirty trick makes a loud statement here, it won’t work for everybody..
It is very woodsy, serious, and masculine.
My least favorite of the Magic, but could be the smell from an old magician ‘ S trunk, easily !! The Magic of this one is that it makes you think of places, like an old stage in an old dusty theatre, definitely unique, but not an easy one to wear.

My fiancé and I really love this fragrance (for ourselves!) meaning, can be worn by either male or female. Starts off with a lot of suede and an “old study” type of smell, but as it dries down I get a really warm brown-sugar-vanilla type of smell. This is easy to wear but the quality and uniqueness are apparent. The kind gentleman at saks was nice bough to give me a sample and if I love it after a few wears it may be FB worthy.
