I’ve tried a lot of natural perfumes and I find Dimanche to be rapturously beautiful. It’s sparkling, warm, sophisticated, and just luscious. My favorite of the Strange Invisible collection by far, and I find many of them to be very good.

This is a very smooth, delicate, and proper example of all-natural perfumery. That essential-oil earthiness still exists, but it doesn’t smell like a health food store or a head shop, and all of the ingredients are very well balanced. Dimanche is a very pure, tender, unsweetened iris/cocoa. It lasts all day but stays very, very quiet — you basically have to stick your nose in it to smell it. It reminds me a bit of Bois Farine — they don’t smell alike but they have the same unsweetened gourmand powder vibe.
