It is necessary to give time to this fragnance. For me it’s perfume of bark and books. 🙂
First minutes are odd, but after 20 minutes scent grow into dry tree bark smell with a deep woody acords (a little bit like bark mulch for me). Rose and citrus are not dominant, they are in background. After some hours I discovered sweet amber, folowed by shadow of musc.
So.. I have to say I really like it, because I love oud, but I don´t recommend perfume to people, who are in world of arabic perfumes begginers.
Edit II: After some time of wearing, I started hate this perfume, i have to sell it. 😀

Not barn yard at all. A blast of wood, rose and citrus. Oud and rose rule the day.

This one definitely requires acquired taste very barn smelling the oud in this one is not for the faint hearted. Not sweet subtle its more like the Cambodian ouds you find in thick ointments. Not for me but I can imagine there’s a niche for this one…I don’t want to be harsh but there’s honestly something about this that reminds me of vomit. No offence to the lovers just my observation.
Fatality – :
I received my bottle today and couldn’t wait to try it, I unwrapped it in the lift and sprayed as soon as I got out of it.
Ok I like it but I was expecting more from Rasasi after trying “Faqat lil rijal” from that house.
They didn’t lie about the notes, it smells exactly of these notes but you can’t tell how much of each and other minor but important details, which is why I’m writing this review.
The citrus is weak in the opening, it’s very woody Oudh from the beginning.
The Oudh you get here is Cambodian, slightly barn smelling but definitely not like Indian Oudh. Roses are there to soften it and make it sweeter.
The amber and musk are there, musk is not the animalistic smelling black musk, and it’s not strong, but Amber is more evident.
Oudh is there all the time and it’s the main player.
I like it and I admire the presentation, but it’s not magical. I would be lying if I say I wasnt expecting more, but it’s a bottle I wanted to own for some time and it’s a good one, no regrets here.
Update: The more I use it the more it appeals to me, certainly an oud bomb and excellent longevity. So nicely presented too

The pretty white bottle is a cruel joke waiting to happen, because what’s inside is like a bandage on a butt. But what a pleasant butt it becomes. Great for layering under sweeter, floral, or more gourmand scents, this is seriously oudhy and off-putting, even, at first. Worn on its own, I’ve found it best to apply the night before, as it takes hours for the magic to happen. It’s sour and funky for hours, but morphs into a strangely addictive and pleasant, warm and woody scent. I cannot detect any floral or citrus in this. It is especially tenacious and lovely on clothing. Extremely challenging scent for anyone unfamiliar with truly Arabic perfumery, but not so expensive as to be a terrible financial blow if you find yourself horrified by it.
