I saw a 20mil bottle of devotion for 12$.I love being able to try a new perfume without paying much,I also love small-sized perfumes,no need to mention it’s interesting notes so I ordered it
it’s the first time I’m wearing it so I may have to edit my review after a while.it’s not what I was expecting(honestly I couldn’t imagine it’s scent, aldehydes and praline?really?!)still It’s not bad.
Gabriela sabatini devotion opens sort of boozy.something like sweet alcohol+fruits(something like a sweet citrus note or peach?! )but after a minute or two,it’s alcoholic undertone goes away and I’m left with a warm floralfruity vanilla.
I can’t name it a gourmand or foody scent and it makes me sad because I was looking forward to smell praline here.it’s not aldehydic in the way I expected but now that I know aldehydes are there,I can sometimes recognize a hint of them but not in their usual soapy way, they just add a fizzy undertone.
Actually I can’t pickup any specific notes in it but just a mixture of vanilla in form of a less fruity benetton hot, soft non-descript florals and mostly woody notes.except it’s opening few minutes which was a bit sharp and loud,it’s a warm, soft and dry woody-vanilla skin scent in the rest of it’s life.it doesn’t smell bad but there’s something late 90s,early 2000’s cheap perfume in it which somehow puts me off.it doesn’t smell expensive or interesting to me but at least it’s somehow friendly and cozy
Devotion isn’t something I can’t live without or decide to repurchase.I’m happy to know and experience it but if I had tried it,I definitely wouldn’t buy it even though it was very cheap.I guess my bottle of devotion is old and it’s aged liquid has probably influenced it’s scent
Can’t comment on it’s longevity yet but sillage was more than moderate first but after half an hour it sits softly close to skin
By the way I like it’s packaging.not made of high-quality materials but it’s simple and easy to use and reminds me good, old, cheap perfumes my aunts used as purse sprays long ago.

oooh what a memories.this way maybe the first one l ever had.sexy times, first loves, carefree life and sweet sweet devotion on my clothes.l had it while winter, but l want it for summer, never smelled it during that season, but it must be perfect.Very beautiful.l also cannot find it ,only on ebay and for a higher price. But this is a classic for me,perfectly done, without flaw.
