I have in my collection with Dhalia, Peony JDP, a mixture of two fragrances, TM ANGEL & CK EUPHORIA, patchouli with Angel and flowers from Euphoria, where at the bottom beautiful sweet dates, beautiful,sweet,dark and mysterious fragrance, wraps like balm, something beautiful, hidden treasure in a beautiful oriental bottle, very long durability, I love for cold days, the diamond in my collection pleases women and men, it is a unisex in the feminine side but it is unisex, it is a proof that the smells have no gender. I would recommend! Thank you Jesus Del Pozo, it’s your souvenir for me, the beauty you created. RIP. Blessed! Thank you Spain. Beautiful country.

I find huge similarity with Angel, but this beauty is less vanilla and more benzoin-myrrh, a bit of extra spice. If you ever tried Le Lys, you have an idea because that one is even more similar to this one, but `Peony` has more punch and lasts longer because of the spicy base notes. It`s a sticky sweet but also heavy scent, reminds me a bit of a cake made with dates and spices for the winter season. Kind of `new-school balsamic`, but I prefer `Dahlia` from the collection, however, this one is just as good quality and maybe a tad bit more appealing. I highly recommend, especially for winter!

Purchased as an accessible and cost effective alternative to Mirage by Oriflame. It is not exactly like Mirage. Defiantly more floral. And that was just from memory. I will do a side by side later. I feel it is a great purchase even if it isn’t a dupe and hard to believe it comes from the same house that made “Halloween” of which I have the original.
Side by side, Mirage is spicy, the elemi note is undeniable. Desert Flowers Peony which seemed spicy now seems floral.

This is really balsamic and the benzoin work as soft vanilla.
This a sweet and fresh parfum in the open,but more later is balsamic spice and dark fragance with sweet soft.
When you spray it you will be so happy,I love it very much, is very strong with very good longevity,for winter /autum, and spring /summer in the nights with wind. Is really wonderful.
I love Arabian Nights Private Collection too,both are my prefer o Jesus del Pozo.

What an underrated gem!
I bought a 100mil bottle for 22$ while I think it worthes even 5 times more!
Jesus del Pozo peony is far from my usual favorites and I can’t say it’s something I’d occasionally wear,it’s a unique beautiful oriental floral,strong,sensual and with character.it’s a combination of musky rose-like peony,balmy sweetness of date and benzoin which becomes more tasty with myrrh and a touch of spices and citruses…there’s just a hint of patchouli,vetiver and labdanium that cuts the sweetness and makes it a tad dark and deep
It’s a fall/winter scent and definitely mature.longevity is great is great and sillage is very good
