ok i bought this very cheap ! and i mean dirt cheap didnt think find it with this price , my father used to wear the original derrick (power house) back in the days , so im gonna continue with the Absolute gold & Blue first initial spray you’ll get the thyme and bits of cinnamon underlying its sweet and soothing almost smell like a less harsh cough syrup or maybe a sweet leather/suede (or even a sweet smooth petroleum) , after couple of mins there is a freshness added to the mix with a woody vibe (guess its jasmine&clove) its really a mellow scent and then comes the bad part! dry down is so close to skin or rather sub-skin that i barely noticed it even with my nose pressing up against where i apply it i didnt get much and longevity ,… about 2 hours top , projection 20 mins at most , so the verdict , its a cheap cologne with a cheap performance and the closest smell to this genre would be PR 1 million ! 🙂 but they are not similar , a definite no Go !
