Ilnur G – :
I am starting to like this ‘ being first’ lark..Anyway, this is a great Oud. The bottle is well designed and beautiful with a delicately metal ornate front. What reaches my nose is a creamy, spicy mix of oud and wood. Oud releases the smoky element while woody notes add a rather green dimension with the oriental spices adding a good deal of oomph leaving little room for sweetness. I detect Amber but this is very resinous and only moderately sweet, just the way I like it, or perhaps, the sweetness is overwhelmed by the smoke, wood and spice.
It is not as strong in longevity and sillage as other oils but still decent enough. I would say though this is not a weak Oud but because of kind of blend it can be ideal for any Oud beginner and nice for a rather warmer weather (if that ever happens in this Island…)
