Description
Calvin Klein presented Deep Euphoria in 2016 as a new variant on the theme of Euphoria from 2005, made to stand side by side with the original. In the spring of 2017, its new version comes out as Deep Euphoria Eau de Toilette, announced as a more radiant, spring-time flanker and as a seductive scent for passionate women with a pronounced “black magic” rose facet.
The fresh floral chypre composition of Deep Euphoria Eau de Toilette opens with “whimsical” and airy notes of water lily and pear, which compliment the velvety heart of black magic rose. Mineral woody notes with musk at the base reveal this composition to be fresher and more energetic than the original.
The face of the campaign is actress Margot Robbie. The bottle refers to the classic shape of Euphoria, but its fresh light pink color gives it “softness and subtlety”. The fragrance is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Something about the EDT in this scent (I haven’t tried the EDP) is scratchy and gives me allergies/makes me feel itchy. I think it may be the waterlily which is prominent; I had hoped for more rose in this scent.

The fruitiness stands out the most for me. It’s syrupy but yet light and playful, a “happy” fragrance. Great for spring and summer.

Calvin Klein perfumes are affordable and available and I’m always buying them for gift purposes, but somehow when I have to buy for myself I generally shy away. One reason is because the scents are usually very generic and I don’t find them standing out in a crowd.. Deep Euphoria EDT was one that I truly liked and I would buy for myself once the price goes down a bit. It is light in a beautiful subtle floral way, and not too sweet or strong like the original. I love rose, woods and musk and this one delivers them in just the way I would want to wear.

Nice, velvety rose scent that is also very fresh. It’s full of contradictions. It’s subtle, but sexy and alluring. All in all, it’s true, deep summery euphoria, perfect for almost all seasons.

I tried this one. It is much lighter and fresher than the original Deep Euphoria. If you found that one too heavy or sweet, this may be a good option for you.
